Author's note: Sorry no one responded on which series they wanted so I went with my favorite. If many of you do not like this modification of the story I'm sorry. Also to whoever guessed Hellboy, have a cookie from a cookie jar, I don't know where you keep them but yeah I can't give you a cookie through this so yeah...

An old man was walking his way up the many steps to a shrine where he had worked for years. As he walked up the same thousand year old stone steps he pondered on the many meanings of life.

As he reached the top he expected to see his three sons cleaning the shrine, he called them out by name. First the oldest, "Leonard!" who should have been sweeping with the push broom he was handed. Next the middle child, "Lavernius!" He shouted to the one who should have been cleaning the walls with a sponge and a bucket. And last, the youngest, "Michael!" Who should be near the statues sweeping with a feather duster. "Now where did those boys go?" He looked around, but soon came to an obvious conclusion, "Hmm."

[Same location]

In one of the very few rooms the shrine had to offer, books were scattered everywhere, and drawers were swung open. As three boys were looking through the room for something very specific, well mainly one of them.

"Seriously Tuck, this is the dumbest idea you had." The oldest one, who for some reason always had an angry Vegeta face on constantly, with his pompadour.

"Relax Church, we're not getting caught as long as you watch the door!" The middle child said, who seemed to resemble a clean shaven Jason Derulo, [let's face it, most of the fan art has him look like that] was shuffling through many drawers of a desk.

"Sorry Tucker, but I'd have to agree with Church." The youngest child said, who had blonde hair and seemed to resemble a teenage blonde Goku. He continued to stand near Church who was on lookout in case someone they all worried for came back.

Immediately while they were all having a discussion the paper and wood door slid open, making all their heads turn together. As they all paid their attention to the front of the room they soon heard a voice from behind, "It was curiosity that killed the cat." The voice said in a calm southern accent.

All the boys jumped forward to turn around and face the owner of the voice, to see that it was their own Dad. Leonard Church Senior, reached in his jacket pocket, "Something tells me you all were looking for...this?" He asked as he held up a set of keys dangling around his neck.

"So that's where they are." Tucker said as he finally realized that. Caboose scratched the back of his head in embarrassment, while Church slapped his forehead in disappointment.

"You boys weren't trying to go in their against my orders were you?" The Director asked.

"No, we weren't." Tucker said as he looked away in slight frustration he didn't get the keys.

"It is an ancient law made long ago where none shall enter there. Unfortunately you boys are not an exception to that law. But you all really want to know what's in there do you." The Director asked his sons.

Tucker and Caboose nodded their heads with such enthusiasm, "Here they are boys," The Director patted his chest, "If you can take them from me, let's see how much you all have trained." He said.

In a short moment Tucker nodded to Church, Church to Caboose, and finally Caboose to Tucker. Within a small flash they all attempted to attack from three different locations all at once. However, in another movement and a flash, Caboose ended up in the roof, Church with his butt in the floor, and Tucker with his head in the wall.

The Director shook his head, "Work harder, and remember your chores are part of your training." He said as he left.

Caboose got himself out of the roof, while Church finally got himself out of the floor, "Real smart Tucker, go get the keys and tell girls we entered an Indiana Jones temple. Great fucking job. What do you have to say now?" Church asked.

Tucker pulled himself out of the with his back towards Church, "Well boys, I just have to say..." He turned around with the keys in his mouth, "I love it when a plan comes together." He said as he laughed.

(moments later)

The boys were running through the forest to the forbidden cave they were told about so many times. Like school boys rushing to tell their friends they got to 2nd base.

Tucker made a quick joke, "Curiosity killed the cat, but lucky for us we're more like the dogs, am I right?" He said.

On their way to the cave they all went into a state of remembering the many stories about that cave. How a long time ago, a demon terrorized the land, how a warrior fought the demon with three mystical weapons. An axe that was stronger than the toughest metal, a sword that could slice through anything, and a stone fist that can crush mountains.

