It's that time again folks, Chapter 2. The last Chapter left off on a cliffhanger and I'm sure all of you think that Konoha will be destroyed well it could be. Now without anymore delay let us begin.

Chapter 2: For Konoha..
The tall figure walked on the beaten path growing closer to his destination with each passing step, he stopped and looked around to see a squad of anbu. "..." He said nothing as they moved in for the kill and once they were close enough he smiled. The anbu captain stepped forward and said: "I am the captain of this squad, we have been sent by our kage to capture you once our sensors detected you close to our borders. I hope you come peaceful or we will use force." The hooded shinobi slowly held up his hand and folded his thumb into the palm of his hand and bought the pinky finger down and held it up in the air, the sensor didn't sense any chakra being used so he thought he was surrendering and walked over to him. The hooded person smiled more at this and the captain had a bad feeling. "Hawk! Don't g-" The chakra of the person flared as they widen their eyes as a lightening cloak surrounded him and their hearts dropped from their chest with what he said next: "Sanbon Nukite!" He slammed his hand into the ground while uplifting the ground at their feet before they could react sending them flying. He balled his fist and disappeared with kage level speeds and tagged each of them before they hit the ground, the squad was dead before they realized it.
"Impressive Raikage-dono, very impressive." The former Raikage looked back at the man who revived him. "You still haven't told me exactly why you revived me.." The other hooded shinobi smiled but it was hidden by the hood over his head. "I revived you to show the world something." The former Raikage deactivated his lightening cloak and glared at the person. "And what is this 'Something'?" The unknown person looked towards the leaf and turned to walk towards it. "To show the world that peaceful times are over, we have a job to do so lets go." The two shinobi jumped towards the village which is about a few hours away at their current speed.
Council cambers
The room was dead silent after watching the revived kage kill the anbu with obvious ease, the third hokage turned off the crystal ball after watching the two make their way to the village. "Hokage-sama..what are your orders?" The clan head of the Nara clan: Shikaku asked and everyone looked to him as the aging kage thought about a plan. "It isn't the work of the edo tensei that lord second created but one i didn't think was known to anyone else but one man i met in the early reign as hokage, he was as old as i am now so he should've died by now and he told me that it only works for eighteen hours so if we intercept them now with our strongest and hold them there then we can stop them for getting to the village itself. Fox, Dragon." Two anbu kneeled next to him after appearing from the shadows. "Hai hokage-sama?" The third looked at the two before quickly breaking orders to the two and everyone else. "Go get Kakashi and Guy and tell to get to my office immediately! Shikaku and Inochi you two will stay with me and we will link to every shinobi in the village and prove orders to everyone mentally. Now wait for me in our meeting place."
The two nodded and went out to wait (via body flicker) in his hidden bunker that only a select few people know about. "Hokage-sama, what do you need of my clan? The Akimichi will protect the village with our lives." Choza gave a firm nod to which the third smiled and simply shook his head. "Your clan along with the few chunin who are already there will protect the civilians. Should we need it your clan and yourself will be called in." Choza nodded accepting his role in this, the third soon turned to the hyuga and the Inuzuka will be on the front lines with myself, the Aburame clan will provide support."
Said clan heads nodded in agreement as he said this, he was about to dismiss the meeting when a voice came from the shadow of one of the corner, a voice that everyone was very familiar with. "At least you haven't gotten too old to think like a veteran kage than some old guy." The third chuckled at this before looking to his left where the voice came from. "It's good to see you after so long, Jiraiya." The toad sage stepped into the light with his usual grin on his face. "Same to you, old man." The light atmosphere soon turned serious again. "Jiraiya, as good as it is to see you again we have a threat to our home arriving in two hours going by my own estimate. And as Hokage of this village i order you to help defend the dream my fellow kage worked so hard to achieve. Will you follow my command, Jiraiya of the Sannin?" Jiraiya looked at the man who taught him everything he could, his face turned into a look of complete seriousness as he soon spoke. "I will follow your command until my last breath. As long as you and i live Konoha will not fall." He said with complete faith in the system, the village, and above all else: the children that would be the futre of Konoha.
