-Yay! I'm back again! and like i said in the update, Sorry for the unexpected hiatus, the laptop that i was working on broke on me and one of my friends was kind enough to give me a full on Computer, to which my brother supplied me with a monitor, unfortunately, school came about and i had to do my best with all that
and then some personal things happened in the family and for a while i became a bit depressed, though that thankfully did not last that long. Unfortunately i lost a lot of motivation towards writing, which regretfully has stopped me for a few years and it's a bit shameful
I apologise to everyone who is still following me, i made you all wait this long and I shouldn't have.
Loud Pipes
It had been Twelve years.
...
Twelve years.
And never has he ever, been as bored as he was.
Sure he had been sealed into two other people in his long life, but those individuals acknowledged his existence, or in general KNEW about his occupation inside their own bodies. What made the situation worse was that Minato could not be there to explain the workings of the seal either, so information was limited to what had been experimented with in those twelve years.
It was also pretty irritating that the entire place looked like a sewer.
Back when he was sealed inside Kushina, he had an amazing set up. forest, big ass lake, and a decent mountain range, it was his own little paradise. The red head was even able to give him enough freedom to imagine little animals; like chickens or rabbits to hunt.
Oh yeah, the rabbit dreams... Good times.
In this new seal however, he was stuck in a cage, surrounded by bars and pipes and tasteless walls. A single tunnel past the bars leading into a darkness that he was unable to see into. At times, if Kurama looked through his minds eye and focused, the multi-tailed fox could see and hear what was going on around his current Jinchuuriki. Unfortunately, this did not apply to emotions she felt all the time.
Sadness, confusion, and neglect, the former of the three being the biggest and most common almost everyday, only to be forgotten on days where she spent time with the Sandaime Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, a man well past his prime and the successor to Minato Namikaze. Kurama's affinity for malevolent nature allowed him to feel dark emotions with clear intensity. While the skill was useless due to not being able to interact with his container directly, he would still use it to sense the intentions of those around her, and Hiruzen Held nothing but love and care for the girl, as if she was his own blood.
There were also a few others that did not feel ill-intent toward the girl; The Father-daughter duo who run the Ichiraku ramen stand, Teuchi and Ayame. The two strange Chuunin who usually sit in the guard post at the entrance of the village, Kotetsu and Izumo. One of the instructors at the academy Umino Iruka, however, he seemed more indifferent towards Naruto.
Minato's student also held no ill-will, but that was a given. Hatake Kakashi would always appear casually near the blonde if it seemed like she would need the help dealing with an ignorant villager, never too far away to protect her if need be.
Unfortunately, he couldn't always be there...
Kurama was just thankful nothing mentally scarring ever happened at those times.
There was one other person that for sure Kurama knew didn't hate or oppress the young girl's existence, one reason being he wasn't ignorant and knew the full fundamentals of sealing, the other being that he was her godfather. Jiraiya rarely ever appeared, at least, he concealed himself well enough for the fox not to be able to sense his presence from within the seal. When he did allow his presence to be known, he would watch from afar.
For years, the girl was watched by trustable people, always receiving presents on her birthday, saved by the shinobi like Kakashi or Iruka if necessary. However, there was still a hole for a while.
Everyone of those people who cared for the blonde haired girl had jobs and business to deal with, Kurama understood that, and so did Naruto, despite knowing that at a younger age than most children, and did not hold that against them when she found herself alone on most days... That is... until she met Itou Mitsuki at age six, the first real friend Kurama's container ever made.
Mitsuki was a young girl who had short white hair, violet colored eyes, naturally sharp canines, and a lithe body with minor but noticeable scars, memories she gained from her younger years with the Jinchuuriki. Mitsuki would always be seen wearing a significant red scarf, something the orphanage found her with when she was just a baby.
Much like Naruto, Mitsuki was also an orphan, as well as a delinquent, so when they first met, they hit off a bond right then and there.
See, certain people have mental urges called "Juvenile Tendencies." These urges can range from afflicting physical or mental trauma to a specific target, to an entire population of people due to planning or "out-the-ass" ideas.
