CHAPTER TWO: SHE'S HERE
VALENTINE'S DAY
Artemis snook out of the cafeteria and quickly walked over to the courtyard. Once he was outside he walked over to the single bench out in the middle of the yard. He sat down and waited. The place was quiet and empty.
It was cold and and cloudy that day. It looked like it was going to rain.
Suddenly a little human looking figure materialized next to Artemis on the bench. He jumped a little but quickly relaxed.
"I saw you jump mud boy." She said with a smile.
"You're wearing your section 8 suit I presume. I didn't see any hazes."
"Yep. What are you doing here?" Asked Holly.
"I was waiting for my valentine but she just arrived. Poppy."
Holly's smile disappeared and she got nervous. "Yeah I wanted to meet you because... There's something I need to tell you." She said.
"What's wrong Holly?"
"Nothing's wrong Artemis. Let me show you." She then leaned up and kissed him. On the lips. Artemis was shocked. He was still shocked when Holly pulled away.
"Artemis I-"
Then Artemis leaned down and kissed Holly. She kissed back. This one was a little longer than the last.
"Love you." Finished Holly with a smile.
"I love you too." He said.
They just kinda sat there in awkward silence. A minute later Artemis spoke.
"Well I should get back before anyone notices I'm missing." He then stood up.
"You'll be at the manor tomorrow right?" Asked Holly.
"Yes. And yes I would love for you to come over."
Holly smiled. "You know me to well. See you later then." She then disappeared.
"Goodbye Holly." Artemis said then he walked back to his next class.
Holly was still sitting there on the bench watching him walk away. She sighed one of those dreaming sighs then got up and left. She couldn't wait until tomorrow.
