Crimson Tears and Bloody Rain
Summary: A two-part poem on Ichigo and Rukia's thoughts on the last battle of the Winter War and death. Told from both Ichigo and Rukia's point of view. Warnings: Violence and character deaths.
Falling,
Fading,
Lights going dim.
A careless smirk,
Above.
Raw Power.
Strength.
Ends a grin.
And the Hyena flees.
Falling,
Thump.
Crash.
Tears,
And Rain.
Sorrow flows.
Vision blurs,
Colors mix.
A silent scream.
Red.
Falling Rain.
Guilt,
And Sorrow,
Tears pour down.
Red,
Cloaks everything,
Then washes away.
Darkness coming.
Pain long gone.
The Candle flickers,
The Scissors pause.
Then Power's out,
Rushing,
Running,
Spreading away.
Heavy.
The Darkness beckons.
Turn and face,
The other side.
Turn to the Past,
Those of the Living.
Turn back once more,
Smile sadly,
At the ones,
Left behind.
Silent Tears,
Wet the ground.
A mouth screams,
A silent howl.
Red:
Is Gone.
Heat,
No more.
The Black Sun has Gone,
The Moon won't Shine.
Gone,
Gone.
Darkness calls,
He must answer.
Once more he faces
The other way.
And leaves her,
(My name is not Shinigami,)
Behind.
(It's Rukia.)
In a flood,
Of Tears,
And Bloody Rain.
To Death.
