"Where are you going your brothers are over there?" Sakura asked. Naruko shook her head "I need to fix my nail it broke during lunch."

Sakura looked down at her own nails. She popped them all off after one broke while she was fucking around with the twins. "I need to get mines done all over again I guess I'll walk with you."

"You sure? You parents won't blow their lids?" Naruko questioned. Sakura shrugged "They don't really care as long as I'm using my own money."

Naruko nodded "I want that type of freedom."

"It's not as glamorous as it seems I rely on myself for everything sometimes you just you know...want help."

"...Welp I have to pee." Sakura shook her head "Can you bring my books to my brothers I really don't wanna carry them."

"Why can't you bring them you got legs just like me." Sakura huffed "I just said I have to go pee…" Naruko deadpanned.

Naruko smiles dropping her books into Sakura's hands before running back towards the school. Sakura huffed and began walking towards the car, pep talking herself the whole way.

"Why you bringing Naruko stuff?Where'd she go?" Menma asked from his seat in the passenger side of the car.

"Nowhere we're gonna walk to the nail salon together." Sakura responded.

Naruto moved to lean against the hood of the car. Sakura paid them no mind. She said she was gonna ignore them and that was what she was gonna do. No matter what they said.

"Does she have money on her?" Naruto questioned. Sakura nodded 'No talking bitch keep them lips SEALED.'

"Do you have money on you?" Naruto questioned again. Sakura looked at him "Of course I do I wouldn't be going if I didn't."

Naruto held up his hands in surrender "Just making sure."

"Why? Y'all never worried about this type of shit before y'all should know better than anybody else I can take care of myself." Sakura crossed her arms. Why they were worried Sakura had no clue, but they knew better than anyone else Sakura could take care of herself.

"Nobody said you couldn't take care of yourself we were just making sure." Menma explained and it confused Sakura even more. It slowly dawned on her why they were asking.

Did they think they owed her anything? Because they didn't. Maybe she was overreacting but she'd tell them anyway.

"We don't feel like anything." Naruto began "Can't we just care?"

"No." Sakura said simply "Y'all never cared before so why care now?"

Naruto scoffed "Just because we don't say it don't mean we don't care."

"That's by far the dumbest thing I've ever heard you say Naruto and I've known you since elementary school." Sakura said.

"Well we care now how bout that?" Menma asked. "WHY?" Sakura exclaimed.

Menma waved her off reaching into his back pocket to pull out a twenty, Naruto doing the same. "Oh I think the fuck not I'm not taking that." Sakura backed away like they had a disease.

"You can and you will, simple." Naruto said "The money isn't gonna give you herpes Sakura just take it." He continues when he saw the look of disgust on the pinkette's face. "Yeah well I don't care keep your money."

Naruto sighed it looked like they'd have to force it into her hands. Sakura backed away when Naruto moved towards her, but stopped short when Menma's hand wrapped around her waist.

"I don't want it Naruto."

The boy shrugged shoving it into Sakura's jacket pocket anyway.

"I should kick you in your face for getting so close to me." Sakura hissed. Last time they'd been this close they had been…

"If I remember correctly-" Menma began.

"Don't do it." Sakura stated her heart in her throat "Don't fucking do it, a one time thing don't keep bringing it up."

Naruto moved away from and Sakura shook Menma's hand from her hips. "Let's just pretend it never happened ok. Can you do that? Or do I have to beg for that

to?" She questioned.

"The fact that you remember you begged is a turn on." Menma smirked.

Sakura shook her head "Stop talking your sister walking over."

Both pairs of blue eyes stared at her and Sakura felt a weight on her shoulders. It sucked that her heart skipped a beat at the words. It sucked even worse that she believed them.

Sakura stares at the acrylics on her hands. The pretty Azure blue matching her toenails. The man who'd done them appeared in front of her and Sakura immediately went to her back pocket to pull out the money she owed but stopped short. Before reaching into her jacket pocket to pull out the money given to her.

She handed it over before turning her eyes back to her nails. They wanted to spoil her? Fine she'd let them spoil her...just this once though. Just this once.