Tsume, clan head of the Inuzuka clan stood before kneeling towards her kage. "We fight for our families.." Shibi, clan head of the Aburame Clan stood and kneeled too. "We fight for the peace.." It wasn't said very loud but everyone heard him, Hiashi, clan head of the Hyūga Clan stood and kneeled. "We fight for the present.." Jiraiya kneeled as well and added. "We fight for their future.." The third looked each of them in the eye and he knew what was needed of him. "But more importantly, We fight for Konoha and all its people that live in it." Each of them nodded in acceptance. "Now gather your respective clan members and inform them of what's to come, time is of the essence." They nod quickly before disappearing in their own body flickers.
A Few minutes later, under the hokage mansion
"So, how is Naruto doing?" Jiraiya asked while following the third to the hidden bunker. "He is well, his grades aren't the best but he'll pass." Jiraiya nods as they went down a long stair well. "Have you told him about his parents?" They reached the end of the stairs, the third shook his head. "No, I haven't. But i will tell him when he becomes a Chunin." Jiraiya sighed and looked at the normal wooden door that was covered in seals that even Jiraiya had to look at for a long time just to see what they might be there for and the older ones were the ones he didn't recognize at all. "The chances of him hating you-" He frowns at what he heard from his former sensei. "He won't hate me, he will learn of his heritage when he is a chunin or 18. And i forbid you from telling him without my say so." The toad Sage nodded at the order. "Hai, Hokage-sama.." He said as he watched the old kage deactivate the seals and they entered the room with a single thought from the sage: 'If he reacts badly I'll have to stop whatever he might do.'
The Hokage Monument, Underground Safe Zone
Everyone was sitting on the surprisingly soft floor talking quietly with each other, Naruto sat legs crossed on the floor away from everyone but Mochi, Akane, and Kyuubi."Care to share, Naruto-san?" Mochi asked while looking at the boy who was facing away from the three of them.
"I'm just thinking..." He said without looking back at them, Kyuubi moved over and sat in front of him. "What?" Naruto said as the Kyuubi just stared at him so he did the same, this went on from a few seconds before Naruto sighed to which Kyuubi smirked. "I'm worried about Hokage-sama...he might've lied to me but he was the only one to really be there for me when everyone wanted me dead." Kyuubi hid a small smile as he said this. 'He still dislikes him but i suppose h-' She heard him connect with her through the mental link. 'But if anyone is going to kill him, it will be me.' Her eyes widened at the dark words spoken from the boy. 'You can't be seriousShe asked mental as the boy narrowed his eyes. 'Are you going to betray my trust too, kyuubi?' She went stiff at that, he never called her that. 'You've changed..' The boy shook his head at this. 'I haven't changed, i evolved.' A chill went up her spine, she had to look away from those cold, sharp eyes. 'Are you going to destroy the village?' He raised a eyebrow at this. 'You care for these monsters? The same ones who beat me within a inch of my life on my birth day?! You shouldn't care what i plan to do with this village!..Now i ask, will you stand with or against me?' He asked with his hand moving towards his hidden kunai. 'I...'
The village main gates
The third stood with his shinobi at his side, he was in his war armor. "They're here." The third nodded as Inochi's voice rang through his head, he looked around him and saw several confident nods from the trees as they were filled with shinobi, the anbu were cutting off their exit and scouting to see if anyone was lagging behind the two approaching rogue ninjas. As a kage who has seen a few too many wars than he would like to, he knew that the hardest part of war wasn't the battle, not the lack of supplies, hell death was better to most. The hardest thing for any samurai, or ninja was the wait, some would go to hell and back to convince you that the wait is only half the battle. The old, tired, and tense kage just chuckled, with everything he has done he couldn't help but agree.
A single leaf floated slowly to the ground, sweat dripped off of a newly promoted jounin as he gripped a kunai, three chunin who stuck together since the academy fist bumped each other and nodded the unspoken words drove them to ready themselves for the fight of there lives, a kunochi another newly promoted jounin she looked to her bearded boyfriend who looked back into her ruby red eyes and smiled, the single leaf twirled before touching the ground.
