"I love you, Vanilluxe." The female Budew admitted as she blushed, with both Pokemon at Lumoise City in the Kalos region, at night.
"And I like you, Budew!" The male Vanilluxe exclaimed, his right face smiling while his left face laughed.
Budew widened her eyes as her smile disappeared. "Wait... what do you mean, like?"
"...I like you. As a friend." Vanilluxe stated as he had conflicting looks on his two different faces.
"You're telling me that you don't love me!?" Budew remarked as she squinted her eyes at Vanilluxe.
"Well, I like you a lot, but I think we should take our relationship slow and steady." Vanilluxe stated as he spun around.
"Liking someone a lot is love, you fool!" The Budew exclaimed as she then kissed Vanilluxe on his right face, with his left face gasping in shock as Arceus and Darkai looked at each other.
"The author brought the story back for this?" Darkrai commented as he moved his dark, shadowy hands about. "What a waste! Ugh!"
Arceus shrugged as he shook his head. "Hey, it was an excuse to use the portrait that has Budew and Vanilluxe in it. It was this, or deleting it. And there's a lot worse stories to delete."
"Well... if you say so." Darkrai stated as he placed his left hand on his face. "I just find it a waste, personally."
Arceus shrugged as he watched Budew and Vanilluxe spin up and down and all around.
