(Sorry for the wait, college has been kicking my ass. Also, I have no ownership of RWBY, nor do I claim to.)
Oro smiled as he finished up the mask, a simple face shaped peice of metal, rounded and polished before he gently trailed a peice a lof fire dust over a dragon shaped patch of still soft metal. Soon a crimson design of a mistralian dragon was prevalent om the primarily white mask. He placed it on his face and latched two bits to his jaw before he opened his mouth and moved it, the metal shifting to fit his moving face. "Perfect!" He turned to the adorable assassin seated behind him, "How does it look Neo?" The silent asassin gave him a small thumbs up before he said. "Thanks for helping." He patted Neo's head, "I'll get you a tub of ice cream tonight as a thanks." He grabbed him and pulled him into a bone crushing hug, "Holy fuck, ouch." Neo slowly let go of him and Roman entered the back room of the store.
"Kid, load up, we got a job tonight. Boss's orders." Oro nodded and slipped the mask up a bit, removing the metal from his face. "Okay." He patted Neo's head and said, "I'll get it on our way back." He grabbed his backup weapon, a flamethrower and staff hybrid and stepped out of the backroom, into a full hallway of goons. The goons turned towards him and all glared a little, they barely had their aura unlocked, much less a useful semblance like his, so they were resentful of him being on this trip. He slid the mask back down and said, "Roman? Who's driving or are we just gonna stroll up to the store?"
Roman smiled and said, "Well kid, since you brought up walking." Oro sighed, "Damnit." He placed the staff on his hip, where it collapsed and clasped to his belt, a small flame on the end of the staff being absorbed by him. 'I love this fucking thing.' He thought to himself and stepped outside after Roman, into the alleyway behind the store, Dust Till Dawn. He let the goons enter and fill the store, before he followed suit, mask still covering his face. He remained by Roman's side and looked at the grunts, "Be careful with that dust, you don't wanna end up an icepop." He said, and Roman started to shake down the store owner, that is until a grunt flew by him, "Ugh, troublesome." Oro sighed and watched a small crimson and black clad girl fly past him and he grabbed her by the hood. "Shouldn't children mind their own business?" He asked and tossed her outside, the smaller girl landing on her ass. He smiled and tossed roman a dust canister full of shock dust, "I'll take care of little red." He lept out the window and saw the girl now standing with a massive scythe and he smiled, "Huntress in training?" She gave a curt nod and swung the monstrous scythe towards him, and he extended his staff in response, catching it on the metal shaft. He lowered the end and bopped her chest, before he activated the fire dust at the end, blasting her face a little and leaving it covered in soot, her aura protecting her hair and face.
Her face was blackened from some soot and he chuckled a bit. earning a glare from her, "Come on, its funny." He then used his staff to bop her forehead, pretty hard, knocking her off balance. He smiled and advanced on her, tripping her and making her fall on her ass, "Now, little reaper, stay down and I won't have to do any harm." She grunted, swinging her scythe and tripping him, he landed on his ass and glared at her as she chuckled. "Oh really?" Then retracted her scythe before firing a shot at his mask, cracking the dust infused steel, causing ot to chip. "No, you're the bad guy. I'm not gonna just sit by and watch." He groaned and then said, "Come on, I spent most of this week making this thing." He shifted his body with a simple turn of his hips and the staff smacked into her wrist and made her drop her scythe. She stood, once more expanding her full scythe, and she rushed him, a trail of petals behind her as she did.
He leapt back and swept his staff, a small line of fire pouring out and once again hitting her. It was more to irritate her, so he wasn't gonna hurt her, then he heard Roman. "Kid, time to go." The man called out and Oro sighed, "See you later, pequeña reaparición." He smiled and ran off before he saw a swirl of rose petals pass him, and the girl appeared before him, scythe once in hand. "So eager to take me in, sorry, but I've got a flight to catch." He used his semblance to let out a stream of heat from his right hand, making her sluggish and uncomfortable. He kept his palm trained on her and sprinted up to where Roman was, and had to angle his hand away from her before he climbed up. Unfortunately for him he was caught by a mysterious lavender force and he couldn't wriggle out, "Shit, that's Goodwitch's semblance." He muttered and soon his eyes found her, and she looked professionally pissed off. "Boss, cane hook, now!" He yelled as his boss aimed his cane's handle towards him and it fired like a grappling hook.
He reached out and grabbed it, while Roman retracted it and the hook yanked him free of the telekinetic grasp. He let go at the top of the roof, just as Cinder got there in the stolen bullhead. Roman jumped up on it, just in time for the two women to make it up onto the roof and he aimed his palm af the ground, heating up the gravel roof and he smacked his staff into it, launching smoldering rocks at the two. He leapt i to the bullhead, cinder had picked up the goons and dust first, and they began to get away. Fortunately the two ladies weren't expecting his hot rock assault, and were trying to get the small flames on their outfits put out. He chuckled and buckled up, seeing the teacher scolding the small girl before he sighed and sat back. "How much Cinder?" He looked to the cockpit and she replied, "Fourty thousand lien worth of Dust."
"I'm pleased with the results." She said and smiled a bit at him and the others, "Plus no one was arrested, tonight was a success!" Roman said happily and then added, "Drinks on me!" Oro sighed and said, "Actually I promised Neo some ice cream, and I don't intend on waking with her holding that umbrella to my throat again." He chuckled softly, the airship dipping down and he jumped out, rolling as he hit the ground and he made it to his destination, a convenience store, keeping his mask on. He walked in, grabbing a couple pints of ice cream, two neopolitan and one rocky road, he payed for the frozen treats with a ten lien note and left. He sped his way through the backstreets, removing his mask and clipping it beside his staff. He slipped into the shop and found Neo napping, curled up in his jacket, he sighed a little, placing the ice cream in the break room fridge. He gently picked up the pint sized assassin with ease, her arms wrapping around him unconsciously.
He carried her into the upstairs apartment and slowly pulled his jacket off of her, kissing her forehead as he laid her in her bed, "Sweet dreams." He left a small note on the table and left on his bike, making it home just two minutes before his midnight curfew. He smiled and slipped into bed, deciding to bathe in the morning, he sighed and plugged his scroll in and went to sleep, dreaming of flames, an array of small flares, each a different color. The two that stuck in his mind were silver and a deep cerulean in color, burning brightly beside one another.