When people of the same Juvenile tendencies meet, the result is called "Juvenile Synthesis," Usually, this Synthesis creates rivalries and friendships alike. That is what happened between Naruto and Mitsuki... Though technically, that was after meeting one another through a brawl that included both girls, eleven other kids, two chuunin and a tokubetsu-jounin
But that is a story for another time.
So, after meeting the other mischievous young girl, the emptiness began to fade and Naruto was living a socially healthy life for seven more years. Leaving the Orphanage at a young age due to prejudice of the tenants, Mitsuki apparently following soon after, Hiruzen giving them both apartments close to one another, probably due to the friendship between the girls.
Both girls joined the academy at the same time and everything was going smoothly, minus the still ignorant villagers and taking in the fact that Naruto felt that she needed to prove them wrong, which was not bad to have a dream, admirable and determined, but hard-headed and stubborn
That made Kurama proud.
However, over the past year, the seal's condition seemed to be declining. To everyone on the outside, it appeared as though the girl was having stomach problems or cramps of some kind, but inside the seal with Kurama, the tag in the center of the bars holding the ninth bijuu back would glow red as though it was straining against a force of some kind, causing the fox to move as far back from the bars as he can so to not cause the girl harm if possible.
Sometimes, the seal would glow red randomly, causing Naruto to stop what she was doing and double over if it caught her off gaurd, then after a few breaths she would continue on with her day. Sometimes it seemed that the glow would be caused by emotional stress that she would feel at times. For example; Sometimes the glares that she gets from the villagers at times would get to her if she was not with someone to take her mind off of it, or if she would see a child playing happily with their parents.
The anomaly honestly scared the tailed being, making him feel like the cause of the strange phenomena that was affecting the seal. He promised Minato and Kushina that he would watch over the girl, and he planned to keep that promise no matter what, but all he could do was wait.
And so waiting he did, for however long she needed to come and meet her jailor, he'd find a way to keep his promise, even if the girl hated him for it.
The Sun shone high in the bright blue sky, cascading its light over the vast green landscape, shadows of clouds slowly drifting over the tall trees, a light wind swept through the land, cooling off any heat that had been generated throughout the earlier part of the day. In the center of the lush green landscape, was Konohagakure, the Village Hidden in the leaves.
Konohagakure did not look like it sounded, if one were to hear the word 'Village', then the image usually thought of would be a small settlement of basic wilderness-style homes. Instead, Konoha was a large, walled off city with its own small range of mountains that had four different faces on it. The buildings that were kept safe behind the villages tall walls were on average, two to three stories tall, only certain buildings were taller or shorter compared to the majority. One most noticeable structure that held a wedding cake-like tool, large curved pillars on top giving the building an unfinished dome look to it, and finally with a large red sign with kanji for 'Fire' on it.
With a birds-eye view, one could see the plots of open land spread out outside the of the village walls, as well as up above past the villages mountain and a few inside the village. Those areas were used mainly by the Shinobi for various activities, sometimes in solo, sometimes in groups or pairs.
So naturally, a sunny day with a bright open blue sky in the middle of an unknown season was the perfect time for training, specifically for two academy students.
"This is so boring!"
"Not really"
"What!? How!?"
"Well, it isn't exciting sure-"
"Exactly! There's not point to this! we aren't learning anything Naruto!"
Two academy students sat apart from one another, both girls around the same age. One of the girls was Itou Mitsuki, she wore her usual red scarf in a twin tailed fashion over a sleeveless purple shirt and baggy dark brown pants with blue sandals covering her feet. Her legs were cross-crossed, with one knee bouncing and her eyes were off to the side, an irritated expression adorning her face.
Across from the white haired girl, was her companion, with three lines evenly spread out over her cheeks, and wild blonde hair that was a bit longer than her friend's hair, while wearing a loud orange jumpsuit, was Naruto Uzumaki, two bright oceanic blue eyes closing as she let out a sigh at her friends attitude on the subject.
