Mystery novel.

Set of jacks.

Deck of cards.

Clothes to last the week.

"All set," Czeslaw announced to himself, snapping his suitcase shut. As he plopped down of top of it, a pang of excitement swept through him – the upcoming week would mark his first actual "vacation" since he, Firo, and Ennis melded into the quaint little family unit they were.

It would be a vacation during which he was free to be, well, a kid.

No one had to know about his immortality.

No one had to learn about his experience with the Rail Tracer.

No one needed to hear about any of that.

He could just be a kid on a cruise with his family and friends like any other normal boy his age, so Czeslaw smirked as he wandered into Firo and Ennis' room to see if they needed any help packing.

"But what if the ship blows up?"

"It won't."

"But what if it catches fire?"

"It can't."

"But what if it—"

Nice put her finger to Jacuzzi's mouth, thereby silencing him. "Hush. You worry too much."

"But it could be dangerous!" he started again.

"Nothing's going to happen. And besides," she foretold with a sly grin, "a little danger could be fun."

There she was, the bad girl that he had fallen in love with.

Jacuzzi didn't know what exactly was going to happen on this cruise ship, this Shiela of the Sea, but if Nice, brave, bad, bold Nice, was by his side, it had to be fun.

Her perfect hair, her devilish grin, she was just so exciting.

And here he was, just so… so… plain. It was something he hadn't told her, and he knew he shouldn't be brooding over it, but he kept thinking that he just wasn't good enough for such a bad girl like that.

Ah well, that's something I can't worry about now, he told himself. There's a cruise to catch.

"Ship! Ship! Ship!" Miria literally bounced up and down on the bed with anticipation. "Is it a good cruise ship, Isaac?"

"The best on this side of the country, my dear," replied Isaac.

"Will we find things to do the whole vacation long?"

"Of course we will, Miria! If there's one thing I know, it's how to show everyone a good time!" he winked.

She sat down cross-legged on the bed and leaned in to whisper, "Will there be anything fun to rob?"

Isaac raised a brow. "Now Miria, we're here as guests on a cruise ship. We can't do anything suspicious… of course there will!~"

Miria gazed into Isaac's eyes, and he gazed into hers. Theirs were eyes filled with laughter, laughter good enough to fill the entire ocean upon which they would soon be sailing.
