'Demon Thoughts'
Previously: Naruto had succeeded in stopping the fighting on the bridge just as Gatou showed up with a small army of thugs.
Zabuza: "Son of a bitch." he sees the small army of thugs. They were being led by Gatou, whose arm was in a cast and sling. But he then sees that there were a few shinobi among them, all with slashed hitai-ate.
Kakashi: "Damn, he's got the worst timing" he quickly dismisses his summons and pulls out a pair of kunai.
Zabuza: "Ya, no shit" he turns to the army as he tries to move his arms, he couldn't. He drops his sword in front of him, making the ground break and crack from the weight of the sword. "Kakashi," he begins biting through the bandages around his face, "throw me a kunai. There's no way in hell that I'll go down without a fight."
Naruto: "No way are you two going to fight with those injuries, sigh I guess I'll fight them." he walks to intercept the army, but is stopped by Kakashi.
Kakashi: "Naruto, you don't stand a chance right now, well retreat for now and rest." he began to cover his Sharingan eye as he puts away his kunai.
Naruto: "They won't give us the chance to rest if we all retreat Kakashi, we all know this" smoke starts to come off his legs as he turns towards the thugs. In a quick spark, his legs go up in flames. "You guys rest, I'll stop them...or at least decrease their numbers." he jumps away, covering the entire distance.
Zabuza: "That kids a brave one…or a crazy one" he sits next to Haku to watch, it was then that he noticed the blush adorning Haku's face.
Kakashi: "Maybe both.." he tenses to step in if things got out of hand.
--With Naruto--
Gatou: "I want you all to kill them!" his army cheered in approval and begin drawing their weapons. "NOW, AT.." he was about to give the order, until Naruto landed in front of them. He just looked at the kid. 'They sent a kid to stop my army?' he asks himself, as he turns around and looks at his army. "They think a midget kid can stop my army!" his army cheered, preparing to kill him. "THEY THINK THAT ONE KID CAN KI…"
He never finished. In one motion, Naruto did a roundhouse kick at Gato's head and crushed/burned his skull. The half of Gato's face that took the kick was severally burned and on the opposite side of his head, you could see broken bone pocking out of his face. The army of thugs looked at the kid, who was glaring right at them.
Naruto: "You got five seconds to leave before I kill you all" the flames on his legs flaring up as he stares the thugs down with eyes that held no motion.
Missing Nin 1: "Ha! You really think that we're just going to leave. I don't know who you think you are but there's is no way you can beat me. I was a Jounin of Hidden Stone before I left." He turns to the others. "He's nothing but a Genin, there's no way he can take on all of us by himse..." he was cut off as his head was crushed into his body from a downwards kick.
--With Kakashi and the other's--
Sasuke had just begun to wake up with Sakura crying over him. He pushed her off even though he was sore throughout his body. That was when he turned and saw Zabuza and his partner resting with Kakashi standing next to them. He noticed that they were watching the unfinished end of the bridge. Sakura had seemed to notice too and also turned. Both of their eyes widened as the say Naruto nearly behead a tiny man in a suit with nothing but a kick.
Sakura: "Is that really Naruto?" She got no answer as she then saw Naruto then crush a Jounin level missing nin's into his body.
--With Naruto--
Naruto: "As I said, you've got five seconds, five" he takes a step forward and the thugs flinch, even more since the strongest nin that they had with them was taken out so easily; "Four" he begins crouching slightly, "Three" the thugs start to move back, some beginning to sweat, "Two" Naruto says as flames start to circle around his body.
Random Thug: "RUN FOR IT!" the thugs began to move back and run.
Naruto: "One……" the flames begin circling his body and collect around his right leg. He leaps straight up into the air with his right leg bent in front of him as to do a thrust kick.
Naruto: "FLAME BASE: FIRESTORM!" he kicks forward repeatedly. Naruto's leg looks like nothing but a blur as fireballs seem to begin raining from his leg onto the thugs that couldn't get away.
