"I've been fine Kaoru-dono. That I have." Shortly after Kagome served everyone their food.
Kenshin quickly got to eating after saying his prayers.
Kaoru glared at Kagome for interrupting her and Kenshin's conversation and for being such a good cook.
Dinner was finished with and Kaoru was reluctant to leave knowing that Kagome was probably going to try to seduce her precious Kenshin.
She tried to delay as much as possible but all to soon they kicked her out.
She walked home feeling slightly dejected.
Meanwhile Kenshin was helping Kagome clean up from dinner.
As they were washing the dishes Kagome accidently splashed him.
His face got the brunt of the unexpected attack.
Kagome looked at him for about ten seconds before she burst into laughter.
Kenshin glared at her mockingly before coming up with the brilliant idea to splash her back.
He ended up soaking the front of her shirt making it mold to her form quite nicely.
She looked down at her moist form with shock written across her face.
Slowly her head rose and she stared at Kenshin with a look of pure murder.
