Getting Set to Start Deck'in!
So I suppose I never explained. This school exam lets us head onto Duel Academy. Our school's name...The Ascension. The downside is that it's also a alternative school. I go there because I live alone with my sister, and my sister goes there because she's so smart and I don't have a babysitter anymore. He actually went to duel academy, but he also got beat up alot. Sissy said he was already beat up, but I wonder if he was part of a fight club? I was looking through my deck, strategizing.
"Swimming Doge, Dark Bikini Magician Girl, Negate Attack, Silent Bikini Magician Girl LV5...and then the professors card," I said picking it up, "Soul Exchange. This will be noice."
Ashley walked up to me.
"Bubby could you give me your opinion of my "Super Special Awesome Ultra Special" deck?" My sister asked. I had a feeling that was a reference, but ignore it. I grabbed her deck and started shifting through them. But my expression became one of dumbfounded.
"Uhhh...sis?" I asked.
"Yes Bubby?" Ashley asked.
"I don't mean to disrespect, especially since any card can be useful, but this deck has nothing but kuriboh cards, drawing cards, and a handful of traps!" I exclaimed. She smiled.
"Yep! I added more traps, and took out some kuribohs! I also added the professors card!" Ashley told me with a un-dying face of an angel. I sighed as when it comes too my sister she gets the one combo of things I have. Arrogance and ego to her ideas and stuff. I gave her the deck back and looked back to mine. Going to duel academy means I have to be at my best. And make everyone not assume I'm a pervert, and that I just like these cards because they're really good. I smiled as I put them away in my deck box.
"So what card did prof give you?" I asked her.
"Sorry bubby, it's a secret!" She told me putting a card into her deck. I rolled my eyes. Can't be helped I suppose, after all there's nothing i can really do to make her tell me. "Anyway I'm going to go cook now, bye!"
I watched her run out of the room. That was the other thing. I don't know how to cook but she does.. I sighed.
"Sometimes I wonder how I live my life." I said to myself. I kicked back on the couch and turned on the TV. "Oh hey, it's one of those ainsty, mlmwiney, edgy teenage white-girl shows. Imma just watch Lost Property of Heaven."
The Next Day
We woke up the next day, ready to get our game on! I feel like I referenced someone, but I plead the first amendment! We walked into our gym, which was literally a tiny stadium, and everyone was scanning out other competition.
I stretched out, giving a yawn before a stampede of guys ran up wanting to trade. After rejecting them, me and sissy get some popcorn. It tasted like the kind you got from places like Royal King. Dry and cold, yet cheesy enough to notice. Our principle showed up. The stereotype partially bald, somewhat big and fat man.
"Hello students, and welcome to the academy final exam pass! Those who pass will be able to go to duel academy! And on top of that…" He said, pointing to the right side of the arena which had a glass cover. "We have the famous Kaiba watching this duel!"
I nearly coughed up my popcorn.
"Aw shit, Kaiba's here!?" I asked, shaking up like a pin.
"Is something wrong bubby?" Ashley asked.
"N-no not at all!" I said. But I lied. Me and good ol' Kaiba have an in-direct history. These cards I have? Well my father worked for Kaiba Corp, but dad was given these cards, he died that day and I took them not thinking of it. When Kaiba Corp wanted it back, I simply said I had no idea where the cards were. This could be trouble.
"For our first match, would the ones known as "KaggyFilms" and "SimpleFlips" please show up?"
"Haa-haa, Im gay(me)!" Kaggy called.
"Uhhh...okay gay."
"No! I said game! GAAAAAAAAME!"
Some time later and multiple matches
"And with that, it proves that you should play Dragon Ball Legends! Because i'm game! By my merch now at "WWW..IMGAME!" Kaggy called in the mike, not talking about the matches at all.
Note: That's not his actual . But it's a joke so...yee-yee.
"You heard him folks, he is indeed game! Now for our final round. Would our little angel of the school please come down!" He called. I was at the bottom of the crowd, in the shadows, as she hopped down. No one booed, but not all of them cheered. Some of them were worried about a little girl dueling. I saw Kaiba was actually out in the stands. I smirked. He was about to see how good I am. "And her opponent is the irony! Her biggest role model, her best friend,and of course her older brother!"
"Wait what?" Ashley asked.
"Michael!" He called. I walked out, putting my Duel Disk on and loading in my deck. "Michael here has already passed, so he offered to ber her testing partner!"
"Allright sis, get ready to start decken!" I told her, and her eyes widened.
"W-what...I can't beat bubby!" She said, pointing at me while looking at the judge with tears in her eyes.
"Sorry you have too." He said.
"B-but his pride will be broken!" She said. A tick mark silently appeared on my head.
"Ok it seems that you grew up to be a little brat…" I said to her.
Turn 1-Michael
"So let me teach you a lesson! DRAW!" I yelled, drawing a card. "And I start by summoning my right-hand boi, Swimming Doge (1200/1200) in attack-mode! Next I'll be throwing down two face downs. It's your turn, oh dearest sister."
