I want to thank all of those who read the first chapter, honestly I did not think that the first chapter would get so many reviews! I am horribly excited to see the feedback of this chapter, and so I look forward to seeing what everyone has to say.

Disclaimer: I do not own D-Grey Man, if I did the canon pairing would be Yullen.

Chapter 2: "This House Holds A Curse"

After going to bed late the night before, Allen awoke to the sound of loud knocking on the front door. He did not know who would come and bother them, because he was pretty sure that Lenalee and Lavi were still asleep. That and he knew anyone in the town, so who would be bothering him. Moyashi, do not answer it… Who was telling him not to answer? Better yet, what was a Moyashi? Without complying, he went and answered the door.

"Ah, hello ma'am. How may I help you" he asked to the woman who was at the door. He looked over here, and noted that her clothes were not from this era. She looked like a little gothic lolita doll, to put it simply. She had brown hair that went to her collarbone, and a tanish complexion with brown eyes to pair it off. She was pretty, he could not lie, but remember he was not as straight as he thought.

"I need to tell you something about this house, I feel you have the right to know about this place" she stated. He allowed her in, and made coffee for both of them.

"Okay ma'am, what is it that you would like to say?" he asked. She sat down, before she spoke.

"Please just me Alma" she stated. He nodded to state that he had understood what she said.

"Okay, now what is it that you have to tell me?" he asked again once she had stated to call her by name.

"This house is cursed, by a man who was supposed to have been trapped in a bottle by his lover" she stated. Of course it was his luck to go and get cursed house, after all everything else about him was cursed. Why not..

"How do you know this?" he had to ask. He wanted to know how she knew, after all what person would just state that without some sort of proof, right?

"I knew the woman who did it, she'd trapped her lover in a bottle, because she was always angry that people looked at him. The man was very beautiful, and so many people looked at him, though because of his sharp temper no one would go towards him" Alma explains quietly.

"So even though the woman knew that her lover would not be stolen, she still couldn't help but to be jealous when it came to him?" Allen asked, to make sure he was right. What a strange thing to do, but the next question is how did she do it? Surely it couldn't be that easy to trap someone in a bottle for eternity.

"Well yes, like I said he was a beautiful man, and they say that the woman still haunts this place because of her jealousy and so she protects the bottle still" Alma states. Moyashi… Get away from her…

"How did she die?" Allen asks quietly, wondering how this woman knew so much about it.

"No one really knows, but did you know there is a book hidden somewhere that will tell the story better than I can?" Alma asked.

"Is it in this house?" he inquires looking to her with a gaze of wonder.

"Probably" Alma says giving off an odd smile. Don't look for it…. Once you read the first page, you're stuck to knowing it…

"Well Allen Walker, I know we'll meet again" Alma states before walking away. The white-haired boy had half a mind to chase after her, but once he did he couldn't find her.

"What was that about?" Allen asks himself not liking the mysteriousness of how the woman disappeared, nor did he like that he was being told not to find that book. What was in that book that needed to be hidden?

"Good morning, Allen" Lenalee says looking to him, he looks at her with a surprised look before responding.

"Good morning, is Lavi awake yet?" he asks finally, since he was surprised that she was already awake.

"Hmm, I don't think I heard him up. Where you outside talking to someone?" she asks as she begins making breakfast for everyone.

"Yeah, some woman came and told me some odd things about this house, but I doubt it's anything important" Allen says in a dismissive tone, though he himself couldn't help but to be curious over the situation.

"Really, that's weird. I didn't even see any other houses when me and my brother came up here. I wonder where she lives" Lenalee says quietly. Yeah me too, Allen couldn't help but to think to himself since she'd disappeared in such an odd manner, but he didn't voice his thoughts.

"Anyway, are you ready to eat?" Lenalee asks in which Allen happily nods. Food was his one weakness and Lenalee knew it all too well. Glutton… Allen frowned in distaste when he heard that voice from earlier speaking to him again.

"Something wrong Allen?" Lenalee asks with a concerned face. Allen shakes his head no, before digging into the food that Lenalee had made. A few minutes later, Lavi joined them and they all ate together, even though Allen had ate a lot before Lavi joined them.

"I had the strangest dream last night" Lavi says beginning a conversation, in which Allen and Lenalee both sweat drop knowing it was probably about some girl he'd hooked up with.

"It was about this guy and this girl, the male was pretty, even though guys aren't my style. Though he could have made almost any straight guy go gay for sure. Anyway, the woman was pretty average, but you could tell she loved him and for the most part it looked like he tolerated her in the very least, but at one point he'd went into town with her and she saw a lot of people gaze at the male. Though he didn't look at any of them, and honestly he was too rude for them, so he would only be looked at. The woman got jealous though and locked him away, and then I woke up. Weird right?" Lavi says finishing his story.

"Yeah, that's weird" Lenalee says agreeing, but Allen couldn't bring himself to agree since the woman that was there this morning had said something similar to him.

"Hey Allen, what's up? You haven't said anything since Lavi joined us" Lenalee asks with a concerned look.

"It's nothing, I'm just thinking" Allen says with a light smile, though through his head he couldn't help but ask what's going on?