The demon was a fiersome demon with abilities that were unknown to this world. But they were only stories, right?

As they entered the cave they saw talismans hanging from the ceiling with rocks hanging from the top tied together with rope. All talismans had different writings on them, some were for trapping in bad spirits, others were for trapping in magic.

They all looked around where Caboose saw the stone fist smashed in a rock, Church saw the ax handle sliced into a tree stump, and Tucker saw the legendary sword dug deep into a giant stone. Each of them grabbed the mythical weapons that they each found to their likings. Caboose slipped his right arm into the fist, Church gripped the hilt of the machete with his left hand, Tucker held the sword with both his hands as they all yanked on their weapons. They soon came to a large disappointment, when Caboose lifted the fist is crumpled to dust leaving only a ring with three gems, Church tried slashing the wind but blade broke on nothing with three more gems on the hilt.

Tucker had his weapon but it's blade was rusted, "We took an ass beating for this?" He asked as he saw their weapons, "A bunch of rusted, busted pieces of shit." He said, "This sword could cut through anything?" Tucker asked as he slashed straight down at a rock only to have the sword shatter and the rock to split in half. "Shit." He said as he realized his mistake. One of the overhead stalactites (or stalagmites sorry, I found a way to uninstall Google from my phone, don't ask.) fell from the overhanging cave ceiling.

Church saw what Tucker did, "Great going genius, real smooth." He said in his sarcastic.

"How was I supposed to know this shit would happen?" Tucker asked with frustration.

While Church and Tucker were fighting, Caboose was looking around the cave for anything else. He stopped as he saw an opening in the wall that wasn't there before, "Hey guys, was that always there?" He asked looking at the wall.

Caboose slowly walked towards it as Church and Tucker followed behind him, as he stopped arguing. Caboose walked into the opening, he first stepped into a puddle of water, "That's cold, it's a little weird." He said as he stood up straight hitting his head against the roof, "Ow, my head." He said. He took one more step only to fall onto his backside and slide down a long watery slope, letting out a scream for help.

Church and Tucker tried to grab for him, "CABOOSE!!!" The two older brothers shouted.

Caboose slowed to a stop halfway down, as he flipped over to start his climb. He dropped his ring and tried to catch it, only to lose his grip and fall down more. He fell all the way to the bottom as the ring tapped him on the nose and bounced off his face. He opened his eyes to look around to see a dome made out of rocks surrounding him as he saw the walls lit up with purple and green. He looked at the center of the room as he saw the water all lead to a circular puddle in the middle of everything. As Caboose grew more curious he gulped down his fear as he walked towards the glowing circle, he did not know that his gems in his ring were glowing. As he approached the center he looked down, he was relieved it was only a light in the middle of it. He let out a breath of air, "Oh, it's only a light." He said until he looked closer at what it truly held. He gulped again in sheer terror, "What's that?" He asked, he saw a light red skeleton with what appeared to be mask of some sort, "The legend was true." He said.

"Caboose." a name called out for him, making him jump and drop the ring, he turned around to see his older brother, Church. "C'mon bud, time to ditch this place." He said as he glanced around.

Caboose nodded as he bent down to pick up his ring when, something gripped his hand as he pulled away. He looked down to come face to face with the demon he saw rising from the water. He yanked on his arm but had little to no luck of escaping, he gave up as the demon reached for his face. The bony hand began to caress his cheek and it's face leaned closer to Caboose's own face. It would have gotten closer if Church hadn't interfered by socking the demon in it's mask like face.

Caboose fell back as the demon roared in pain from the punch Church threw, as he looked at the demon's now glowing eyes. Caboose snatched the ring as Church grabbed him and rushed him up the slippery slope. He was in front of Church as he was being pushed forward to move faster. The sounds they heard behind them were enough to motivate the both of them to move faster.

Tucker waited at the top, "What the hell was that?" He asked, referring to the noise he had heard.

