Chapter 2: Schoolwork?!
A/N: I'm back with chapter two, and so far, in the last less-than-a-week, I've already managed 29 views! So that's great, and I'm looking forward to more views and hopefully some responses (AKA reviews)
I hear GLaDOS's metallic tone ring through my head. "Welcome to the new Aperture Science middle school program…" As she says this, the other guy in the room wakes up. He climbs off the cot and looks around. I ask him, "Who are you?"
After a minute, he responds, "I'm… P-body. And Connor, I—I'm really confused right now. Who're you?"
It takes a minute before I get over the initial shock. "P-body?" I respond, "is that really you?! It's me, Atlas!"
"No way. It can't be you, I mean… Look at you! You're a human!"
"Heh… Look in the mirror pal, so are you."
After about twenty minutes worth of our own guesses on what's happened, GLaDOS speaks again. "You two are in the new Aperture Science Middle School Testing Facility. You have school in approximately 15 minutes. I suggest getting something to eat, your human volunteers have been in stasis for over 1000 years… Of course, the cryo-shock has yet to affect your metabolisms, but in about three seconds, you will both feel-"
Her message ended abruptly when a loud rumble sounded. I felt my stomach rumble with a fierce rage. I quickly replied before She continued, "Yeah, we get it. How do we make food?"
"Check in the freezer of your room's freezer. There is a box of Eggos, and some syrup in the cabinet. The instructions are on the box, and you eat by putting the waffles, after heating, into your mouth and chewing. Good bye for now…"
As she stopped talking, I thought, Who else is trapped in this so-called school?!