"...But, it does help us out for the Final test Mitsu-chan, the leaves-" Naruto explained, pointing to the now scattered leaves surrounding the girls "-as Iruka-sensei said, help with chakra control, and lets face it, our control sucks"
Mitsuki huffed but relaxed her posture "But it's so damn boring! isn't there something else to do that helps us with chakra control, thats more exciting than sitting around?"
Naruto gave her a deadpan stare "Mitsu-chan, you don't just have to sit around, i told you, you can walk around with lots of leaves stuck to your body, not just one, do a few laps around the field, that apparently helps with concentration"
"You didn't say anything about that earlier!"
"Yes i did, i said it right at the beginning of training... four hours ago, i think?"
"No you didn-!"
Both girls were cut off by a loud growling sound, causing them both to stop and look around before turning back to one another. The sound came back a second time, making the academy students look down at their own stomachs, giving each other sheepish looks.
"Ichiraku's?" The whiskered girl asked. Getting a nod from her partner, bot students got up and walked back towards the village, hoping to end their quick hunger.
"...-that's when the paint came in, It was supposed to get Iruka-sensei, but it missed and hit Mizuki-sensei." Naruto exuberantly explained to their waitress, a girl looking eight-to-ten years older than her and Mitsuki, with short brown hair kept back by a white bandana and brown eyes, wearing a white stall cooks uniform with an apron. The girl listened intently with an amused expression on her face, her hands occupied with washing bowls and stacking them next to a large pot full of broth.
The blonde had three empty bowls stacked in front of her, residue of broth and noodles still in the ceramics. Next to Naruto was Mitsuki, with only two bowls stacked parallel to her friends' own, still working on her third at a only slightly more controlled pace than her companion.
"Did they ever find out it was you two?" The waitress asked.
Mitsuki chimed in "nope. Well actually, I think Iruka-sensei knew"
"It's probably because he was a prankster too" Naruto gave a little laugh
"A veteran compared to you two"
Naruto and Mitsuki along with the waitress both turned toward the new, older voice entering into the shack, young man with brown hair tied into a soft ponytail, deep tanned skin with brown eyes and an easily noticeable scar going across the bridge of his nose. He wore the standard Konohagakure chuunin clothes; dark blue long sleeve shirt, chuunin vest, with shinobi pants and sandals, he gave a smile to the waitress.
"Hello Ayame-san, My young students haven't been any trouble I hope?"
Ayame giggled into her hand at the pouting faces of the young girls sitting next to the older man "No Umino-kun, Naruto-chan and Mistuki-chan were just telling me some very enthusiastic stories" she said with a smile on her face.
"Yeah Iruka-sensei! Don't be hatin' on our awesomeness!" Naruto exclaimed angrily, Mitsuki giving her affirmation beside her, both of their arms crossed.
"pft, is that what you call it?" Iruka said with a smirk as he sat down on the stool next to the two girls, and ordering a bowl of miso-ramen. "Your 'awesomeness' doesn't even come close to what I did when i was your age" Stated the scarred man with a proud smile.
"Then why haven't we heard about any of your 'greatness'?" Mitsuki accused with a glare, feeling a bit miffed by how her and her friends pranking exploits were put down casually, her irritation only increasing as a smug glint entered Iruka's eyes.
"That's easy" Iruka started, leaning in to the counter space between Ayame and the two academy students, causing the others to lean in as well; Mitsuki with her irritated expression, Naruto, with narrowed eyes, and Ayame, with curiosity.
A moment of silence settled on the Ichiraku ramen stand as the three girls awaited the scarred chuunin's answer.
"...It's because I'm a ninja"
Chopsticks were thrown
A stool was launched
Chaos ensued
Ayame just stood there, holding her ladle as the two younger girls threw things at their teacher while the tanned man dodged it all, laughing past each object. The brown haired girl seemed stooped, until she realized she had not given Iruka his order of ramen, moving back toward the pot, ignoring the anarchy over the counter casually, she felt a presence to her right.
