Chapter 2:
Currently, we're in Stillwater, Minnesota. We plan to stay here for a while, to do some research, to see if there are any theories on wizards. That's where we get most of our leads.
As we've learned from past experience, we kind of need to sign up for high school. When we lived in Phoenix, we almost got arrested for not going to school. So now, wherever we go, we sign up for school. Jack and Kate are both nineteen, so they're out of school. They'll probably just start researching.
Helen and I are both sophomores, while Jason is a freshman and Jenny is a senior. The first half of the day seemed to drag on forever. While I was in the hallway, this guy bumped into me.
"Hi. You must be new. My name's Josh." He said.
"Yeah, I am new here. My name's Annie. I'm a sophomore." I replied.
"Me too. What's your next class?"
"Umm," I said while looking at my schedule, "Honors English."
"That's my nest class. Come on, I'll show you show you where it is."
Josh took me down the hall and upstairs to English class. When we walked in, I saw that Helen was in my class too. Our teacher had a very droning voice, and I tried all I could not to fall asleep.
"Is class normally this dull?" I asked Josh as we were walking out.
"No, not usually. She was a substitute." He replied.
"Bye, I have to go home. My brother will be expecting me."
"Bye Annie. It was nice meeting you."
