Any guesses who this one's supposed to be? And tell me how you got into TMNT, just out of curiosity (plus I'm trying to teach my idiot brother that not only 5-year-olds watch it).

Disclaimer: I haven't married Raph… yet…

It's funny how people associate red with so many opposites. Love and hate. Roses and blood. Good luck in China, and Satan in Europe. Feeling all warm and fuzzy inside, and feeling like you're about to explode. It's easy to forget, and only ever think of red as an angry force. It's not like that, though – red isn't rage alone. It's anger that comes from love, the most sacred of all emotions, the reason for living. Red isn't pain. Red is strength. Red isn't to be taken lightly, but it brings with it power and unbelievable intensity.

Red also has the longest wavelength of all the colours – that's why the stuff they use in night vision is called infra-red, below red. Red's as far as you can take your feelings and still believe in things – after that, you can only fake it. Red is consistent – even though it may not seem like it. Red can appear good and bad, but I like to think of it as being the most good there can be with out being bad.

Red's the same inside whether you call it a hothead, a ninja, the Nightwatcher, or my brother. Red is Raph – always.