Ayame looked backwards and smiled, "hey Dad." 'Dad' was an older man with short dark hair with signs of gray, he wore a similar uniform to his daughter, with a small white cap, his eyes were slanted with jovial wrinkles on the edges, signs of a usually smiling face. He stood slightly taller than his daughter by a few inches and was a little round from age.
"Hey"
The trio on the other side of the counter froze in their movements, a stool and more chopsticks primed and ready to be thrown, all three of them turned to Ayame's father, who had his hands on his hips and lips curved down in a frown.
"...You're making a mess" he said sternly.
...
Slowly, muscles began to slacken, seats were righted, utensils were picked up off the ground and thrown away, the realignment of the food stand ending with sheepish smiles. Teuchi took Naruto and Mitsuki's stacks of bowls while Ayame placed Iruka's down in front og him, heading back to make more for the girls, her dad working on washing the bowls and replacing the chopsticks.
"Hey, Iruka sensei?" Naruto asked, getting a 'hmm?' from her teacher "The final exam is going to be tomorrow right?" a nod "How is it going to be and what are we doing exactly?"
Iruka slurped up some more noodles before answering "you can treat this one like the past exams, but instead of going over a single unit, we'll be going over everything you've learned, as well as the three basic ninjutsu a Konohagakure genin must know."
"The three basic jutsu? you mean the Henge, Kawarimi and Bunshin?"
Iruka nodded "Yes, however, if you can ace the test, or at least get five-to-ten points high than average, then you won't have to worry about messing up on one of the jutsu. The same goes for the jutsu portion, but you have to show something that's either original or clan based to make up for the written part of the Exam."
Mitsuki and Naruto nodded, The latter gaining a look that meant a question "Sensei, I know i asked you this before, but why do we need to know history when it comes to being a ninja? i get that most of the other classes are for either when a ninja is out on a mission or living by themselves at home, or in general the basics of someone living by themselves, but why History?"
Iruka gave a light smile as Ayame gave the two girls their ramen, saying their thanks but never looking away from him inattentively. "Well, while you are right about the other stuff being for everyday living, some of the curriculum is to also not only to prepare you for the possible politics side of being a shinobi you may face, but also to help guide you along if one of you chooses to become hokage, like yourself, Naruto." he paused to take another slurp of noodles "When someone becomes hokage, they'll possibly look back at their predecessors to find the answer to a specific problem they may be facing at the time."
"You mean 'When you become Hokage' right?" Mitsuki said, leaning forward and slinging her arm around Naruto with a large infectious grin on her face, one that spread to the blond on her arm and eventually the whole group, as the Ichiraku's were also smiling.
The brown haired man's smile became warmer as he reached out with both hands and patted their heads affectionately, both halfheartedly annoyed the gesture, but did nothing to stop the older man.
"Yeah... When you become Hokage, But..." The rubbing stopped. The two students looked up in confusion "You still have to pass the exam before you can even think of becoming Hokage" Iruka spoke, as though he was their older brother.
The recent confusion left Mitsuki and Naruto's face, and was replaced with large grins, nodding an affirmative while saying 'right!' to which Iruka chuckled warmly, with Teuchi and Ayame following along,, before everyone started to laugh joyfully.
it turned out to be a nice day for all those involved.
The next day Naruto woke up feeling full of energy and ready to take on the world, it was the day of the final exam, the last day that she would be an academy student. Today was the day she was going to become a genin and start earning respect! What made the blonde feel even better was that the strange pain in her core didn't act up.
Quickly showering, brushing her teeth and getting dressed, Naruto was quickly out the door after having a quick bowl of cereal with some newly bought milk. Her old carton soured the night before, fortunately noticing it before she consumed any of it.
She could hardly imagine what would have happened if she did.
The whiskered girl didn't think how strange it was to actually go to school, albeit, for the last time. Instead, she continued to run to the academy, greeting Mitsuki as the white haired girl fell into stride next to her childhood friend. Both of the girls had equally large grins, but Mitsuki's was less towards finally becoming a genin, and more towards not having to deal with school in general.