The trio of chunin widen their eyes as three explosive tags stuck to their chest, they were dead before they could inhale to scream in shock. The third looked towards the explosion and soon after that he looked back in front of himself to see a giant blade aiming to cut him in half. "Hokage-sama!" The shinobi in viewing distance yelled in fear for their kage, the third was ready to block the strike when he saw a yellow and red blur rush out from behind him. "Next time/ we're cutting/off your legs." This was said by Mochi, Akane, and Kyuubi as the four of them held back the giant blade, said boy just smiled at this. "Aw, i love you guys too!" They sighed and formed a diamond formation around the third, all playfulness was gone as they said in union. "What are your orders, Hokage-same?" The third didn't take his eyes off of the opponent in front of him. "Stay with me, if you know any long range jutsu then don't be afraid to use them. Am i understood?"
They each nodded and released the henge on themselves as they day viewed their real selves, Naruto had on anbu style pants, with black sandles, fishnet armor under a short sleeved shirt, and a black haori with white flames at the bottom with the kanji for 'Fifth' going down the back. Mochi had on the same but the fish net armor was the only thing he had on his upper body. Akane had on a short dark red skirt with bandages under it, she had on a fish nest top that was long sleeved and a short sleeved jacket the was made out of grade A material, she had her hair tied up to keep it out of her face. Kyuubi had on tight pants that was a sight for Naruto, fish net armor top with a jacket that was forced on to her by Naruto.
They got back into position around the third who looked at this interesting team before asking. "Interesting, you four might look the part but can all of you back it up?" He asked as they smirked. "Just watch, old man." Naruto crossed his fingers in a familiar sign to the third. "Naruto wait!" It was already too late as the boy yelled. "MULTI SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" Everyone in the trees looked in shock as one thousand clones appeared around them. 'You love showing off don't you?' Naruto laughed at this. 'You know how i am.' He looks around at his clone army. "You guys know what to do." He said as they went off to complete their mission.
Their attention was turned back to the cloaked man who let out fake laugh that unsettled the five shinobi. "That's very impressive. I knew that the kyuubi host had a lot of chakra but this is most than i expected. Wouldn't you think so, sensei?" The man removed the cloak to show that it was the Snake Sannin: Orchimaru. "I suppose it is, so you've come to try and destroy the village?" Orochimaru raised a eyebrow before laughing some. "I haven't come to try and destroy it, I've come to actually destroy it."
Naruto scoffed at this. "Oh? You and what army?" Orochimaru just smiled darkly at the question making Naruto shiver and recive four slaps to his head. "I'm glad you asked." He said as the ground started shaking as everyone watched in fear as five unknown bodies rose from the ground. "Shinjitsu no fukkatsu!" Orochimaru yelled as the first one turned into Minato Namikaze and the second one turned into Kushina Uzumaki, Mochi and Akane looked at the two and froze earning concered yells from Naruto and Kyuubi.
The third rushed forward as the first hokage was starting to form along with the second, he swung his Bō staff destroying the two bodies getting a annoyed look from his fomer student who focused on the last one who was the third Kazekage, the revived kage blinked and looked at his surroundings. "Konoha? Why am i here?" He looked in front of him to see a old Hiruzen. "Hokage-dono, you've gotten older.." Hiruzen just chuckled at this while looking at his old friend. "Yeah? I need to find myself another successor since the last one met a untimely death while saving the village." The Kazekage nodded sadly at this. "I'm sorry to hear that, i take it the blond boy is the new kyuubi host?" Before Hiruzen could answer the massive form of the third Raikage appeared with a flash of lightening. "Oh, it's the meat head." This was said by the former Kazekage, a laugh was shared between the Kazekage, Hiruzen, Naruto, and Kyuubi.
"Shut up!" A annoyed Orochimaru yelled and stuck a tailsmen into the back of the Kazekage, the Kazekage went stiff and turned to Orochimaru. "What are your orders, Orochimaru-sama?" He asked without any emotion in his voice. "Kill them, keep the kyuubi alive i want to brainwash him to serve me." The Kazekage nodded and called forth his Iron sand. "Mochi and Akane, are you two alright?" Naruto asked the two who opened their eyes. "Y-Yeah, don't worry about us." Akane said as Mochi just looked at Orochimaru. "I remember.." Hiruzen glanced at the boy. "What do you mean, Mochi?" He asked watching the boy rush at the still body of the fourth hokage. "Cover us!" Akane yelled as they both ran towards the two body, Hiruzen cursed as ran after them along with Naruto and Kyuubi. "What the hell are you two doing?!" Hiruzen asked as he leaped over the iron sand that would've killed him, they didn't answer him but kept running towards the bodies."Yurina-chan, throw me!" Naruto yelled as he saw Orochimaru going to intercept Mochi and Akane, Kyuubi aka Yurina grabbed him and launched him foward at Orochimaru while forming a blue ball in his hand.
