Chapter 2: That moment
Tom and Rodney were mortified by what the doctor of the orphanage did to the children there. Tom looked sadly at the kids going into different carriages then he noticed a girl about his age, maybe a year younger, looking at the other children as well. She had pale skin and short blackish brown hair. She wore a gray, white, and black outfit. He was about to look away when she looked up at him.
'Green eyes,' Tom thought gazing into this girl's eyes. He walked over to her and talk to her.
"Hello," he greeted, "I'm Tom Sawyer."
"Hello," the girl greeted back, "I'm Alice Lindell."
Rodney was watching the whole thing and thought, 'They will work.'
