I wrote this after seeing an episode where Hannah moves in. Apparently I have most ideas about short third person's POVs (I'll try something different next). This is kind of based on the song Under the surface by Marit Larsen.

Disclaimer: I don't own anything you recognize.

Under the surface

Hannah's POV:

Hannah Burley was never so happy in her life. She just came home, which she shared with a man she was head over heels in love with, for the first time. It wasn't possible it was happening to her.

At work, when she wasn't with him, time passed by slowly and when they were finally in each other's arms, in their home, she felt extremely happy; it was hard for her to keep herself from jumping up and down in joy.

But when she saw his hurt look towards the door after Temperance left… It hit her…. Seeley and Dr. Brennan were best friends and as much as she was trying to think that nothing was happening between them, something seemed odd. Like "Bones", as he called her, took the first place in his heart and always will. They shared a connection Hannah knew she'll never have with him.

"Do you love me?" she asked, almost encouraging him to say 'yes'.

He stayed silent.

His attempt to smile failed and that was almost worst, than if he would say he doesn't. It was enough for her… Silence and his look towards the door were worst to take, than if he would just say the truth.

As selfish as it seems, it drove her mad that she was just 'the other girl' to Booth.

So she thanked him and left.

I finally see why everyone is so desperate for reviews; they make you jump up and down the room :D I hope there aren't many mistakes in, but if you find something, let me know and my teacher will be grateful.
