A/N I own nothing but an idea

Chapter 2

Like any typical Sunday evening Draco was having dinner with his mother. A date he had always kept since his fathers incarceration in Azkaban. It was normally a quiet time, conversation kept to a minimum, but this evening Narcissa was fairly talkative.
/She wanted to to know every detail of the wedding he had attended the night before.

Draco was under the impression at first that she just missed social gatherings. After spending most of her life at the height of all social functions, that was until she asked him he had met anyone special. "I did have a nice evening with a

lovely witch from America ." He told her not wanting to give her any hint that he had a one night stand. "Beautiful!if the picture in the profit is accurate ." Narcissa said with a sly smile. "What picture mother?" He

growled as she handed him the article across the table.

"Tell me more about her?" Narcissa questioned. Draco, took a deep breath and rolled his eyes. He hated telling his mother too much about his life. "Her name is Lissy , she's from Chicago. She was brought in to help with the death

eater trials. She headed back to The states this morning, I probably won't ever see her again. We did have a nice time, best I've had in a long time." He told her hoping that his generic summery appeased her. Narcissa, smiled for she knew for

a fact that Draco would see her again.

6 weeks later across the pond

"Lissy, what are you eating?" Fiona -Woodward asked her younger sister. "Eggrolls! I can't seem to get enough of them here lately." She replied stuffing her face. "Liss, those have pork in them... since when do you eat

meat?" Fiona questioned. "Oh, they do? I found myself wanting a cheeseburger at the ballgame last weekend. Ever since I got back from England my tastebuds have been mixed up." Lissy laughted taking another bite of eggroll.

"You never told me much about your trip, did you meet anyone special?" Fiona interrogated her. "I did meet a nice guy at my friend Hermione's wedding my last night there." She smiled. "Oh, sister dear I think I know what's going

on. Fiona giggled. Lissy, looked blankly at her sister.

"Fi, it's not love I had a nice time at thewedding. I'm not loosing my mind pining over some guy... nomatter how dashing he is or how sexy his accent is," Lissy told her, her mind wondering thinking about Draco. "Did you happen

to do anything with him after the wedding?" Fiona asked her face covered in a blush. "FIONA!" She exclaimed throwing a napkin at her sister. "Well... any chance you could be you know?" Fiona asked pointing to her sleeping

5 month old daughter .

Lissy's mind went wild, what Fiona had just asked made plenty of sense. She was late, she just chalked that up to the jet lag and trying to get back to normal life. The cravings were crazy, even though she wasn't a vegetarian, she just never cared for
/meat. The texture always freaked her out. She had even been sick and nauseous here in there, and coffee! The smell of her favorite drink made her gag. She hasn't had a cup herself in several weeks. How could she have not thought of this herself ?

Her face as white as a ghost, Lissy looked at Fiona and shook her head slowly before quietly answering. " it's possible."

Later that evening at Lissy's House.

Alyssa Bernadette on her bathroom floor waiting on a timer to sound and tell her the fate of her future. Her hair piled up on top of her head, in yoga pants and an over sized Cubs hoodie looking a complete wreak, she waited. 1 minute...
/45 seconds... 30 seconds... 15 seconds... 10 seconds... 5...4...3...2...DING! The timer rang.

She slowly pulled herself up off the floor from her position leaning against her bath tub, took a long look in the mirror before examining the test. Two pink lines. Positive. She had a lot to figure out, so she went to lay down on her sofa for bit, to
/think about the best way to handle this.

She thought and slowly drifted off to sleep. She awoke at 2am, she had an idea and before she lost all her nerve she went to desk and grabbed a quill and parchment.

Dear Draco,

I have a bit of unfinished business to attend to in England. I was hoping you'd grant me the honor of dinner Saturday evening? You can pick the place and time.

Sincerely,

Lissy

She carefully tied the parchment to her owl Ruby's leg and gave her an extra treat for the journey she was about to make. Lissy, went back inside slid into her bed and hoped Draco would except the her invitation.
