As luck would have it, the trap didn't work, but Ariel kept singing. "Oh boy!" said Pablo breathlessly when she had finished singing for the thousandth time. "So many penguins from the Arctic are loving this new song."
"I know!" said Ariel excitedly. "Maybe we'll get a request." Even better, the phone rang. Pablo answered it. "Hello? Arctic Radio here," he said. "Is this the request line?" asked a voice. "Let me hear that way cool 'Zelda's Song' again."
"Wow," said Pablo, even though he had no idea that the voice was the princess of Hyrule herself requesting to hear "Zelda's Song".
"Okay," smiled Pablo. "Here it is again." And he motioned for Ariel to sing it again.
Princess Zelda, you can't catch what you can't see
Scratch began singing along. But then, he and Grounder started dancing too. And they weren't looking were they were going, and they bumped right into Wario who was not happy at all. "Turn that off!" he bellowed. Scratch hurriedly did as he was told, switching the radio off quick as a flash. "Yes, sir?" Scratch saluted him. "I can't stand the voice of the mermaid!" shouted Wario. "She's singing about Zelda." With that, Wario marched over to a tall robot he had just built. "This is a Voice-a-Tron. It can detect mermaid sounds from far away. I'm going to send it after the mermaid, where it'll kidnap her and bring her to me. Then, I'll use its vacuum powers to steal the mermaid's voice and she'll be destroyed!" And Wario laughed evilly. "Now, kidnap the mermaid and steal her voice to stop that song!"
As Wario activated the robot, Scratch and Grounder set the radio to "Zelda's Song" when Wario wasn't looking.