Church had no time to explain, "No clue but help me close the door." Church said as he and Tucker took one side and Caboose took the other. Tucker stopped pushing the door close as he turned his attention to the rock he split in half. He slid down to his knees to the rock as he grabbed a vine and started to wrap up the rock tight. Within a few delayed moments the rock was together and the door was sealed.

The boys caught their breath as they were all tired from the anxiety that was caused upon them. Church looked to Tucker, "Tuck, you're giving those keys back to Dad, right?" He asked.

Tucker already out of breath, "Fuck...Yeah." He said as he huffed large amounts of oxygen.

[Days Later]

The three boys were at school, while Church was leaning back in his chair with his eyes, and Tucker was smiling at girls Caboose was looking at the ring he obtained. A large figure shadowed over him and came up from directly behind him.

"Hey, Caboose." Palomo, the Tucker wanna be, and acquaintance to the boys, "What you got there?" He asked.

Caboose slipped the ring into his pocket as he directed his attention somewhere else, "Oh, nothing just something I found somewhere." He said.

Palomo nodded and continued his conversation with Caboose, "Alright, so what you and the boys do over the summer?" He asked.

"Oh you know, Church trained and ignored distractions, Tucker left a few times to try to impress girls. But we all stayed at the shrine." He said.

"What? You didn't try to get in on any girl action?" Palomo asked.

"No girls ever visit a shrine like the one we have." He said.

Palomo agreed, "Yeah fair point, I guess the only thing close to any action you would see are the grannies and mummies there." Palomo laughed.

Caboose started to laugh as well until he remembered what exactly was in that cave. He paused as he remembered the demon with the bony body and scary looking mask.

Palomo snapped him out of his memory, "Wait, Caboose don't tell you guys actually slept with a mummy, did you?" He shouldn't have said that.

Out of his right side Church grabbed Palomo's shirt by the collar and punched him square in the face, sending him flying to the lockers in the back of the room. Church stood up straight, "Piss off you cheap knock off." He said as he grabbed Caboose and Tucker and headed to the roof.

[On the roof]

"Church, do you think that we actually saw a demon?" Caboose asked.

"Caboose, you and Tucker shouldn't worry about shit like that." He answered.

"Yeah, just relax and don't sweat it." Tucker said as he folded his arms behind his head and closed his eyes. Church leaned against the fence to shut his, and Caboose rested his head on Church's shoulder for warmth.

Caboose couldn't shake the fact about how real that all seemed to be for him. The fact that the mummified demon from the cave looked too live like to be a fake.

Hours later they woke up on top of the roof only to find that they had slept in till it was dark. Caboose was the first one to wake up, due to the fact he was the youngest and had more energy. He had shook Church up by the shoulders, because as intimidating as Church was he was as heavy as a sleeper as well. Church kicked Tucker in the back to wake him up, "C'mon num nuts we got to go." He said as they started to head for the door.

Caboose was in the back of the group, but stopped real quick when he heard a meow. Church heard it as well and whipped around to see a black cat. Caboose put his hand down, "Here kitty, kitty." he said as he tried to pet it. The cat hopped from it's resting spot and headed for Caboose, but disappeared as it came into contact with him.

A jingle from a bell was heard as the group whipped around them to find the source. A woman dressed in a green and white accented dress was seen as she faced down on the group, jingling the bell in her hand. She tossed it into the air, as it seemed to have floated into Caboose's hands. It was at this moment she finally spoke, "Ryoko," She said, leaving the group below her confused, "That's my name." She opened her eyes showing them glowing a bright yellow green like the demon.

Caboose was the first to remember the cave, "Wait, does that mean you're the..." He stuttered in fear of the answer, "...the..." He tried to get out of his mouth as multiple specks of light were floating around them. "...the demon from the cave?" He got out as one of the lights popped.

"It was cold in there, and dark." Ryoko started, "You know how long I've been in there? 700 years. And I didn't like it, I didn't like it at all. All I want now is revenge." She said focusing her sights on the boys.

"Wait, it wasn't our fault!" Caboose pleaded.