Turn 2-Ashley
"Ok I guess I have no choice, draw!" Ashley said. "I start by Summoning my Kuriboh (300/200) in five mode!"
"And this is why your deck is bad…" I said face palming.
"And then I play Multiply! This will allow me to make four Kuriboh Tokens (300/200) in attack mode!" She said. Four more kuribohs showed up, slightly grayer. "After that I activate detonation, letting me destroy three of my tokens too destroy your three cards!"
"NANI!?" I asked recoiling. The Kuriboh on the left side and one on the right approached my dog and two cards.
"Then they will both attack you directly!" Ashley declared, they both rammed into me, and I fell to my but loosing my points.
"Okay sissy, not bad…" I told her. "A three card combo, but got rid of my whole field and you got two different monsters on the field. But now it's my turn."
Turn 3-Michael
Michael: 3600
Ashley: 4000
I drew my next card. She did not place a card down. A mistake.
"However you made a mistake not playing down a trap card! I summon my Bikini Beach Sand Dragon (1800/2000) in attack mode!" I told her, summoning the dragon. "Next I use the magic of Monster Reborn! To bring back my Swimming Doge! Then they'll both destroy your monsters!"
My dragons ran forward, ripping them apart. Ashley held her arms up to block the blow back of the wind.
"Uh-oh, my bad!" She said. I rolled my eyes.
Turn 4-Ashley
"I summon Junkuriboh (300/200) in defense mode." Ashley said, summoning the monster. "After that I will activate Pot Of Greed, letting me draw 2 cards. Then I will place 3 cards face-down, and end my turn."
Turn 5-Michael
"Ok then...weak move but what-evs sis." I said to her. "DRAW!"
I stared at my hand.
"Ok then, I sacrifice my Swimming Doge to summon my Bikini Beach Water Dragon (1900/2100)!" I told her. A pillar of water engulfed my dog, before a dragon appeared. It was 7ft tall, 2ft from it's long neck. It had 6ft wing's with both wings, and dark blue scales around him, with cyan around his belly. It's eyes were a blood red, and it had these weird extensions that looked like wings from the side of his head going out a foot.
"Uh-oh…" Ashley told herself.
"Attack Water Dragon!" I commanded. The water dragon, unlike the sand, shot out a blue streak of water.
"I activate my trap card, Negate Attack!" Ashley yelled. A barrier appeared around Junkuriboh, and it did a weird but cute bark. "Which means you can't attack me with Sand Dragon."
"Neato move. Let's see how you counter attack." I told her. She drew her card.
Turn 6-Ashley
Michael: 3600
Ashley: 1600
Ashley drew her next card, staring at her hand.
Ashley's Mind: Okay so I have Mirror Force and Magical Cylinder on the field. On the field is my Junkuriboh. And in my hand I have another Junkuriboh, Rainbow Kuriboh, Flute of Summoning Kuriboh, and multiply. Alright then here goes.
Note: Michael can't read her mind, but i'm just showing her thoughts.
"I start by summoning another Junkuriboh in defense mode!" Ashley called, summoning a twin of her previous monster. "I then end my turn."
Turn 7-Michael
"Well geez, I don't know what your plan is but okay. My move!" I exclaimed, drawing a card. I had my dragons on the field. And in my hand was Mystical Space Typhoon, Polymerization, Fan Service and Lightning Vortex. "I start by activating the magic of Mystical Space Typhoon, destroying your right face-down card!"
A typhoon came, blowing up her Mirror Force and destroying it. Now it was if I should use Polymerization or Lightning Vortex. But then I only have one Lightning Vortex, and I gotta save it for something important. Like nothing she has.
"So now I'll attack with Sand Dragon!" I yelled.
"Nope! Because I use my Rainbow Kuriboh effect! If one of my monsters would be destroyed, I cant equip my Rainbow Kuriboh to your Sand Dragon making it unable to attack!" Ashley told me, and as she said that a blue shark like Kuriboh jumped onto my Sand Dragons face.
"Fine then, Water Dragon attack!" I commanded. Water Dragon fired its blue water stream at the original Junkuriboh.
"That will also fail because I use Magic Cylinder, redirecting your attack to you!" Ashley called out, and two barrels floated in front of the Junkuriboh. The attack quite literally went in one end and out the other, hitting me instead. Her field was empty now though. Aside from her Kuribohs.
Turn 8-Ashley
Michael LP: 1800
Ashley LP: 1600
"Ok my draw. And I start by activating my pot of greed! With this I can draw two cards." Ashley said, drawing two cards. She smiled. This cant be good. "Ok so...its kinda over now."
"Huh?" I asked.
"I sacrifice both of my monsters to summon my best card!" She said. Both Junkuriboh turned into spheres. One white and one black. Ashley lofted a card, and the infused into it, causing a bright light with black electricity to crumble everywhere. The ground actually shook a little. A pillar of light then appeared with black electricity. "LIGHT AND DARKNESS DRAGON!"
I heard a ferocious roar as the Dragon figured showed up.
"Ahhh, shit…" I said to myself.
