Ehm, I apologize for bringing my crossover into this story. But I had to. I got the idea, so I wrote it.
The Elric brothers are from FMA, and I do not own that either.
Next is Tom Marvelo Riddle :)
Edward Elric swore in frustration when his quill wouldn't write anything. Stupid magic. They couldn't do anything the proper way, with pens, not feathers that got blots of ink everywhere.
And now this.
"Damn it!" He had to write this down, but now the code was all unraveling in his mind... And this stupid thing just wouldn't write!
He slammed the quill on the table, then stared at it in astonishment when it broke in two.
Owl feathers didn't break like that. This is...
He brought his coated finger to his mouth, sniffed at it, then hesitantly licked it.
Yes. It was sugar.
Again, he looked down at the quill, then finally picked it up and munched on it, thinking. Sweet, but not sickeningly so. Delicious even.
And he laughed, grinned so wide that his usual scowl would be forgotten and never remembered again.
"Hey, Al!" he called. "You have to try this..."
And Alphonse Elric too learned the delights of the sugar quill.
