The next day, after training, Sakura goes to Ino's house.
Ino had forgotten to put her diary back in her drawer and left it on her dressing table.
"Hey…what this?" Sakura asked as she went close to it. "Ooh…your diary?? I'm reading it!"
"No wait! Sakura don't -!" Ino tried to stop her, but it was too late.
She could see Sakura's expression change and closed her eyes and put her head down.
Ino could hear Sakura's footsteps as she walked closer to her. She knew she was going to get beat up or something like that.
"Sakura…I'm sorry…I didn't mean to -"
Ino was cut off when she felt soft pink lips upon hers.
When she opened her eyes, she realized it was Sakura who was kissing her.
She instantly melted into the kiss.
After Sakura let go of her, she started to ask Sakura questions in a very confused tone.
"Sakura…I don't understand…why did you…? I mean…aren't you in love with some -"
Ino was cut off again when Sakura started to speak "Yeah...I guess I forgot to tell you that the person I was in love with was you…"
Sakura smiled as she said this.
"Sakura…" Ino said as she embraced Sakura.
The two girls kissed for a second time, this one being more passionate and longer than the last.
After the two came apart for air, Ino said, "So does this mean we're a couple now?"
"I guess so" Sakura replied.
Silence.
"Wanna go to our favourite spot?" Sakura asked.
"Sure" Ino said, as she smiled.
The two girls walked out of the house, hand in hand, as a couple.
