Sebastian leaned down to pour Lizzy's tea, ''I saw something interesting earlier.'' Sebastian said, now serving some snacks, ''Interesting? Like what?'' Lizzy hoped he wasn't talking about her, ''It was the strangest thing, girl who looked exactly like you and exactly your height was battling a gang, she killed them all. I know it couldn't have been you because you were upstairs sick, though I don't know why you've got blood in your hair.'' Sebastian said a smirk on his lips, Lizzy gulped as she quickly rubbed the red out of her hair. ''I also know of something interesting.'' Lizzy said ''What might that be if I may ask'' Sebastian said bending down again to hear, ''Oh just something about a demon being my fiances butler and a certain demon sword that can kill any demon.'' Lizzy said smirking right back up at him, Sebastian stiffened ''But I know it couldn't be you because... actually, I don't know it couldn't be you. So lets keep this morning a secret and I won't get the sword, deal?'' Lizzy asked smirk still intact ''Its a deal Lady Elizabeth'' Sebastian said as he bowed to her Ciel finally returned and the day went on as usual.
Lizzy laid on her bed, tired from her day of secrecy and death, she remembered the first time she killed someone it wasn't in cold blood, an accident really.
Flashback
Lizzy was tracking down a serial killer with the assistance of Scotland Yard, she had her swords in her hands when the killer grabbed her from behind probably intending to use her as a hostage, Lizzy's arms moved without her thinking about it, they swords flew into his chest as he staggered back blood flowing from the wounds, Lizzy whirled around and covered her mouth to hold in a scream. The killer lifted his arms up as if he was trying to grab her before he drew one last gurgling breath then died, eyes still wide open staring at her. The police came and took care of the bloody corpse but Lizzy was still standing there, eyes frozen to the spot he had laid just minuets before, one of the police to her home but she barely recognized it, no words of comfort from her Mother, Father, or Brother could reach her, she just stared blankly as if in a trance. Paula led her up to her bedroom and once she was there Lizzy started to cry, she flung herself on her bed crying hysterically, whispering hysterically to herself all the while, ''He's dead. I killed him. I killed him now He's dead.'' Paula was afraid if she left Lizzy might hurt herself so she stayed there with her. She was still crying three hours later when a servant knocked at her door, Paula hurriedly answered it, ''Yes?'' Paula inquired quietly, ''Lord Phantomhive is here!'' The servant said excitedly, ''Lady Elizabeth must get ready!'' as the servant left after relaying the news Paula closed the door, ''Milady?'' she said softly ''Lord Phantomhive is here'' Lizzy sat up at once, ''Ciel is here?!'' Lizzy exclaimed, ''I can't let him see me like this! I have to be cute for him!'' she said franticly, ''you'll be plenty cute once we get you fixed up'' Paula reassured Lizzy, after a half hour a hurriedly brushing and fixing hair, getting dressed and powdering all traces of tears away Lizzy deemed herself cute enough to go downstairs and see Ciel, ''Remember Paula, not a word about his to anyone, especially not any of Ciel's servants'' Lizzy said before she went downstairs, ''I would never Milady!'' Paula exclaimed, then quieter said, ''Forgive me Milady, I won't speak of this'' Lizzy smiled and said ''I believe you Paula, your like my big sister'' Paula blushed with pleasure ''Thank you Milady'' then Lizzy went downstairs to see Ciel.
Flashback End
Lizzy sighed, sometimes she wished she had never accepted the job for the queen, but she knew that the only way to keep her country and her Ciel safe was to do this, she had to put aside her childhood and become a monster to save his life, she would do anything for him, even if it means sacrificing her own innocence and life. She would protect him.