Naruto then stopped and pulled his leg upwards as a giant ball of fire began to grow out of the sole of his foot. Once it got to the size of a two story house he began to swing his leg towards the last of the thugs that got to the end of the bridge and began to jump onto the ship they used to get to the bridge.
Naruto: "FLAME BASE: METEOR!" it began growing in size as it flies at the ship. Some of the them began to jump of the ship in hopes of being safe in the water. It was not to be. The second the fireball made contact with the ship in exploded. The ship was literally disintegrated from the intense heat of the blast. Those in the water were instantly boiled alive from the heat of the explosion. All the water with 100 yards of the explosion was instantly turned to steam.
All anyone could see from the bridge were the giant waves of water that was pushed back from the explosion. It looked that all the water was still being held back by the leftover force of the explosion. It they were able to get to a certain height, they would easily be able to see the very bottom.
--With Naruto--
Naruto: "Damn, didn't think it was that strong" the flames on his legs died down as he landed on the bridge. He turns around and walks back towards the group, shaking slightly. 'I over did it' as he tries to make himself stop shaking. He, also, tries to not think about the burning feeling through out his body.
Naruto: 'Bye-Bye, Jutsu…' When he meets up with them, he sees Kakashi and Zabuza looking at him. He sees Sakura tending to, a now conscious, Sasuke's wounds, even though he was saying he was fine, while Haku looked to be asleep. "They're gone now, along with Ga…….to" he collapses from exhaustion.
--Time Skip--Several Hours Later--
Naruto: "Owwwww, my head….Huh?" he sits up, finding himself in a bed. He looks around and sees Sasuke and Sakura asleep across the room. Zabuza was sitting up in the corner, his arms wrapped up in bandages and in slings. He tries to find Kakashi and Haku, but doesn't see them.
Zabuza: "There down stairs" he finally looked up to see the blond eyes scanning the room.
Naruto: "I understand Kakashi, but what about Haku-ch.." he stops as he realizes that he was about to say "Chan".
Zabuza: (chuckle) "Don't worry, Haku told me what you said"
Naruto: (blush) "I uhhhhh.." he tries to make a reason for why he said it
Zabuza: "You like her, don't you?" thou he already knows the answer since he could see the blush that adorned both of the teens faces when they were near each other.
Naruto: "Ya, even when she said she was a he" he was grinning sheepishly as he rubs the back of his head. He winces slightly when he moves his arm, but tries not to show it.
Zabuza: "I don't care if you like her, but there's something you should know about her, it's why she says she's a boy" Naruto becomes serious quickly, "The reason she says she's a boy is because she wants people to take her seriously, sense most ninja don't take Kunoichi as a serious threat…" 'especially with Kunoichi like pinky over there' "……and that she doesn't want creepy men to try to pick her up all the time" Naruto couldn't help to laugh at the last part. (Somewhere, a man that looks like a snake sneezes'. (coughOrochimarucouch))
Naruto: "Ya, with ninja like Sakura walking around with headbands, I can see why" he was unknowingly thinking the same thing that Zabuza thought on said...girl.
Zabuza: "Hahaha, So you know if you want to start a relationship with her, people will think you're gay" he laughs again as Naruto deadpans at how differently the man acted as to before, but quickly recovers.
Naruto: "I can deal with it…" this surprises Zabuza, but he catches him mumbling.
Zabuza: "What was that about a Pink Haired man-like girl..?" Naruto tries to hold back his laughter
Naruto: "I can always say I had a crush Sakura because she looked like a guy with her unfeminine looks." he falls on his side, trying not to laugh.
Zabuza: "That's cruel…(chuckles) But very funny" Naruto was able to hold his laughter back and sat up again.
Naruto: "But seriously, I don't care if they think I'm gay with Haku….I like her a lot" He then feels hug him from behind. He turns his head and sees Haku hugging him. He began to blush as she presses up against him.
Zabuza: "I was right, you don't like her…" before Naruto says anything he finishes, "..You're in love with her."
