Kate and Mike went to Fiji for their Honeymoon, Kat and Swaine took turns in looking after the kids since Hope was best friends with Chloe. They were gone for 3 weeks before coming back to Cairns to go on with their life's this time as a happily married couple.
Kate and Mike arrived home just after midnight exhausted from the trip they went straight to bed. It was early morning when Kate's phone began to ring she leant over Mike carefully to not wake up as she grabbed her phone
"No…" Mike said softly gripping her around the waist
"It's Commander White" Kate said as she answered her phone
'Kate...' Commander White began saying
'Let me guess Hammersley has been crash sailed' Kate said interrupting her
'Sorry, I know you only just got back from your Honeymoon'
'It's ok... What time are we set to leave?' Kate asked looking at the alarm clock it read 04:30am
'06:00, I'll contact the rest of the crew',
'Yes Ma'am' Kate said hanging up the phone and placing it on the bedside table as she went to move out of Mike's embrace.
"Crash sailed?" Mike said as he sat up in the bed
"Yeah, sorry" she said kissing his cheek softly
"I'll put some coffee on for you" he said moving out of the bed as Kate made her way to the ensuite he couldn't help but stare, Kate turned around and caught him in the act
"No, I don't have time" she said smiling as he made his way over to her and gripped her waist tight
"5 minutes" Mike said leaning in and kissing her softly and maneuverer them towards the bathroom.
Kate arrived at the docks just after 05:00 ready to start taking inventory and sort things out for Patrol. When she arrived on board Hammersley Kat was on the bridge doing her watch
"Kate, when did you get back?" Kat asked surprised not expecting her to be back so early
"Just after midnight, Then Maxine called said we've been crash sailed" Kate said smiling at Kat.
When Kate made her way down to her cabin to get settled in Kat pulled out her cell phone and sent a message to unknown number
'Abort their home early change of plans, I'll contact you after Patrol' less than a minute later her phone went off
'I won't wait any longer, you've got one more chance' Kat put her phone away when she heard voices making their way up onto the Bridge.
"Hey Kat" 2Dad's and Charge said as they began to check things over for the patrol
"Hey guys, you ok to watch things while I go down to get a quick Brew?" she said hoping off the chair
"Absolutely, bring us one back" Charge said smiling
"Sure thing" Kat said as she made her way down to the galley taking a quick detour to her cabin to put her phone in her hiding spot.
As far as everyone knew Kat didn't own a proper phone just a little flip one she used for work. Bird was making her way towards the galley when she heard a strange noise coming from her cabin she shared with Kat she made her way in closing the door behind her as she tried to find where the noise was coming from, she looked up at the vent and noticed it had been jimmied open Bird reached for the chair as she placed it under the vent standing on it to open the vent she pulled out something that felt like a phone.
She pulled the object out to reveal it was a phone she opened it to reveal the latest message which read 'You owe us this is happening when we decide no more waiting for you' Bird heard footsteps approaching her cabin so she put the phone back and quickly ducked into the bathroom as the footsteps passed by she left her cabin to do her watch wondering why Kat would be hiding a secret phone especially in the air vents, and who was she messaging.
