It was funny how life could change so fast.
Aelita blinked. There was a blond haired boy with glasses gawking at her. It was only after a few moments that he managed to choke out, "Hello."
She blinked again and was surrounded by monsters, fighting alongside Ulrich and Odd.
Another blink, another scene pulled out of her flashing life. She was curled up on her bed, sobbing from a nightmare.
Aelita blinked a few more times. So much had happened since he'd rescued her from the supercomputer.
And, to Aelita, it had happened in the blink of an eye.
