Swish.

I jolted awake from my bed. Phew. It was just a dream.

Your dreams were right about Edward, I automatically thought. Shut up, mind.

I glanced at my alarm clock. 4:30 it said in red, block numbers. My alarm was set to wake me up at six, so I decided to just get up. I couldn't stop myself from thinking Edward bought you this alarm clock.

Sighing, I sat up and went downstairs to the kitchen. Looking around, nothing seemed appetizing. Didn't really feel like eating, but I knew Charlie would kill me if he found out that I skipped another meal. I went to the pantry. Cereal. That is what most people have for breakfast.

I got a bowl, a spoon, the milk, and the Cheerios out. When I put the spoon in my mouth, I couldn't help but spit it out. It tasted awful. I checked the expiration date on the box. It said it was fine. I cautiously tried another bite. Nope. I couldn't do it. It was disgusting. The date was probably wrong or something. I threw away the box.

When I went back to my room, the clock said 4:47.

Edward.

I decided to take a shower. I turned the water on scalding hot. That would distract me. After I got in, I squirted some of my strawberry shampoo into my palm. Edward loved this shampoo.

I decided that I needed a new shampoo.

What I had would have to do for now. I finished up quickly and got out. The warmth provided by the shower was comforting. It was something that absolutely wasn't Edward. I sighed again. Of course I'd find a way to take something that didn't have anything to do with him and warp it to be about him.

I dried my hair with my towel and brushed it. The mirror was fogged up. I wiped it down. Looking at my body, I thought, no wonder Edward didn't want you. No wonder he didn't want forever with you. You are ugly, Bella. Ugly.

I shook myself. No. I can't think like that. I put my towel back on and went to my room.

I looked at the clock: 5:30.

Edward.

This was going to be a long day.

Sorry for the long wait. I had given up writing for a while and have recently picked it back up. I liked this story so I decided to continue it.
