Tokka who invent BeastlyRavens, Thanks for being the first person to favorite one of my stories! And thanks to the guest reviewer for my first review. This one's dedicated to you two!

The sun peeked out from behind the city smog forcing my weary eyes open. My muscles were stiff and some unseen force weighed me down. Even so, it didn't take much for me to realize Beast Boy and I had slept in my car and the warmth against my waist informed me of our uncompromising position.

Using my powers, I phased out of his arms and sat up properly in my seat. A yawn forced its way out as I stretched in the morning light. Beast Boy shifted noisily, most likely from the sudden absence of heat. He still wore the ring Cyborg had given him in order to conceal his identity from the civilians.

He looked foreign to me. It was…strange, for lack of better word, to see him with pale, peach colored skin and sandy blonde hair instead of the typical green hues. Even his cute fang had vanished…wait, cute?

I tore my eyes away from his sleeping figure, forcing myself into reality. Garfield was a lot of things, but cute? Grant it, he had matured a lot since the unfortunate incident with my father, but I could NOT see him any differently than usual, lest risk destroying all of earth due to my uncontrollable emotions…

Then it dawned on me. I had allowed myself to feel more than usual and nothing blew up. My tire didn't explode. Not even a twig had snapped. Maybe things were changing for me. Changing for the better. I smiled contently and permitted myself to chance a second glance the sleeping figure to my left. The intensifying light had no affect on him, as he simply curled against the window with his arm against the back of the seat, somewhat offering me to rejoin him in our previous position.

I decided to test out the new control I had over my emotions by moving closer to his side. Carefully I eased myself against his chest. I knew the full extent of how heavy a sleeper he was, but I still found myself catching my breath in my throat. I finally reached my destination and rested my head slightly under his chin. He was snoring so lightly it almost sounded like purring, which wouldn't surprise me due to the circumstances.

"You just couldn't resist me, could you?" he murmured.

A loud crash sounded as a tree toppled over just ten meters away. A furious blush consumed my face at being caught.

"I-I was just…W-well…Y-you were asleep!" I stammered trying to form a logical sentence in futile attempts. My heart was begging to be freed from the confines of my ribcage and lurched into my throat, making speech excruciatingly painful if not impossible.

"Relax, Rae," his arm tried to slink around my waist and pull me against him once more, all the while he snickered at my embarrassment. I slapped his hand away and phased out of the car entirely.

Standing at the ledge I debated whether or not to leave him right then and there. It wouldn't do any good, I concluded. We still have to live together. It would just create awkwardness between us if I left now. Instead I took to leaning against the hood of the car, waiting for him to join me.

"I was just teasing you, Rae…" I sensed his anxiety, "I didn't mean to embarrass you…not this much anyway."

He gave a short nervous chuckle and waited for patiently for my forgiveness.

"I know Beast Boy." I sighed, "I let myself get worked up for nothing, anyway. Can we…Can we just forget this ever happened?"

I craned my neck to see him watching my with his head tilted slightly as a puppy when observing a strange new object.

"Sure," he shrugged, "We should probably get back to the tower. Everyone's probably wondering where we are."

This one was pretty short, but hopefully I will be able to continue it. Any advice on how to improve my writing and descriptions is greatly appreciated! Thanks to those who took time to read (:
