Lanes Between
King Mickey was flying the Gummi ship. In the cockpit with him was Donald, Goofy and Pete. They were still trying to track down Xehanort.
"Pete, are you sure you don't know anything about Xehanort?" King Mickey asked.
"Like I told you punks, I don't know anything about this Xehanort," Pete grumbled.
"And why should we trust you?" said Donald angrily. "Every time we've met you tried to kill us."
"Because, I don't like this Xehanort anymore then you guys," said Pete glaring.
"Donald, we've got more important things to deal with," said King Mickey.
"But how are we going to find Xehanort?" Goofy asked.
Before Mickey could answer him, Chip and Dale appeared on the monitor.
"Your Majesty!" Chip yelled.
"We're under attack!" Dale yelled.
"By who?" Mickey asked worriedly.
"We don't know," said Chip. "He just appeared out of nowhere."
"He's some kind of wizard and seems to have an army with him," said Dale. "He seems to be after the Datascape for some reason."
Pete gasped. "Don't let him get his mitts on it!" said Pete.
"Pete? Is there something you need to tell us?" King Mickey asked.
"Well, after Maleficent and me escaped that Datascape she told me that it was linked to something called the Book of Prophecies," Pete explained.
"Uh, what's that?" Goofy asked.
"I don't really know myself, but Maleficent said that the book could see into the future and create a whole new world."
"So, that's why Maleficent was so interested in the Datascape," said King Mickey. He then turned to Chip and Dale. "Try and hold them off fellas… will get there as soon as we can."
Disney Castle: Gummi Hanger
They soon landed in the hanger and exited the Gummi ship as soon as possible. Then they saw Chip and Dale running towards them.
"Your Majesty!" they yelled.
"They've broken through the main gate!" said Chip jumping up and down.
"They're heading straight for the library!" Said Dale jumping up and down as well.
Then they saw that Pete was with them. "What's he doing here?"
"Right now all you need to know is that he's on our side," said King Mickey. "Where's Minnie?"
"She's in the library," said Chip.
"Oh no, Minnie!"
"We tried to get her Majesty to safety," said Dale.
"But she wouldn't hear of it," said Chip. "She said she'd protect the Datascape."
King Mickey then rushed out of the hanger with Donald, Goofy and Pete close behind.
Disney Castle: Courtyard
They soon exited the hanger and the moment they got outside they saw members of the castle guard doing battle with cloaked wizards. They were all wearing a strange mask over their face that resembled a skull and they were commanding some Wizard Heartless'.
"How did Heartless get into the castle?" said Goofy.
"With this recent imbalance I can't say I'm unsurprised," said Pete. "As if you remember Maleficent was able to enter into the castle easily."
King Mickey, however, was more focused with the battle that was raging on the Courtyard. The castle guards were holding their own, but they were losing ground fast.
"We got help them," said King Mickey.
They charge that the cloak wizards.
"Goofy Bash!" yelled Goofy throwing in his shield of a couple wizards.
"Thunderaga!" yelled Donald zapping several wizards with the mystic lightning.
"Bowling Ball!" yelled Pete rolling one of his explosive bowling balls that blasted a wizard into the air.
King Mickey summoned his Keyblade and charge at the Wizard Heartless. He avoided all their attacks and sliced through every single one of them.
"Your Majesty!" one of the guard yelled. "Their leader and some of his lieutenants managed to get by us."
"Hold the line here," King Mickey ordered. "We'll stop them."
And they rushed over towards the castle entrance.
Disney Castle: Library
Getting into the library wasn't easy. They have to battle their way through other wizards and their Heartless.
When they enter the library they saw four figures looking down at Queen Minnie. One of them was a lady with black hair, she was pretty, but she had a crazy look about her. The other two were men, one was tall with blond hair and look quite stern, while the other had black greasy hair and look like there was a smell under his nose.
However, the one that caught his interest was their leader. He was wearing thick black robes, but his face wasn't human. He was bald and pale skinned, his eyes were red and evil -looking and his nose so flattened that the slits resembled a snake.
"Ah, I see we have some company," said the pale wizard looking at them in a menacing way. His then turned to King Mickey. "I will assume that you're the king of this castle."
