A/N: For reference on the characters, check the previous chapter's disclaimer. Oh, and I don't own Legend of Korra, but GOSH I wish I did.
Rike stood waist deep in the clear blue water. Noatak smiled down at his four year old daughter.
"Daddy, do you think I can do it?" she asked quietly, watching as the water swirled around her hands.
"I'm sure you can, Baby," Noatak said with a smile.
She grinned and pulled her hands out of the water, "Can you show me again?"
Noatak chuckled and began slowly turning the calm water from unmoving to full of waves. Behind the two came a loud laugh. Kasei stood on the shore behind them chuckling at the look of awe on her young daughter's face.
"Kasei," Noatak said, smiling softly at his wife, "I didn't know you were watching." Rike reset her footing and bit her lip. She raised her hands; a small drop of water came off of the surface of the pond.
She grinned with excitement, "Look, Mommy! I did it! I made the water moved without splashing! I'm just like Daddy now."
Kasei smiled as a thin tear rolled down her face, "Just like Daddy. I'm proud of you, my little otter-fox."
Noatak beamed at his small daughter, not catching the sad look on his wife's face. "I can't wait to teach you everything I know."
Hello all! I know that this one is astronomically short, but I kinda had to finish it before 10 p.m. I hope you enjoyed Rike's first instance of waterbending! Love you all! *blows kisses to all readers* BYE GUYS!
