Words had always been Hatter's friends, unlike that treacherous Time. They were his shield when he was hurting, his defense when he had worked his way into trouble, and a finely honed weapon when danger had arrived. Words had helped him to keep both the Suits and the Resistance at peace. Sure they didn't trust him but at least Words had kept him from ending up on someone's 'need to remove' list.
They were a true and trust worthy friend.
They have never betrayed him, never gave him a reason to quarrel…