"I am Mickey Mouse, the King of Disney Castle," said King Mickey pointing his Keyblade at him, "and I demand you tell me who you are."
"Oh, where are my manners," said the pale wizard bowing mockingly. "I am Lord Voldemort, the most powerful dark wizard in my world."
"What do you want?!" Donald demanded.
"Oh, I was informed about you're… Datascape was it," said Voldemort. "I've heard that it has the power to see into the future and that is something that I desire."
"Who told you?" said King Mickey.
"The man that told me that darkness and light are a lie and that power is the only thing that matters," said Voldemort. "Xehanort."
"Xehanort!" They all gasped.
"Ah, so you know him," said Voldemort slyly. "Yes, he opened my eyes told me about other worlds apart from my own. Told me that there were… differences and that even some don't possess magic. After I conquer my own world those worlds are going to be my next target."
"You still have to deal with us," said Donald.
"Let me deal with them my lord," said the woman pointing her wand at them.
"No, my dear Bellatrix, you try and persuade the dear Queen to reveal the location of the Datascape" said Voldemort holding his hand out. "I'll deal with the King myself." He then looked at the two men. "Lucius, Severus deal with his men."
Voldemort then aimed his wand at King Mickey.
"Avada Kedavra!" He yelled.
Suddenly a green light shot from the end of his wand that headed straight for King Mickey. Luckily, King Mickey was agile enough to dodge it and charge straight at Voldemort at a very high speed.
"Sliding Dash!" King Mickey yelled.
However, before he could hit Voldemort, he disappeared and reappeared behind King Mickey. Voldemort then raised his wand once again.
"Crucio!" He yelled.
Before King Mickey knew what hit him is entire body felt as though thousands of knives were sticking straight into him. He could hear Minnie screaming, but he could barely lift his head to look at her.
"Let's finish this," Voldemort snarled. "Avada Kedavra!"
The green light was heading straight towards him and there was nothing he could do to avoid it. Then out of nowhere, Goofy's shield came in between him and the spell blocking it.
"Thanks Goof," said King Mickey getting to his feet.
"No worries your Majesty," said Goofy.
He looked around and saw that Donald, Goofy and Pete were doing battle between Voldemort's men. His attention was drawn to Queen Minnie, who was backing away from the woman Bellatrix, who had a nasty-look in her eyes.
"Minnie!" King Mickey yelled and dashed towards her.
However, he didn't get very far, Voldemort blasted him with a red light. The red light hit him in the back and sending him back down to the floor.
"Falling victim to love," said Voldemort smirking. "Here I thought that you were a strong warrior, but if you fall for love then you are weak."
Voldemort raised his wand ready to deal the final blow, but then he was hit by a golden light. King Mickey turned his head and found a newcomer had entered into the library.
At first he thought it was Master Yen Sid, but he was wearing half-moon spectacles, his robes were purple instead of blue and his wizard's hat didn't have any stars on it. Whoever it was was someone Voldemort knew very well, because he was backing away fearfully.
"Ah, Tom, so you are here," the wizard said.
"Dumbledore!" Voldemort gasped. "What are you doing here?"
"Well, I think that I'm here to stop you from killing the queen of this world and stopping you from getting your hands on an ancient book of prophecies," said Dumbledore without a care in the world.
"How did you know I was here? And how did you get here?" Voldemort demanded.
"I'm an old friend of Yen Sid," said Dumbledore smiling. "He saw you leaving your world and informed me. As for me getting here, well I am a powerful wizard and there are many ways to get other worlds without using Dark Magic."
"My Lord," said Severus. "What do we do?"
Voldemort looked around with the corner of his eye and saw that his followers were losing ground.
"We return to our home world," he said bitterly.
He then raised his wand and a Corridor of Darkness appeared. Then he and his followers entered in it and it close behind them.
King Mickey turned to Dumbledore with relief. "Thank you," he said. "If you hadn't come—"
"Think nothing of it," said Dumbledore dismissively. "Anything to help an old apprentice of Yen Sid's."
"Mickey!" Queen Minnie yelled running towards him.
"Minnie!" King Mickey yelled back hugging her.
Dumbledore just looked at them amused. "Ah, to feel the embrace of a loved one," he said.