Orochimaru saw this and jumped back as the boy slammed it into the ground making a small creator, Mochi and Akane made it to the bodies and went to what they were looking for which was a tri-ponged kunai and a long katana that has a gray hilt with a Uzumaki pendent hanging from it, the blade itself was dark red, Orochimaru laughed at the sight. "Look at these two children taking to be brave, it's too bad you two won't live to see tomorrow." Mochi and Akane looked at each before tighten the grip on their repective weapons. "I think you've mistaken us for normal genin." Naruto landed in bewteen them with a confused look. "As cool as you two look this isnt the time for games." Mochi smiled and ruffled Naruto's hair earning a annoyed glare from the boy, he grabbed seveal more kunai from the body. "Just watch and learn, Sochi. Hiruzen, Akane, and Yurina deal with the Kazekage." The girls nodded and Hiruzen looked concenred for the boy but with the Kazekage fast approaching he could only hope the two boys would be alright. "Kakashi, provide assistant to them!" Said shinobi appeared next to the two boys who were starring Orochimaru down as he licked his lips. 'Ew..' That was the collective thoughts of all who was unfornate to have seen that.
Mochi inhaled as the battlefield calmed, the former raikage activated his lightening cloak as the shinobi around him gripped their weapons, Hiruzen, Akane, and Kyuubi glared at the third Kazekage who had his iron sand ready. "Shinobi of the Leaf!" Hiruzen's voice echoed through the area, the wind picked up as he spoke. "Today, we've been faced with a challenge. The enemy is strong, that much is true but we can't lose. Our people are trusting in us to win, to survive, to live. Every decision we make here today will not only change the village but the world itself, today we fight for Konoha!" Hiruzen yelled as he rushed his former friend and his shinobi did the same, they would lay down their lives for the people of their village and today was the day that they would do so.
With the raikage
1,000 hyuga watched the Raikage smirk at them, 2,000 shadow clones were up front. "Wind style: Great Wind Breakthrough!" They all yelled firing a giant wall of wind at him, he shook his head and disappeared and reappeared to the far left where the hyuga were just coming out the ground with the help of 1,000 shadow clones. "Air palm!" All one thousand hyuga members yelled at the same time, his cloak was rendered temporarily disabled. "This is a good of time as any.." One of the Naruto clones said as he closed his eyes and opened them again as the lightening cloak was about to activate, his eyes were gray with a swirl going from the middle all the way around to the edge. "Kakucho ai: Saisho no suteppu!" His body bulged as his strength, and speed increased two times his natural strength and speed, he disappeared in a lightening fast blur going at mid kage speeds. "Rasengan!" The clone appeared in front of the Raikage after boosting his speed with a lot of chakra to his legs, he slammed the Rasengan into his head, killing him. "The boy did it.." A hyuga said in disbelief as they watched him land before disappearing in a poof of smoke along with the other clones one by one.
With Hiruzen and others
Hiruzen barely dodged the wave of iron sand that was sent at him, he cursed as he saw it coming at him again, he went through a few hand signs and thought about the jutsu. "Water Style: Water Wall!" Water flowed out of a scroll he had opened earlier when he saw the former Kazekage, he was able to cast a small and unnoticeable genjutsu on itto hide it. "Hokage-sama!" A nara clan member yelled while on pushing the third out the way and jumping in the path of a sand spear, the spear killed him almost instantly. "Uzumaki Style: Mountain Cutter!" A loud ring was heard, everyone looked at the revived kage to see him unmoving and soon his head fell off his shoulder. "Well that was easy, I'm going to check on my boys." She jumped away from the m while the third just watched. 'I don't know how you two did it but I'm glad the two of you are back.' He went about cleaning up the mess and sealing away the fallen shinobi.