"No?" She asked.

"No, it was our ancestor, someone named, Alpha." Church added.

"I don't care." She said plainly as she put one hand up to the starry sky. All of the reddish yellow lights that surrounded them went directly into her hand she had raised. Suddenly they all formed together to create a glowing sword type weapon. She then pointed to the center of the boys, "I just need to let my anger out on all of you right now." She finished.

She leaped into the air, the boys saw where she would land and lept back. What they didn't predict was the fact that she destroyed the part of the roof she aimed for. The boys spread out in different directions as she started to fire at Tucker, "Oh c'mon, why me?" He asked as he ran out of the way of the blasts.

She laughed maniacally as she switched her target from Tucker to Church. She flew ahead of Church as she pulled out her glowing weapon, "What's the matter Church?" She asked as she tried to slice his head off. She missed but cut the top part of the object behind Church instead.

She changed targets again as she went from Church to Caboose. She flew next to the large young brother and laughed at their efforts, "You're going to have to run a lot faster than that earthling." She said as she made him run to his brothers. They all grouped up around the rumble and began to rummage through it all to look for weapons. Caboose grabbed two large rocks that barely fit in his hand, Tucker grabbed a rebar with a piece of rumble attached to the end, and Church grabbed a metal pipe. They all stood they're ground and waited for each one of them to be ready to fight.

Church charged first as he went with his signature temple punch to close the distance. He started to punch, but then started using the pipe as though it was his preferred weapon of choice. He missed most of the shots until he started to use his signature psycho slash. She dodged all his moves as if he were in slow motion, Church then threw his pipe overhead and charged. She simply deflected the pipe with her hand but was unprepared for Church's shoulder bash as it hit her gut. She grew angry at the attempt to damage her and back handed the living daylights out of Church.

Tucker lept up next, with his slice dash as he moved forward to even the gap. He held onto the metal with his two hands and began to take samurai like swings at her. He spun around to try to throw her off guard, he even tried to sweep her leg but received a failed attempt. He grew tired of missing that he followed Church's lead and threw his weapon at her. She got hit by the weapon, then by Tucker's flying foot as he slid on the floor to kick her, she grabbed Tucker's foot then tossed him like a he was nothing straight to Church.

Caboose was up next as he threw his rock in his left hand then tried to charge forward with the right. She caught his hand and shoved him back into his brothers where they formed a small pile.

[Bonus: guess the game and characters I got the moves from]

The boys all picked each other up and began running in a serpentine pattern to avoid being hit by Ryoko. They were all dodging energy spears as they all aimed for the door to the stairs. Caboose was the first to the door followed by Tucker and Church as they got through just in time for an explosion to come at their heels. The three plummeted down on their backs, "Hey, try not to hurt yourselves. I want to do that for you." Ryoko said.

As the boys tumbled down the stairs they were aching over all the bumps from the stairs. They almost caught their breath until they looked up to see Ryoko's shadow gaining on them. Tucker and Caboose started to run again until Church grabbed both of them and practically tossed them into an open classroom. Church covered both of their mouths as they had their backs up against the wall. They saw Ryoko's silhouette from the window and didn't make a sound until they were sure that it passed.

When it was safe they huffed in large amounts of oxygen to catch their breath. Tucker spoke in between breaths, "So what do we do now?" He asked.

Church was stumped, "For now, we come up with a plan to get the hell out of here." He said.

Caboose sniffed from his nose, "What's that smell?" He asked Church.

Church smelled the air, "It's the gas pipes, she must have hit one of them when blew up the roof." Church said, "C'mon let's go." He said as he lead the way.

"Cabo~ose" A female voice called out from nowhere sending a chill down everyone's spine. The trio's eyes were dotting everywhere looking for the origin of that voice. "Cabo~ose" The voice called again. They looked to the front of the room to see Ryoko actually going through the wall. "Hello again." She said.

The three tried to dash for the door first but was suddenly stopped by a high speed stool. She walked calmly through everything as though it were nothing, "It's time for class to be in session." She said as she pulled out another energy spear.

