Forget
Generally speaking David adored all the parts that made up Jack Kelly. Still every man had to have his failings and Jack was no exception to that rule. Most of his flaws weren't so great that David often noticed them and even when he did notice Jack could just smile that Devil's smile of his and David usually forgave and forgot.
There were exactly five things that David would never forget though, even if he had forgiven Jack for them. There were exactly five names that were burned into the David's memory with the same permanence as the first brush of Jack's mouth.
David could recite in his sleep the five people Jack had cheated on him with, including his sister. After Sarah there had been Alyson Mayer, Spot Conlon, Racetrack Higgins and Emily Barrowman.
There had been five times Jack came home to him heartbroken and apologetic to find a forgiving, still adoring David waiting for him.
David forgave him but never could forget.
