Its the early 1900's Y/n,l/n cipher, and william, are a young couple who live in Oakenshyre, California. They are both rather unlucky, and they move to gravity falls, Origen due to rumors of mysterious creatures in the woods, after an old friend helps them turn their luck around, but that doesn't mean they're out of the woods yet.

2. Chapter 1: the call

chapter 1 the call 1946 August 7th

(Y/n) woke up early because she could hear William snoring loud on the couch. she took the time to call her landlady but put the wrong number, and try to hang up but failed, and the person on the other line answered "yellow?, who is this?" "sorry wrong number wait Eris?! Is that you?" "(F/n)(l/n) is that you?" "Yep it's me." "How have you been, and sorry about the lottery ticket mishap I really ruined our chances of being famous, huh? Times skip 2-hours~six'oclock noon

"The road was bumpy, but otherwise our road trip was uneventful, it's great to see you Eris!"y/n said." "It's nice to finally meet the fabled roommates who won the lottery In bad luck three times, nice to meet you Eris, call me Bill." Nice to meet you bill, and see you again y/n. Eris said as she shook bills hand and then hugged y/n. "Now you said you wanted to improve your luck, and it's like you luck goes sour at the last minute?" "Yep, pretty much." Bill, and y/n said. "Follow me will have your luck back on track in some time." "Well have to go a good ten or fifteen minutes into the woods, ok?" "is it safe, lots can happen in six years especially in the woods." Y/n said cautiously. "Don't werry so much y/n, i got ya, have a sence of adventure your the one who said our luck would change, besides it might be fun!" Bill said. "Your right lets go!" "Here you might need this, said eris as she tossed bill a sword. 'Why?" "Tall bushes."

Eris how many bushes are there? Bill asked."None were about here just at the cabin." Eris said as Bill and miss cipher, looked in awe they were on hill overlooking a lake with a log cabin on its edge the fallen leves looked as if they were blazing by the Sun's reflectant Rays where it was poking in the trees opening during sunset. "It's beautiful." Y/n said as they walked to the cabin and watched the sunset. Eris walks into the cabin with bill and y/n in tow and says "Madam Ace, Spade, I have brought my friends they wish to take back their luck as it is often snatched from them as the last minute." "Sit down my friends and let us discuss your luck, and fate."
