So i decided after a few asked for a continue of the one-shot i went for it. But! i have a feeling that you guy might think it has gone in a different direction then the one-shot. I tried to keep it similarly written, but i wasn't sure what to write so i wrote random plot. So i hope you are okay with this?
Enjoy and tell me if it wasn't or was to your liking and if you want more i will.
Memories
Continues!
When Jack went over to the Globe room, it wasn't much he could do when he was in and seated. North would talk away. Swears when either a elf or yetis would saying something only he would understand. Must be things that were going wrong.
Noises were going from the work areas. Bunnymund pops up. Tooth flies in and so does Sandy. Jack would give them a glance, but that was it. He had another dream. That was all he ever did now since he was trying to do what they asked him to do. Nothing, but dream. Of his sister and mother. Leaving them with the burden of him being gone.
He wondered almost everyday now what they had gone through with him gone. Did they get depressed and give in to the winter and die? Or maybe, just maybe they got through it all and lived a long life? Emma marring and having children.
He sighs. Frost forms on the window next to him. He frowned in sorrow. Guilt hit him hard right there and then. He left them. What he should of done that day was cheeked that stupid pond for weak ice. Getting caught in the moment to not have thought that. No! They shouldn't have gone to the pond at all that day and should have stayed home with mom and helped out.
Shame forms on his face. Why? Why did that have to happen? He did though become a Guardian for that step of courage and selflessness for saving her. Willing to give his life for hers, but he was alive and living and they were dead. All because of that idiotic pond.
When he got his memories back that day. The day he saved the Guardian's from totally disappearance. He went to the pond. It was gone now. Mostly likely from them trying every way to find him. They must of taken many months do what they did.
Tears were forming over his eyes. He would blink them away. Looking at the Guardian's he walks away after North is done talking and goes to his room. Jack wasn't able to go to Jamie still and slowly it was killing him. Jamie was going to be 13 now. Another year around and he couldn't be there to give him a gift let alone, go there for his birthday.
Closing the door behind him, going to he window. Scanning the outside, he could see the forest in the distance with the sun setting for another day. One closer to Winter in Burgess. He opens the window and sits, resting his eye whiling taking the brisk air in. It was crisp against his skin. The breeze making him become breathless.
Caught in the moment Jack doesn't notice north coming in. The door closing did the trick to warn him that someone came in. he turned to face him having to look up slightly. North gives him a concerned face, but it had hints of sadness too.
He asks Jack if he was well? Or if it was something else that made him this way? Jack would tell him he was healthy, it was just homesickness. North gets him at once and nods. He extends his over sized hand and pats his shoulder In reassuring him.
North toke his leave. Lightly shutting the door. He puts down his staff by his dresser. Letting the tears fall with a little dimples on the floor. Jack stumbles to the bed and lets the sleep come.
'It's okay' he would say. She would be scared. He would try to make her feel safe. She would look frighten. He gets over to her and pushes her to a safe place. He end up falling in the ice cold water and slowly loses heat and dies of hypothermia.
Then he was awake unsure where he was having fun of all times in the grate of gloominess. Sliding his staff against the ice of the pond. Only to find later no one could see him and to live alone for hundreds of years unaware that he had family mourning him. Living to be seen then to remember or find his family.
Gasping for air he shoots up from the pillow. The blanket falling to the floor. The bed damp from crying again. How many times had he cried now for them? Steading his heart that lay behind his chest. A cold coated heart that pattered evermore. Never to fail even if it meant falling a long distance. Getting heated in the moment thinking he would die and then don't.
He gets up and grabs his staff and goes out the window. Heading to who knew where and give new snow. Keeping at this routine for how long it takes until he was able to see Jamie. Waking up early to get there and to tell him a late happy birthday.
Through the window he sees him and knocks. Jamie's eyes light up and looks up and him and unlock the window. He steps in and gets a bear hug. He breathes in a relaxed portion of air. It felt great to embrace Jamie. A little brother he never had. His mother walks in. Surprise expresses on her face.
Jack looks at her to find her looking at him and not Jamie hugging air. Him! Staring at him and not the thirteen year old. Her hand covers her mouth. Horrible exchanging the surprise. Was she truly frighten by him? Guess she would finding a a strange teenager hugging her boy. Though she shouldn't be able to see him in the first place.
More surprising things happen within a minute. She goes over to him and hugs him saying a name that wasn't his. Jamie looked at him with both confusion and surprise thinking maybe that she had looked at something at Jack's eye level. She continues to say the name. It oddly familiar Jack coming to trying to pin point who it belong to. It hits him like a train. It was her husbands. Who had died not to long ago. But not just that I was almost like he heard it before then this. Them. Where?
He tries pulling her away. She releases him with tears in her eyes. Whipping them away she looks up at him and smiles. He tilted his had and looks at her blankly. The smile fades and she cries more. He cups her face and whips the fresh tears and says its okay.
'don't you recognize me?'she asked him. He looks at her again. Looking at her more closely seeing if he did. There was a strange familiarity coming from looking at her. Right as he thinks that, the sun hits her eyes and they light up to a light brown.
'I'm scared.' She said, light brown eyes opened with fear.
Jack shakes his head with jolt. He looks back at her, not believing that it was her. It couldn't be? How? He steps back with a unbalanced movement. She grabs his arm. She would have to be hundreds of years old. She was only about 30. It can't be her.
She realizes his battle within and hugs him again, but like a little sister would when she was in need of one from a protecting brother. His arms stay by his side lamely, slowly making their way to her back. After the time goes by she lets go and his hopes shatter. It wasn't her, but third great grand children who been told stories of him and how he was lost in a pond that he loved dearly and so had her greats grandmother. The reason for saying her husbands name. He new of the stories too. After he died, he told her that he had a feeling that he didn't die. She thought it weird, but believed him. Now here he was.
Even with the heart breaking moment, he still smiles. His sister lived a good life and not only that she left him Jamie down the line of the family. Though His mother looked now like a spit image of his sister. The hair was shorter and she wasn't like the Emma he remember since he only got to her child age and no farther.
This was a good day for him now. He still had family. Having hopeful thoughts that maybe he didn't completely want to change what had happened then. Things might have been different if it did. Maybe no Jamie.
Once it was Jamie's bed time he decided to leave and go back to the North. Luckily the winds were there happy to see the reunion with his family. They pick him up and again within the Northern range they nearly drop him to the friend of theirs.
He looks down to actually see someone out in the snow. He looked thin and had odd looking clothes on. Almost like his, but a different color. Green old time looking pants, the top coat looked like bear fur and a light green shirt. His boots were leather with fur on top. Wait? he only had one foot. One was a metal hook? What?
He leans down and descends and lightly steps onto the snow behind him. He hears him and turns to look at Jack. The winds go crazy making their clothes flap everywhere. He looks at Jack confused and surprisingly asked him why they were like this? How did he know what they were doing and thinking?
Who was he?
MMHMMM? Well i guess i would have to Continue with a ending like that. Can you figure out who it is?