When they had gotten to the Academy and into their classroom, they realized how early they were when both of them saw an empty classroom and the clock that said they were thirteen minutes early. The girls looked at each other and shrugged, moving into the room to grab their usual seats and entertain themselves while waiting for class to begin.
Iruka would come into class five minutes before it started, everyone else in the class usually came in five minutes before him, meaning Naruto and Mitsuki only had to wait three minutes before students started to fill the room. Unsurprisingly, nobody came in alone after, some coming in pairs like the pranksters, some in groups, all chattering about the exam, a lot of them nameless to Naruto and Mitsuki, sadly.
The classroom started to fill with more noticeable acquaintances and friendly faces. The first person they saw enter was a friendly face they didn't see to often outside of the Academy due to her family, with fair skin, pearl-pupil-less eyes and short, dark blue hair, was Hinata Hyuuga, she wore a beige zipped-up hoodie with dark blue pants and blue sandals, a symbol for fire in a yellow circle was on each shoulder on the hoodie.
Hinata was a shy girl with a kind heart who met when the heiress was being bullied by their former classmates until the two girls stepped in and saved her, checking if she was alright by talking in a friendly manner to her after scaring off the bullies. Quickly, the shy girl became friends with the two pranksters, but could not stay long due to her caretaker, another lesser hyuuga member by the name of Kou, came and took her away, discouraging any further interaction with the other two girls as they walked back to their compound. However, the the girls continued to talk and remain friends, albeit if it was only during school time.
As soon as Hinata made eye contact with the other two, she gave a smile and a wave as she move to find a seat in the back, which thankfully was near them, greeting them politely and entering into small talk to quell the wait.
More noticeable people entered the room after Hinata, specifically clan heirs. Shikamaru Nara, a lazy kid who always slept through class and was figured to be a dead last failure, though, few people knew better. Following behind the Nara heir was his best friend Choji Akimichi, a plump kid who always had a happy smile in between the swirl markings on his cheeks, all the while stuffing it with chips, another heir to a Clan. Through Choji, everyone in their generation learned a valuable rule:
Never call an Akimichi fat.
A nameless kid was unlucky enough to experience that rule first hand during the first few weeks of school. After those two found seats, more faces began to appear; The Inuzuka clan heir, Kiba Inuzuka, who had a animalistic appearance, with his admittedly cute ninken Akamaru sticking out of the front of the boys grey jacket, he found a seat in the middle of the room. after the feral looking Inuzuka came the ever-stoic and highly intelligent Aburame clan heir, Shino Aburame, who found a seat opposite the to windows.
The room did not seem full enough when the three girls looked up from their light conversation to check the clock on the wall, only to notice that half the room appeared to be missing, then another noticeable, soon to be geninn appeared in the doorway, which seemed to answer a bit of the curiosity of those who wondered.
The individual now present in the classroom wore a high collared, blue short sleeve shirt with white shorts, traditional blue sandals and white arm warmers. A male with an ever present scowl on his face and black hair that spiked in the back, his hands in his pockets, silent, brooding arrogant filled air cloaking his body like a second pair of clothes.
He walked silently through the class and found a seat against the windows, just below Naruto's group, ignoring the looks from the the small group of students who glanced at him before continuing on their conversations.
His name, was Sasuke Uchiha, the last Heir to the Uchiha Clan.
Some viewed him as a Prodigy
Some as a survivor
others...
"Oh look, its Uke-chan, No fan brigade today?"
The addressed didn't even spare a glance, though a slight twitch in his brow said enough, Mitsuki snickered and Hinata gave a soft sigh. Naruto's smirk rolled onto her lips as she leaned forward to speak again.
"Should i count down for you, Uke-chan?" she teased, earning a grunt that tinged in annoyance, his peripherals catching five of her fingers spread outward in a silent count in the corner of his eye. The brooding boy did not outwardly acknowledge the blonde, it was a usual routine, and while he would not openly state it, Sasuke was actually using her countdown seriously, Mentally preparing himself for what was to come.
