Hello again my dudes, and welcome to the second chapter. I don't own any of these characters, blah, blah, you guys know the spiel. Now, please, enjoy.
Chapter Two
Agent Romanoff
Natasha found this assignment a little weird, but she did not question her captain. She had never had to find and capture an 18 year old before. This guy named Perseus Jackson, apparently SHIELD had about nothing on him, so it was her job to bring him in for questioning.
For a kid who has escaped SHIELD eyes for seven years, he wasn't that careful. Natasha found him with only a little work. From a security camera, she saw him enter Good High School. Huh, she assumed, for some reason that this kid wouldn't go to school. Yet here he was, walking in with a backpack and everything. Natasha probably should have waited, but she set course for the school. This kid would be easy enough to extract, find his classroom, wait for him to use the bathroom, and get him on his way out.
She leapt off the roof she was on and landed onto the fire escape, sprinting down the steps. Natasha called for a taxi, and drove to the high school this boy went to. From background knowledge Furry had given her, Paul Blofis was Perseus Jackson's English teacher, he was also his step-dad. Natasha got out of the taxi and changed into a different color jacket and baseball cap. Swiftly walking, she walked to the side of the building, looking into windows as she walked by. When she rounded the corner, she reached the gym area. This school had a football field, baseball field, and a couple tennis courts. Natasha spotted a class outside, scanning the kids' faces until she sound Jackson.
He had black hair, sea green eyes, and was wearing the school's gym uniform. Jackson was currently running down the football field at full speed, ball in hand. He reached the end zone and all of his teammates yelled in happiness, the coach walked over announcing "Blue team wills, now go hit the showers!" The blue team walked away proudly, whilst the red team sulked off.
Jackson joined his teammates until he stopped suddenly, tensing up. He told the teacher he forgot his jacket and rushed back to the field. He looked over to the gym doors as if to check if everyone was inside, then he did a slow 360 of his surroundings. Romanoff slid into the shadow of the building, determined not to get seen. Apparently he didn't see anything because he walked hesitantly back to the school. Though he didn't reach those doors.
"Perseus Jackson, you're coming with me, the easy way or the hard way." He groaned.
"Seriously," He looked to the sky. "Can't you just give me one normal day. Ugh, you Fates have pushed me hard enough!" Natasha thought he was crazy, but still, Furry wanted him. I must have looked at him weird. "Wait, are you not a monster?"
"No."
"Great, then let me go."
"No."
"Well I guess we have a problem then, don't we?" he responded, getting into a fighting stance.
"No, actually we don't. Clint?" Something flew towards Perseus from high a tree. As the object flew into him, a look of recognition came upon his face. He stumbled backwards, tripped on a rock and fell onto the concrete sidewalk. Impossible, he started to get back up, that tranq dart should have taken him out in seconds. He got into a fighting stance, but immediately fell back down, out cold. "Furry. We got him."
Percy
He woke up with a pounding headache, Percy heard someone yelling in another room. Percy was in an all white room, he tried to lift his hands to his temples, but found his hands securely tied down to the table he was on. Crap, this is not good. How long has he been out? Is his mother worried? He looked around for possible escape roots, but found none. Nothing else was in his all white room, except a mirror that he suspected was one way glass. Percy looked right at it and winked, someone choked on their drink from the other side. Points to Percy.
Suddenly, the wall opposite him slid open revealing two people. That woman from before, and a man in a lab coat, most likely a doctor or scientist. Percy kept his poker face. He wanted it to look like he didn't even acknowledge Lab Coat and Red Head. Red Head stayed behind at the door/wall and the Lab Coat came forward.
"Incredible, Nat, how is he awake?" he asked mesmerized. "It's only been a few hours." Good, it's only been a few hours. If Percy blew this joint now, he could get home in time for a late diner. Though, knowing his mother, he knew she was already worrying. That's when something terrible happened.
The air around him shimmered, "You are getting a call from Sally Jackson, upstate New York." Everyone's eyes widened, Percy's more out of fear. "Would you like to pay now or later."
"No! Don't answer!" he yelled.
"Later it is then." the voice answered. Sally Jackson's face materialized in front of him.
"Perseus. Where. Are. You." she asked pronouncing each word, very carefully. She noticed me violently shaking my head. Her eyes widened and she swiped her hand through the mist. Thank gods she understood.
"Uh, w-what was that?" Lab Coat asked.
"Er, well, um." He did not know how to answer so he just shut his mouth.
"W-well okay then, I'm just going t-to check your vitals." He checked a few machines, my heart beat and some needles sticking out of my arm. Lab Coat and Red Head left in a hurry. Huh, wonder why?