With Mochi and Naruto
Orochimaru smirked at the two. "Boy do you know what you hold in your hand? The Flying Raijin kunai, do me a favor and put them down before you hurt yourself." Mochi thought about it. "If you insist." He threw them towards him with all of them landing in places around him, the man shook his head. "I'm done playing this game, lay down and die." Mochi looked at Naruto and asked: "Do you trust me, Naruto?" Naruto looked at the powerful enemy and back to his friend? "I do but what are you doing? You can't possibly know how to use that jutsu." Mochi placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder. "I died once and that was a mistake but i won't die today, after all my son is right here next to me." Naruto's eyes widened at that and watched him throw a kunai at him. "Flying Raijin: Step three!" He appeared at the kunai behind the man with a Rasengan in hand, Orochimaru's eyes widened and he jumped forward with a smirk while making the sword of Kusanagi raise from his throat and start to extend towards the boy who disappeared in a flash, he appeared behind the man who reinforced his back with chakra. "Damn it!" He cursed as the boy disappear in another flash and appeared to his right, Orochimaru tried to cut him by moving his head. 'I can't use my skin shedding jutsu as long as my blade is out, it's almost back ins-' His thoughts were cut short as a intense pain was felt in his side. "RASENGAN!" The boy yelled as the blue orb impacted his side sending him into the woods, the pain was unlike anything he ever felt before. "Damn you, Mina-" The last thing he saw and heard was a clone of the third hokage beheading him with a katana taken from his anbu. "Rest easy, My student..." Hiruzen walked off as a anbu came and sealed the head away and burned the body, on that day one of the legendary Sannin died.
"Hokage-sama, we only had ten dead. The fallen have been sealed and the injured are already in route to the hospital, what are your orders?" A anbu reported as the well pass his prime kage sighed. "Tell everyone to return to the village but stay and high alert, and dig graves for the former kage." The anbu nodded and disappeared in a blur to carry out his orders, Hiruzen sighed and walked towards the four who played a vital role in keeping the deaths to a minimum.
"Mochi or should i call you Minato?" The third started and Mochi just chuckled. "Minato is fine, Mochi just feels weird now.." Hiruzen chuckled at that as he turned to Akane. "What about you, will you also take up your fomer name?" He asked Akane who just shrugged. "I might as well." He nodded and looked at Yurina who looked conflicted about something. "Are you alright, Yurina?" He asked while they looked at her expect for Naruto. "Yeah.. you can call me Yurina." He smiled keeping it in his mind to check up on her file. "Ok, Naru-" He saw the boy ball his fist while keeping his head down. "Are you alright, Naruto?" Naruto looked up with the red slit eyes of the kyuubi that they were very familiar with. "I'm Fine." Naruto said in a sharp tone that could cut through the strongest metal, they decided to leave it at that unless they wanted things to get out of hand. "Well..Minato, and Kushina shall be given the ranks of jounin effective immediately. Naruto, you showed a great deal of skill and tactics during your fight with the raikage and due to this unexpected war I'm giving you a field promotion to the rank of chunin. May you continue to protect your home and it's people no matter how badly you were treated before." The boy accepted the scroll. "Thank you." Hiruzen nodded and they were about to head back to the village when they all heard two voices.
"Hiruzen Sarutobi, Give us the nine tails and we will leave your village in one piece. These are the words of God." They turn and saw a beautiful blue haired woman with a cloak with red clouds and a man with the same cloak and he has orange hair. "Do not defy a God, we are the Akatsuki." The man said as he took a step forward, his purple ringed eyes were the ones of legends, the eyes of the father of the ahinobi world: The sage of six paths. "We won't give him to you." Hiruzen said and dropped into a stance and so did Minato and Kushina. "Then fell the power of a god, Chibaku Tensei!" He clapped his hands together as the ground shook, the world would change and whether or not it was for the better would be decided by the coming battle. Would Konoha be destroyed or will it stand tall and come out on top for the next generations sake?

Chapter 3: What does it mean to be free?
Naruto looked around the battlefield, he turned to the ninja he had crippled. His Kakucho ai glowed in the dark of night, he knew what was going through the man's head right now. "Naruto..is this what you really want? To be hunted down for the rest of your life?" Naruto looked at him, his katana dripping with the blood of the ones he has killed to get to this point. "Everyone i know and love has betrayed me, i think it's time i do the same...This is goodbye, Tou-san." Minato closed his eyes as the blade came down...
Hope all of you enjoyed this chapter, i made the battles at the end really short and fast because i don't see a reason to drag them out, and i did forget about them... I might do so in future chapters but that is to be determined. So what do you guys think about the sneak peak of the third chapter?