Naruto brought one finger down
4 seconds
The thundering sounds of foot steps carried into the room from down the hallway, leading into the once chatty classroom, now silent in apt anticipation. a sort of loud wailing filled the halls, its sound carrying into the occupied room.
3 seconds
Sasuke adjusted his seating position, then rolled his arms and wrists, limbering his body somewhat for the fast approaching onslaught to which could be heard as the noises in the hallways became louder, meaning the foot steps had become closer, Sasuke glanced at the clock on the wall...
2 seconds
the classroom had about twenty-something seconds or so until Iruka arrived, due to the exam, it was highly likely their assistant teacher, Mizuki, was going to make an appearance.
That was good, it meant peace would arrive faster with two teachers rather than one, it did not change the amount of time he would wait for their arrival however.
1 second
The dark haired boy tilted his head to the left, causing an audible 'pop' to be heard. The once faint sounds of storming wails was close enough to become slightly understandable, but still remained somewhat senseless and a bit.. Primal
'...Bring it on' he thought, just as the door burst open
The half full class watched as a majority of the student roster burst into the room with violent vigor, putting some of the seated students on edge due to the recently arrived group's ferocity. The Group itself was led by two girls who pushing and shoving each other and any other student who was unlucky enough to get in the way of their charge, both of them had bright colors of hair.
One of the girls had long, pale blonde hair done in a pony tail, and light blue eyes, her name was Ino Yamanaka, and she was the heiress to the Yamanaka clan. The second girl had short pink hair that was just past her chin and green eyes, her name was Sakura Haruno and she was born of two shinobi parents.
Both of them were total fangirls, and so were the group of female students behind them.
The ramblings of the Fan girl group stopped as soon as they reached the brooding boy sitting in front of Naruto and Co. While the group of girls' behavior was apart of the everyday routine, they seemed to be extra enthusiastic to sit by him then, even though he had not moved a muscle since any of them had entered.
'Wanted to share the rest of their academy hours in his proximity maybe?' Naruto mused thoughtfully.
The banter between the group had become more... Intelligent, if that was the correct term, it was no longer just snarls or of feral growls the girls made between one another, but actual words. The surrounding students-the ones who were tense finally relaxed and went back to their original conversations-idly wondered if it was because of how long they had all been in the academy together, or if it was because they were in the same room that they understood the newly arrived mob. Naruto, Mitsuki and Hinata watched the two mob leaders bicker over who got to the desk to sit next to Sasuke first, neither of them saying a word as each watched the proceedings with different faces. Mitsuki leaned toward her blonde friend.
"...Do you think Fangirls are sentient?" she asked, not bothering to lower the volume of her voice, not that it mattered, seeing as said group focused on two things, themselves, and their goal.
"...I think so..." Naruto mused, watching as Sasuke twitched subtly in annoyance, something her two friends beside her also noticed.
"-I GOT HERE FIRST FOREHEAD!" Ino yelled out, the topic between the group of girls still not having changed its course-who knew-which eventually lead to the pale blonde arguing with her pink haired counterpart, surprisingly receiving no rebuttal from any of the other girls behind herself or Sakura, not that she cared, or paid attention.
It was painfully obvious that the fan-mob was only paying attention to itself, as it was in the middle of an apparent civil war, one side rooted for the pink haired girl, and the other for the blonde heiress, acting somewhat submissive to the fact they would probably not get a seat next to their beloved idol. Sasuke relished in the inattentive fans, his mental clock becoming in tune with the physical clock he watched diligently.
Fortunately for him, salvation had arrived early, and they carried a stack of papers
Iruka Umino and Mizuki (no last name given), a man with light gray-blue hair, stepped into the room like beams of light shining into the pitch black abyss, if Sasuke felt himself a more pathetic person, he would have shed a tear in barely contained joy at their arrival.
