"Welcome. Welcome to City 17."
Tanner Nova looked up at the giant screen of Dr. Breen He must be their leader. A turaga of sorts, he thought, doesn't look like he did a very good job though. He looked around the station. This place could use some work. Everything looked old and decayed. Better be careful. One loose spark could burn this building down.
Meet Tahu Nuva. Toa of fire. Leader of the Toa on the island of Mata Nui. But everyone around him doesn't know that. They see Tanner Nova, middle aged American who's only exemplifying feature is the backpack he smuggled through the station. He glances at his ticket. Apartment building 7, floor 3, room 2. He hurried over to the building.
His room was very plain, with an uncovered bed, desk, and a television. Not bad for a room that will soon be our base of operations. He took the radio out of his bag and placed it on the desk. After finding a plug, he turned on the radio. "Tanner to Gina, are you there?"
"Ready and waiting" replied Gali.
"Good. When you get off the train, head to Apartment building seven. I will meet you outside."
"Great. Over and out."
Tahu hid the radio. All of a sudden, something awful struck him. What if the Combine can monitor radio waves? He suddenly heard a knocking on the door. "Civil Protection! Open up at once!" came a muffled voice from behind the door. Tahu reached for the bag and pulled out his mask. No sooner did he put on the mask than the Metrocops bust down the door, stun sticks in hand. Although Tahu had no weapons, he was the one with the advantage the mask of shielding protected him from the stun sticks while he freely threw blows at the Metrocops. Soon they were all down. Tahu reactivated the radio. "Gali…no, Gina! Our message has been intercepted! Go straight into the building, and follow my distress signal! Tahu, out." He really didn't care for formalities at this point. He just packed up the radio and the mask, threw the bag over his shoulder, and ran for his life.