Church, the voice of reason, "Hey, don't do that, you'll blow everyone of us to kingdom come!" He shouted.

"Bow chika bow wow." Tucker was able to slide.

"Dude, really?" Church asked as he couldn't believe the timing.

As Tucker and Church started to argue, Caboose was thinking that this might be the last time they see each other. He imagined their names would appear in the headlines as they died. Caboose couldn't wait as he grew a bright idea, he pointed his finger out the window, "Hey, what's that?" He asked as he looked out the window. The older brothers slapped their heads as they both thought that wouldn't work.

The three looked back at Ryoko to see her reaction, "Ooh, what is it? I want to see." They all grew wide eyed as they couldn't believe that it actually worked. They all moved quietly as they crept out the room, "Hey, I don't wanna miss anything." She said as she was now alone.

Caboose, Tucker and Church crawled out of the room, "I can't believe that actually worked, Caboose you're a genius. Never thought I'd say that given the fact you need my help when doing homework, house choirs, and pretty much everything." Church said not meaning to put Caboose down.

Back in the classroom the confused Ryoko looked for something random, "Oh, I don't see anything, I guess...what?" She said as she realized they left. By now the boys were speeding down the halls, she closed her fist tight sparking lighting bolts, "Oh, I'll get them!" She said as she started to spark more. Probably the worst idea to do when there is leaking gas entering the room.

An explosion fired off as the force lifted three into the air and sent them flying further down the hallway. As they landed Church threw his body in front of Tucker's and Caboose's to avoid them getting burned or injured by debris. As the smoke, pieces of rock and the fire flew over them, they stayed down and waited to get up. As they rose to their feet, Church looked back at the explosion, "Well, she's gone now." He said as he put out a small fire on his shoulder.

Caboose nodded as well, "She was kinda cute." He said.

Tucker looked at Caboose in a weird way, "Wait didn't she say she was over 700 years old?" He asked.

The boys laughed as they thought they had one, until they heard something coming from the fire. They grew wide eyed again as they saw this shadow of Ryoko's figure coming from the fire. They turned around and bolted for the stairs as they felt her growing closer.

Ryoko walked through the fire as she coughed up smoke, "Hey, that's no way to treat a lady!" She yelled.

"Well, we're dead again, she's alive." Church said as he and the boys tried to slide down the stairs quietly.

As she grew ever so closer the sweat on their brows sped as they began to sweat bullets. She flew past the stairs then flew back past the stairs to a wall with a window on it. Ryoko had looked into it but was shocked at her look, "Look at me, my hair is a mess." She said as she started to touch herself up.

The boys took advantage of this and slept into the classroom where Church punched Palomo's lights out. Caboose sat at his desk, Tucker sat on his table and Church stood with his back on the door. Tucker started to talk first, "Okay let's do a rundown. She's got super powers and is stronger than all of us combined. Any plans?" He asked.

"I'm thinking, I'm thinking." Church said.

At the same time they were thinking of a plan, Ryoko finished getting fixed up, "You are one beautiful demon." She said as she winked at herself in the mirror. She then got ready to leave, "Let's go." She said as she fazed through the wall.

The boys picked up the stuff from their classroom and started to get ready to leave. They all jumped when they heard the sound of a bell going off. Church responded first, "Relax boys, it's just the bell. Let's go." He said.

Caboose was the last one getting ready until he saw the bell. He then saw the red light on the bell and thought of another plan, "Wait, Church we can win." He said.

Tucker looked confused, "What are you talking about Caboose." He asked.

Caboose started to explain, "Remember in the story about the demon? The gems on it's wrist gave it power. If we separate gem from her wrist maybe we can get her into the cave." He said.

Church thought for a moment, "We can try at least." He said.

Caboose started to cheer, "We can do it, it's easy!" He said loudly.

"Easy, eh?" A familiar female voice asked from outside.