"Alright class, settle down, find your seats" Mizuki said, substantially quieting down the class, including some of the fan-girls, but only hose that heard him, meaning Sakura and Ino continued to bicker. Both teachers sweat-dropped, Mizuki gave a sigh as Iruka placed his hand on the other mans shoulder, chuckling slightly as he stepped forward.
"Told you Mizuki... I'll handle this" Iruka said to his colleague, handing the other man his stack of papers, before turning to the two girls and quickly filling his lungs with air, his head seemingly becoming larger-
"SAKURA, INO, SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN!"
The students closest to the teachers snapped their hands to their ears at the volume of the scarred mans voice, while the ones toward the back winced, including Naruto and co. The two targeted fangirls 'eep'd' and shot down into the two seats next to Sasuke, with the pink haired girl closest to the brooding boy.
Iruka hummed his approval at the results of his actions, ignoring the snickers coming from behind the targeted girls and stepping back into place next to Mizuki and retaking the papers from his assistant teacher, both lightly grinning at each other before turning back to the students, Mizuki spoke up.
"We're going to pass out the final written exam, after everyone has completed and turned in their papers, then for the second part of the test, we will pull everyone out to the yard to test your capabilities with throwing kunai, shuriken, etc. The third part of the test will take place back here in the classroom, where we will test you on the three required jutsu; Bunshin, Henge and Kawarimi."
"Good luck on the Exam, and call us over if you have trouble understanding a question"
...
"WOOHOO!" Mitsuki cheered with her arms stretched into the air, a feral-like grin threatening to split her face when she lowered both her arms back down toward her body and stroked brand new hitai-ate that was wrapped securely around her left bicep with her free hand, her fingers tracing the leaf insignia that she now shared with the older generation of Shinobi, all around the orphan girl, various graduates were greeting their parents with bright faces showing off their newly gained headbands, proud gestures replied to the rookie genin.
Mitsuki shrugged off the sight of the families and turned back toward the building and brightened excitedly again when she saw a certain blonde stepping into the mid-day sunlight that bathed the rest of the village, a large grin spread across the girls face as she saw the gleam of metal being touched by the outdoor light.
"Naruto! we did it!"
Said blonde laughed and nodded her head, her own hitai-ate was tied loosely around her neck. Naruto held a grin while she walked toward her friend.
"You think they'll pair us up in the same team?"
Mitsuki raised an eyebrow at the other girl, "we just graduated the Academy after four-and-a-half years of boring lectures, class assignments, fangirls and sometimes idiotic teachers and the first thing you can think about is team placement?" There was a pause before the blonde nodded. "...I don't know, but I'm not going to worry about that right now, we have two-and-a-half weeks to goof off and laze about, I don't know about you, but momma needs an over due from years... this" Mitsuki finished with a gesture towards the academy.
Naruto laughed, "I dont know..." she reasoned, looking back toward the building "I think I'll miss Iruka-sensei," she stated, walking past her friend and toward Konoha's streets. "Come on Mitsuki, let's go celebrate."
"Now you're talkin'!"
So, this Chapter was actually supposed to end on a different note, however, I've been wasting enough of your, The readers, time in waiting for the next(this one) chapter to come out. I've decided to either place the ending i had of this one i originally had in mind either as the end of chapter 3, or somewhere in the middle.
Now hopefully you guys know that the beginning arc is not done yet we got one more chapter, and then Team 7 comes together.
I hope you guys like Mitsuki by the way, and i hope that as the Writer, I showed the differences between Naruto and Mitsuki. Itou Mitsuki is actually from a short series on (yes! she's a pull from a Hentai Doujin site, sorry if that offends you) called Bokunichi no Mikage-san.
Now, just because she's from smut, doesn't mean she's going to be a flirty, sex craved femme fatale, or whatever some of you may be thinking of, but she will be badass and a major part to this story and i hope you like her.
Oh! and one more thing that involves Mitsuki! i need to make a choice, and I need ya'lls help to choose from one thing or another.
Here it is;
Blood or Steel?
That's all :D
