Ginny Weasley wanted Katie to stop talking. It had been almost a year and a half since she had talked to that man and here he was back again barging into her mind through her roommate. 'Be rational Ginny, it might not be him' she thought to herself. But who was she kidding how many other men pointed at walls with their "stick" spoke gibberish, had black hair, a scar on their forehead and what was that Katie kept saying, o yea " devilishly handsome". Her roommate clearly did not her input in the matter as she was still babbling about the encounter; so Ginny decided to take matters into her own hands. " So what exactly did he say?" she asked.
"Say! Ginny! Have you been paying any attention to what I have been saying this entire time?! " Katie exclaimed mildly irritated at Ginny for interrupting her rant. "Well, he said he was an architect and he was measuring the walls for a project." She said with the dreamy look back in her eyes. " An architect Ginny! Can it get any better?"
Ginny bit her cheeks trying to hold back her laugh. Harry was an architect now was he? Well she was sure Fred and George would have to say something about that. (A/N: yes they are still alive after the final batter in this story).
" But you know what, he refused to take my number Ginny…do you think he is gay?" Katie's voice interrupted her thoughts.
"Huh? What do you mean refused to take your number?"
"I kind of suggested that I can help him look around London if he wanted, and you know most guys would have just jumped at the opportunity…but all he said was thanks but no thanks " I am quite familiar with the city and can do it myself", who in the right mind would refuse a gorgeous girl like me?!" she said, trying to sound cocky.
Though a bit pleased inside Ginny laughed with her friend. It was true Katie looked like a super model and she knew though her friend was joking outside she was probably taken aback by Harry's reaction. But then again apart from Cho Chang in fourth year Harry had never really been taken aback by any girl other than …she stopped, now was not the time to think about it. What she needed to do was talk to her mother and perhaps to have some of her tea.
Within few minutes of that thought Ginny was telling her friend of her intention of paying her mother a visit and heading out right after she handed in the paper she was working on.
She decided to find a convenient location to apparate to the burrow. Just as she got past the funny feeling in her stomach that came with apparition, she collided with a hard object.
"Ouch," she said, as she massaged her head, a pair of strong arms stopped her fall.
"Sorry Gin, didn't know I was standing on your way," said the man, with the sparkling green eyes filled with mirth, which had decided to be the bane of her existence once again.
