Mary Sue's Point of View (II) – ADVANCED ^_^
By Zilent1-~ O.K. This is the proper thing. :-) If a similar story of this has been previously written, I'm sorry. (Too many pages to search through) -_-; ~-
Mary Sue was an ordinary, 16-year-old girl with an ability to magically change appearance, age and somehow be transported to the middle of nowhere etc, with help from a pen or keyboard. She hated this life – clichés, love-at-first-sight, damsel-in-distress/warrior woman – were not her sort of thing.
One evening, Mary was attending her Senior Ball and was having the time of her life dancing away with her boyfriend when a sudden, yet familiar, mist appeared out of nowhere and enveloped her. She groaned.
'Just when I was having fun!!'
After ten minutes of yelling, and a bit of silence, the ground gave way and she fell to her unknown destination. She was preparing to land on solid hard ground when, to her surprise, landed in…
'a RIVER!?!? Damn you!' She shouted, shaking her fists at the sky.
The water was calm and shallow enough to stand up in, so Mary stood and looked at her newfound look. She rolled her eyes. In place of her mousy brown, shoulder length hair she had flaming, waist length, red hair. Her glasses were gone and she now had bright, emerald green eyes.
'Very original. Wonder what my name is,' she muttered sarcastically.
Just then she heard a whispered voice across the breeze, using her sharp hearing.
You are Maegerëiel…'Nice name,' she muttered, again, sarcastically.
She waded towards land as fast as she could but was weighed down by her ball gown.
'Oh! Thank you! There goes five hundred bloody dollars out the window!'
She arrived on shore, dripping wet, and recognised four familiar figures, guarding four others, with their weapons aimed at the approaching figure of Mary. When they saw her, they lowered their weapons and went into a full scale 'Question War'. She sighed, arms crossed, and answered every question briefly, words flying out of her mouth.
-Surely they would've gotten use to this whole, clichéd thing!- she thought to herself.
When they declared her safe, they invited her back to their camp. She seated herself in a position where she could see everybody clearly. She looked at each person (or creature…whatever), lingering her gaze for a while on each but studied the blonde elf a little longer. He, too, was looking at her, but in a loving sort of way. Mary noticed this. She smacked her forehead, shook her head and muttered….
'Not again!'
Her clichéd adventure with the Fellowship had re-begun.
End.
-~ Please don't flame me! I'm only having fun. I like Mary Sue stories!! But nonetheless – please review!! ^_^ (o_o) ( o_o ) (o_o) ( ) ~-
