Once Upon a Dream

Here is chapter 2 of my story about Korra's mystery guy. Please review!

Chapter 2: Making sense of it all

Seriously! What did that mean? Who was this guy! And why did I allow him to kiss me? I sighed and stared at the ceiling. It was time for Airbending training anyways.

I walked over to the pavilion where Tenzin and the airbender kids were already meditating. Tenzin's face showed nothing but concentration so I sat down quietly and tried to join them, when Tenzin stood up.

"That's enough meditating for today, go help your mother around the house."

I was just about to stand when I realized he wasn't talking about me.

"You know, Pema told me she just fell but I had my suspicions when someone disappeared underground." He said calmly

"I'm sorry Tenzin-"I said but he raised his hand to stop me

"It's alright, but is there something bothering you?"

"No…..yes…I can't talk about it alright?" I said as I went back to meditating.

I was mostly meditating on what my dream but to no avail. Hopefully that was the end of that dream. Secretly, I didn't want it to end. It had to mean something! I couldn't focus on something as trivial as a dream; the pro-bending championships were coming up. Speaking of pro-bending, it was almost time for practice. I felt like I was glued to the ground and images of the kiss blurred my vision.

"Korra? Korra! Are you alright?" Tenzin shouted in my ears

"Yes, of course!" I lied

"You were trembling. It looked like you were having a panic attack." Tenzin said worriedly

"I'm fine." I said as I shrugged him off and stormed away

Maybe I could give him the benefit of doubt. I knew I was only fooling myself.

"Gahh!" I screamed into the air with fire following soon after.

If one dream was causing all of these problems, maybe another could fix it. I sprinted to my room making sure no one heard me. I closed the sliding door and dived onto my newly made bed. Wow, for a pregnant woman, Pema moved fast!

Just being in my bed made my fall asleep.

I was overlooking Yue Bay from a location that was unknown to me at the time. The same guy was there, looking out to the harbour beside me.

"I love you Korra" He said as he took my hand in his.

"I love you too- ." I was about to finish the statement with a name when I woke up.

Whose name was I about to say? It was on the tip of my tongue. A r? t? An e? My sub-conscious knew who it was but was not letting me in on the secret. I really was destined to be with this person. But how would I ever find him? I bet I would know him if I saw him. I sighed.
