Well, if you're reading this you probably enjoyed the first chapter, so I'm glad you like my story. Don't be afraid to leave a review :)

The blonde hylian growled in anger when he saw the road leading to his favorite after-class spot was closed down for maintenance. Not wanting to hold up other cars, and knowing that there was nothing he could do to fix this, Link took the next turn and continued on. On the way through the part of town he rarely visited, he spotted a Rita's nearby.

Well, I guess I'll just go here. It's been awhile since I've had some Italian Ice.

So he parked his car carefully making sure not to bump into one car that's licenseplateread, "GET OFF THE ROAD."

After standing in a huge line of people who really like their food-colored shaved ice, Link got to the window.

"Hello, welcome to Rita's.", Link didn't notice the girl at the cash register pause before she began speaking again.

"How can I help you?". Link looked over the menu, checking the flavors that were being served today, eventually deciding on green apple.

" Umm, yeah. Can I get a large green apple ice?" Link says, finally looking away from the menu an at the girl working. His eyed automatically enlarged when he noticed the girl working. Her brown hair was tied back, some of her bangs sticking out under the red visor, which was a mandatory part of her uniform and was casting a shadow over her beautiful blue eyes. She was dressed in a pair of black jeans and red shirt, her gold name tag reading "Zelda" was pinned neatly on the right side of her shirt.

"Sure, no problem." She said, avoiding Link's gaze while turning around to get him his order. Link stared. It was no secret in school that Link was popular with the girls. Every girl in school would kill for a chance to go out with him. However, it was also known that Link's type usually consisted of the ditzy popular girls. In a normal situation Zelda would be out of the question. So why is it that ever since this new year started his mind had been full of all things Zelda? What made it worse was that his usual approach to girls was impossible to do around Zelda. He acted more like a creeper than a hotshot.

Zelda returned with his ice, handed it to him and ended the order with the typical "have a nice day." Link just stood there with a blank look and Zelda realized that she forgot to take his money. "Oh, um... er... That' ll be $3.69... Okay, $1.31 is your change." Link thanked her with a cocky smile that left her as confused as ever.
