Chapter 1

Whisshh! Zoomm! Bang! That's the very first sounds you'll hear early in the morning on the Whale Island forest. Gon, Kurapika, and Killua, are training in the woods along with Jin, Gon's father. For the past seven years, Jin has been training Gon how to be a hunter.

Kurapika and Killua payed a friendly visit to see how Gon's agility improve. Few hours later, Jin called Gon to take a rest, along with his friends.

Mito-san made them drinks to cool off, "So, what do you think of our training?" Gon ask. "Well, I've been observing your moves.

I say you've quite improve a lot. How's school, Kurapika?" Jin tuned his head to Kurapika, expecting a response. "It's been ok, I guess."

"What do you mean, I guess?" "Well, some guys from my astronomic geometry kept on messing up with me until I exploded. The professors sent me out."

Sighing with sorrow, Kurapika look down. Killua gently pat his back and comfortly said, "It's alright, Kurapika. Don't worry about it too much, pal. If they bother you again, just tell me. I'll kill them for you."

Kurapika's eyes widened from Killua's statement, " Killua!" Gon laugh. Mito heard what Killau had said, then scolded him.

"I'm sorry Mito-san. I won't say it again," he said, crossing his fingers behind his back. "Mm! That's good!" Mito said, feeling satisfied. Killua go back to where the other's were.

"Aw men, I got scolded again!" Killua exclaimed, sitting next to Gon. When they were done, Gon ask Jin if they could explore the island.

"Ok, but don't get into any trouble."

"Okay!" they cheerfully exclaimed as they step out of the house.

"Can you guys smell the ocean?" Gon ask, inhaling at the same time.

"Lets split up" said Killua.

"What for?" Kurapika ask, confused.

"No reason. I just think that it'll be more of an adventure if we split up and look around town." Killua replied with a smile.

As time went by, Gon, who is enjoying the waters, bumped onto a girl. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention."

"Oh thats ok-." Gon was cut-off when he spotted the beauty of the little lady.

The girl helped him up. "I'm really sorry, I will make it up to you."

"No, that's fine."

They walked talking and sharring secrets. "Your a hunter!" she exclamed.

"Yep!" Gon said, smiling. He finally found his first love.