The boys started to run again as they were shot at by another energy blast. This one however was more explosive then before. The boys barely got out in time as Church was blown far ahead by the explosion, out cold. Tucker ran to Church as Caboose followed making sure they weren't followed. Until he bumped into Ryoko herself, standing right in front of him.

"Don't be so scared, sweetie pie." She said throwing Caboose into a confused state, "I won't hurt you...too much!" She said as she tried to slash Caboose in half.

But Caboose had lifted his bag in front of him for protection. And with that slash the bag blocked most of the attack and glowed from the inside. The had disappeared in a flash, leaving behind the ring that Caboose had gotten from the cave.

"Impressive. Catch!" She shouted as she threw energy blasts in his direction. The ring created some type of force field protecting him from the blast. As he was about to put the ring on his index finger Ryoko was preparing to attack. She charged Caboose, "I gotcha!" She said as a flash of light appeared. Caboose had put his forearm up in the way of the laser, but instead of cutting through his arm was covered in a stone gauntlet that protected him. Ryoko was as surprised as ever, "What, no fair, cheating." She claimed.

"What, no way." Caboose exclaimed. He then started to throw wild punches as he lost control of his right arm, "Sorry, I'm not trying to hurt you." He said. Apologizing fofor swing he unintentionally took in her direction. "If I had any control at all I wouldn't fight a monster like you." He said as he blocked an attack.

He gulped as he was face to face with her, "Monster?" Ryoko asked before sending him flying to a fence. "Tell me, just exactly what makes you call a pretty young lady like me a M-m-monster?" She demanded as she walked towards Caboose.

"Oh c'mon," Caboose started, "You blew up part of my school, you shoot lasers, you hurt Church and you can fly!" He listed.

Ryoko drew closer, "Very good reasons but not good enough!" She said. She stepped on some type of pushbroom in her way just as she bent it out of her way Caboose's arm lunged forward. In a second they were face to face with each other again, but Caboose's new hand turned flat and chopped Ryoko's hand off. The gem embedded in her wrist flew off and landed nearby, it shined bright and then exploded into nothing. There was an awkward moment as the two had no clue what to do. Ryoko looked around, "Oh well, another battle lost, that's the story of my life." She said as she looked at her missing hand.

Caboose looked saddened, "The ring did it, I didn't mean to cut your hand off, I...I'm sorry." He said as he bowed.

Ryoko didn't seem to mind as she made the tip of her finger glow and pressed it to her hand. She then pressed her hands together as she magically made a new one appear, "Ta-Da." She said as she impressed Caboose enough to make him clap his hands, "Good~night." She said as she disappeared into the floor.

Caboose kept clapping as Tucker picked Church's arm over his shoulders. Tucker made his way to Caboose, "We won, right?" He asked as Caboose grabbed Church's other side.

"Yeah, and now she's gone." He said as the two started to cheer as Church woke up.

"What happened?" Church asked.

"We won!" Caboose shouted.

"Ha, I knew you could do it." He said as they all began to laugh, until the school exploded again. "Let's head home."

He said.

[At home: They live with their uncle because it's closer to school]

The boys got to their room as Tucker slid into the middle bunk, Church sat on the bottom bunk, and Caboose got on the top. He then started to talk, "This ring is really powerful. I wonder what happened to the demon girl." He wondered.

"Try not to think about it Caboose." Church said.

"Yeah, you're right." Caboose said as he started to lean back, until he felt something lumpy on his bed. He sat up and slowly lifted the covers to reveal none other than the demon herself. He hopped off the top bunk and turned around to face his bed.

"Caboose, what's wrong?" Church asked as Tucker was right beside him. Caboose pointed to his bed to show Ryoko herself.

"Well, speak of devil." Tucker said, intending a pun.

Ryoko opened her eyes to see the boys standing looking up at her, "Welcome home boys." She said.

"Aw, Crap." Church said he slapped his forehead, Tucker held his head in defeat, and Caboose clapped his hands together to pray like they do at the shrine.
