Piper's PoV
"Piper...? Piper?"
The daughter of Aphrodite managed to wake up, but still in daze. Her father's expression turned from I'll-Kill-Myself sad to Oh-My-Gods happy.
"What's the matter?" asked Piper, Tristan explained that when he came back a few hours after he left, Piper was laying down with her eyes closed on the floor, "How long was I out for?"
"About the whole day, I tried everything I could, but..." Tristan said, "You got a call from one of your friends, he said his name was Leo, but I told him you were sleeping heavily, so he said he would call you today. Is he your friend?"
Piper was so glad to hear Leo's name, "Yes! I'll call him right now!" She got up from bed, there was pain in her body, but she raced to the telephone anyway.
"Dad, can you go away for now? This is like... private, and sorry," Piper pleaded, Tristan agreed and Piper typed in Leo's number, "Hello?"
Ring, ring, ring...
Leo's PoV
His phone was ringing, Piper must've called! He grabbed his phone right away, "Piper?"
"Leo!" Piper beamed with happiness from what he could tell, this was a dream come true, he hadn't had contact with her for such a long time!
"Piper, oh my god! Thank goodness, I need to tell you something!"
"What is it?" she asked, Leo told her how Gaea talked to him saying that she was going to get revenge... on Piper, and she said back that she already knew that.
"What?!" Leo screamed with terror, so his friend was in danger, "I'll come to you in a few days. Where are you?" Piper gave Leo her address, "All right, just wait!"
Little did both of them know that Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus, was going to be too late to save Piper McLean, daughter of Aphrodite.
