Terra rocketed out of the city. She didn't stop until she was at least a kilometre away from the city. She turned around and glanced at the buildings; she then looked at the T- shaped tower. "I'm sorry." She thought.

She travelled for a full several days, only stopping to rest and to purchase some food. She had no clue to where exactly she was going; she just wanted to get as far from Jump City as possible. She finally stopped when she was too tired to continue.

She had ended up in a city that she has never been to before."Hope I'm still in the states."She told herself. Terra silently walked through the streets in confusion, she hadn't yet made sense of the street names. She tried to ask for directions, but everyone was too busy to give a girl directions. She eventually came to the waterfront, and sat on a rock. She started to skip stones, remembering her times with the Titans. She sighed."I hope they can still forgive me." She didn't want to admit it, but she longed for company; a true friend. Though she always told herself "don't get too attached, it never lasts long anyways."

For the next few minutes, Terra sat there quietly; examining the waves and continuing to skip stones. She finally got up, and she shivered at the cool breeze outside. "Better go find somewhere to stay for the night" she muttered.

Terra walked over to the bus station. She was about to walk into the vehicle, when she stood there frozen. She realized she didn't have any money.
"Day just keeps getting better and better" she whispered sarcastically, as she walked out of the bus;embarrassed. Terra walked through the avenues nervously. She didn't quite know the crime rate here, in fact, she didn't know anything about this city. She found a small alley where she decided to stay the night."Some luxury" she said sarcastically, as she tried to sit comfortably. She looked up at the stars."It's beautiful up there tonight" she said; her voice hushed. She tried to keep a keen eye, just in case someone came to threaten her. Not that she couldn't kick their butt.

She was about to snooze off, when a giant truck zoomed by, and splashed mud all over her. A random kid was watching, and he began to laugh his head off. Terra was not amused.
"STOP LAUGHING AT ME!" She screamed. She splashed the remaining mud from the puddle on the young boy. The boy starred in horror, and ran away crying.
"WHAT? YOU'VE NEVER SEEN SOMEONE WITH POWERS BEFORE?" Terra froze in her tracks as she just realized she made a kid cry.
"Aww great." She said, though she truly felt sorry for the boy.

Terra spent the majority of the night trying to get all of the mud off of herself, she was too sleepy to realize she could just use her powers to take it off. "I really need to get some sleep" she said wearily. But how could she? She was lost in a strange town, faced with strange new places, and she didn't know if the people here were friendly or not. "This is going to be a long night..." She said.

She soon realized it was a bad choice to spend the night in an alley. She closed her eyes, but soon felt little paws on her arm. She shot her eyes open, and noticed a rat was sniffing her."AHH! Get off!" She said as she threw a rock at the small creature.

Later that night she heard a quiet meow from behind a dumpster. A black cat approached her quietly.
"Do you know where I can get a good midnight snack?" She asked the cat. She reached over to pet it;that was a mistake. The cat screeched and scratched Terra's arm.
"OWW! DUMB CAT!" She shouted.

Morning broke, and Terra managed to find a few dollars. She bought herself a bag of chips. The store clerk chuckled when Terra asked him where the chips were. When she found the aile, she grabbed the first bag she saw and payed for them.
"I hope they're barbeque." She said. She decided to go to whatever Main Street there was in the town. She hailed a cab, and asked the driver to take her to Main Street.
"You're not from around here are you?" The driver asked. Terra giggled and nodded. When she got out, she was speechless at all of the flashing lights and signs of the city.
"Whoa, where do I even start?" She asked.

Terra had never seen a city like this before, and she wasn't quite sure if she liked the huge signs and lights everywhere.
"Maybe I can ask for some directions, I mean it's the only option I've got" she thought.
Terra walked through a sea of people, asking where she could stay, or if anyone were willing to take her in.
"This was a dumb idea" she thought.
Suddenly she saw a familiar face. It was the boy that she "accidentally" upset. He seemed to be walking with a tall man; a man who concealed half of his face with a bandanna. The boy seemed to not want to go where ever this man was taking him.
Terra was suspicious. "H- Hey you! With the kid! Can I talk with you?" she shouted. The man looked at Terra, and started running.
"Oh no you're not!" She said as she ran after him. The boy was screaming, he was confused if he should trust Terra; the girl who threw mud in his face, or the man that promised him a toy and candy.
Terra couldn't keep up with the man, her only option was to block him. Terra used her powers to float on a rock; doubling her speed. She managed to reach the boy.
"Take my hand!" she said. The boy refused.
"NO! YOU'RE MEAN!" He said.
"I'm sorry for that, I really am, but you need to take my hand, he isn't safe!"

"But he's gonna give me a toy and candy!"

"He's not going to! he lied!"The boy nodded and took Terra's hand.

"WEEEEEEEEEE!" the boy said joyfully, as they rode on the rock. The man turned a corner.
"You're not getting away!" she shouted. She threw a boulder in the man's direction; that was a mistake. The boulder knocked the man right off his feet, throwing him like a toy. Terra watched in horror.
"No...n-not again..." She whispered.
