Chapter 2: Lilly's Side.
As we left off Humphrey had just got onto the train with another wolf looking at him in the shadows.
Flashback
It had been a tense few hours before the Eastern Pack and the Western Pack would meet in the valley the talk of war had been going around like wildfire.
Lilly's P.O.V
These last few days have been very eventful for me I think I might have actually found true love! Ever since my sister went missing I've been hanging out with Garth the wolf she was supposed to marry. As we got to know each other I started to develop feelings towards him and I think he might have too.
As I was walking to my den my mother looked at me.
"Dear where have you been?" I just gave a smile.
"Sorry mom" I said.
Ever since my sister went missing my mother has been like SUPER overprotective of me lately.
"Has there been any sighting of them yet?" I asked my father he looked tense.
"No" He said while looking down.
I hated seeing my parents like this, but there is nothing I can do. My sister has always got the attention of my parents while I've always had to do something daft to get their attention like talk about turtles. When I heard Humphrey went missing too it hurt because out of everyone he was always the one who cared for me and gave me attention.
I miss him.
Time skip to the Valley
I was standing next to my mother looking at the many wolves that have gathered here I looked towards my mom
"Mom will this really result in a war?" I asked concerned for the safety of my pack.
"It looks more like it every second don't worry sweetie I will protect you" She said with a devilish grin.
Sometimes she scared me.
As it was near time for the battle to start I thought about confessing my love for Garth in the hope of stopping this before there is any bloodshed. As I was going to speak to my mother everyone started to look at something coming. It was Kate and Humphrey!
"Mom look!" I said she looked at and I saw some Water in her eyes but were quickly replaced with anger.
As we were running up to them my mother quickly jumped on Humphrey being overprotective as she is
"No mom, Humphrey helped me get back!" Kate said quickly I didn't quite hear what mom said to Humphrey.
"Oh what a sweet boy" She said patting him on the head. And then it happened she was to be married to Garth.
II still can't believe it, how could they do this to me. Come all the way back just to break my heart. I was helping Kate for the wedding which I hated, but I did it anyway because she asked she was saying stuff about him like I hear he has improved howling.
Which I helped him with! I couldn't do it anymore I left as I was leaving I went past Humphrey.
"Hi Lilly he said nervously" I look at him and just walked past I didn't want to talk to him. He betrayed me by bringing Kate back why couldn't they wait till after I confessed my love. I walked to the train tacks because I wanted to leave Jasper I just couldn't watch the man I loved get married to my sister.
Flashback End
(Sorry for such a long flashback)
As we return Lilly had gotten onto the train to realise someone else had the same idea as her as she got on the train only a few minutes later did the wolf who betrayed her jump on the train also.
Humphrey's P.O.V:
As I was on the train I sat down looking at the trees going by as I was thinking about the life I was leaving behind and the new journey that was ahead. As I was thinking I couldn't shake the suspicion that I was being watched. I looked around but couldn't see anything but then I saw it a white tail sticking out.
I looked in the direction of the tail which was hidden behind a few creates of food.
"Who's there?" I demanded trying to sounds as strong as possible. As the figure came out I was surprised for it to no other that Kate's sister.
"Lilly what are you doing here?!" I asked concerned.
"I could ask you the same thing!" She said with venom in her voice…
