We pull up outside my house and we exit the carriage, a stable hand comes up to take the carriage as we walk up the stairs and walk into the main hall.

"Mother, Father. I'm home" I say leading Blaize to the parlour where I know mother, and probably father will be.

Blaize grabs my hand and squeezes it. He's been acting off all afternoon and it's really starting to make me wonder. I mean we graduated Hogwarts this year and now we have about 6 months before we start work or travel or whatever we want to do.

Mother and father were, as I expected in the parlour. They smiled as we came in and mother immediately offered Blaize tea. Well, this is off to a good start. I mean, if mother and father like Blaize enough… Hush, don't get ahead of yourself.

Well. That went surprisingly well. Mother and father not only approved of me seeing Blaize, but they invited him to dinner, tomorrow! That's not very common behaviour for my parents. But I'm going to bleed it for all it's worth. I mean, my parents are holding the normal summer ball on Saturday. I could get a dress and some new jewellery out of them for that too…

"What's this I hear about you and Blaize?" Draco demands; bursting into my room.

"What about him? "I say as innocently and sweetly as possible. Batting my eyelashes

"I heard mother and father. You two… he's who you met this afternoon isn't he?" he exclaims madly,

"So what if we did Draco. I don't see how it's any of your business." I snap

"So it's true then? You go behind my back and get with one of my closest friends?" he rages

"Draco, no that's not how it is, I wasn't intentionally keeping it from you. I just wanted to keep it under wraps until we told mother and father." I explain

"Oh. But still. He's my friend." He mutters

"I know. But it wasn't planned. I mean I don't know. Things have been different since we accidentally kissed at the Yule ball." I sigh

"YOU WHAT!" he roars

"Draco it was an accident. Plus back then I was dating Jeremy Dillingham. So he kind of saved me from that."

"Jeremy who ended up getting kicked out because he broke Snape's nose?" he murmurs

"yep" I sigh.

"thank god that's over then" he says

"I know right. Plus I think he got the message when I cursed him so that his face was covered in boils"

I shut my door and lean against it. I let out a sigh and open my wardrobe.

I get out a plain black velvet dress and put it on as well as black shoes. I sit at my mirror and fashion my hair into a messy up-do.