"That's nice and all," said Pete walking up to them. "But how about we find out why old Mouldymort wanted the Book of Prophecies."
"I think I can help you with that," said Dumbledore. "Recently, Voldemort has heard part of a prophecy that could bring his reign to an end. I believe he wanted to hear the full prophecy."
"It also seems that he's been working with Xehanort," said King Mickey crossing his arms. "What I don't understand is why Xehanort hasn't made that guy one of his Seekers of Darkness."
Dumbledore stroked his long white beard as if pondering that very question.
"Can't we, uh, just look at that Book of Prophecies?" Goofy asked.
"Goofy, that's it!" King Mickey yelled. "We may not know the answers, but the Book of Prophecies might."
It took about an hour for Chip and Dale to get the datascape online. During this time, King Mickey was studying Dumbledore closely.
"You called him Tom," King Mickey said finally.
"His true name is Tom Riddle," said Dumbledore. "And regretfully he was a student of mine."
"He was your apprentice," said King Mickey.
"No, in my world we have a school for wizards and witches," said Dumbledore. "And I was the one who found him and brought him there. Even then he showed signs of something evil."
King Mickey wanted to dwell on this more, but he was interrupted by Chip and Dale.
"We've done it," said Chip excitedly.
"The Datascape is online," said Dale.
King Mickey walked to his desk and saw that the Datascape was up and running. Then Data Riku appeared on the monitor.
"It's been a while guys," said Data Riku. "Is there anything you need?"
"Yes, we believe the Datascape has access to something called the Book of Prophecies," said King Mickey. "We wish to have access to it."
"This Book of Prophecies is new to me," said Data Riku. "But I'll see what I can find."
The screen went blank and King Mickey couldn't help but noticed Dumbledore's amused face. "Voldemort, believes that us magic folk are the ones with true power, but Muggle technology never stops to impress me," he chuckled.
Then Data Riku appeared back onto the monitor with a sly smile on his face. "I think I found it," he said. "Or should I say it found me."
"What do you mean?" said Goofy.
"I don't know how to explain it," said Data Riku rubbing the back of his head. "Sora was helping me search for this book and then while he was searching Traverse Town… this strange bit of data appeared right in front of him."
"Strange how?" King Mickey asked.
"I don't know how it is possible, but it looks like magic," said Data Riku.
"What's strange about that?" said Donald. "We use magic all the time while inside the Datascape."
"That wasn't magic," said Chip.
"It was just something we programmed in," said Dale.
"And I'm betting that it was something similar in Space Paranoids and in The Grid," said King Mickey.
"Indeed, in Data Realms like the Datascape and Space Paranoids magic doesn't exist," said Data Riku. "It's just data that's made to look like magic."
"Uh, then how did the magic getting there?" Goofy asked.
"We don't know," said Chip.
"It's like it wanted to be found," said Dale.
"We can figure out the mystery on how magic appeared in the Datascape later," said King Mickey. "Right now let's find out what we've got."
"I'm have it appear on screen now," said Data Riku.
Everyone looked at the screen as the mysterious message appeared.
King Mickey didn't know how to explain it, but it was like looking at a story. First they saw Sora and Kairi holding hands around the χ-blade. Next the χ-blade shattered into seven lights and they headed towards the sky.
Then the scene changed and free shadows appeared. King Mickey couldn't make them out, but he could tell one was human holding a Keyblade and resembled Kairi, another one was a raccoon with his face covered in a cloak and lastly was a falcon with a robotic arm. They were charging at a shadowy figure with a strange laugh and then the screen went blank.
"What was that?" Pete asked.
"It looked like it was visions from the future," said King Mickey.
"Would you think it could mean?" Queen Minnie asked.
"I don't know."
During this conversation, Dumbledore just stood there very quiet and looked as if the situation was quite normal.
"Well, I think it's time that I returned to Hogwarts," said Dumbledore and vanish in a cloud of bright light.
"That guy," said Pete rubbing his head, "has a few screws loose."
Disney Castle: Gummi Hanger
King Mickey and his crew were settling into the Gummi ship preparing for take-off.
"What do you think this all means your Majesty?" Donald asked.
"I don't know," said King Mickey as the hanger doors opened. "But I have a feeling going to find out soon."
They then zoomed off leaving Disney Castle.
