Arthur tried to see what was binding him to the ground, but found nothing.
"Merlin?" Arthur said as he looked back up at Merlin.
Merlin was still staring, but not at Arthur. Merlin was staring at something right behind Arthur.
Arthur started to look around for something to help move. He noticed a rope on the floor and reached for it. When Arthur tugged at the rope to help him move a loud screeching noise came from behind him. He let go of the rope and turned his head to see the source of the noise.
Right behind Arthur was a gigantic, yellow lion-eagle creature turning to meet Arthur's eyes. Arthur started to panic, and started pulling at his legs again as if he had been let go at the sight of the creature. The creature screeched again at Arthur in anger.
