Hello everyone, it's been years since Scooby Doo and the Blue Cat has been touched, I've been really busy with Civil War and other stories, enough chatting, let's get on with Chapter 2!
"Like, are we there yet?" Shaggy asked from the back of the Mystery Machine.
"We'll be there soon, Shag, I promise," Fred replied.
Scooby groaned. Fred couldn't blame them; they had been driving a very long time. Elmore was quite far away from Coolsville.
"Good thing I stashed a lot of food and put it in our secret compartment Scooby-Doo! We can tuck right in," Shaggy said as he opened up a panel, revealing a tub of ice cream, corn chips, lots of varieties of chocolate and many more delicious treats.
"Rummy!" Scooby exclaimed, licking his lips.
"Shaggy, lunch can wait. We're here now" Velma said.
"What?" Shaggy asked.
"Ro!" Scooby cried, lying down on the secret compartment.
Eventually Mystery Inc got out of the Mystery Machine and looked upon a big school, which had three rows of windows with coloured frames, the building itself had a cream exterior. There were also steps leading to three colourful doors: pink on the left, blue in the middle and orange on the right side.
"Are we sure about this?" Shaggy asked.
"There's nothing to worry about, Shaggy, it's just a school!" Daphne replied.
"Like, that's what I'm worried about," Shaggy said.
"Anyway, we can't turn back now," Fred said.
"Reah, raredy rat!" Scooby said to Shaggy.
"Scooby-Doo, you get scared by your own reflection…" Shaggy said.
"Rhat's rot rue!" Scooby snapped.
"Like, just wait and see, Scooby-Doo," Shaggy stated as Mystery Inc opened the doors and entered the school.
There was no one in the school corridors, possibly because the students were in classes, but still it was good for Scooby and the gang as they can go somewhere without students turning a suspicious eye.
"Right gang, let's go find our classroom!" Fred said.
Meanwhile in one of the classrooms, Gumball Watterson wasn't having the time of his life. No, seriously he wasn't. He got detention for insulting the teacher.
"Alright, after this you have an extra special class to go to, it involves mystery solving and paranormal activity," The teacher, Miss Simian said.
The bell rang; everyone had a sigh of relief.
Gumball and Darwin were the first ones out and headed straight for the special class which was apparently right opposite where they were.
"Hey Gumball, excited for the special class?" Darwin asked.
"Yeah, totally. For once I actually want to go to a class," Gumball replied.
"Who do you think is the teacher?" Darwin wondered.
"I have a feeling, buddy" Gumball answered as he took out a newspaper he was reading earlier, he showed it to Darwin.
"I think it's these guys…"
"Who's Mystery Inc?" Darwin asked, while reading the headline.
"They're this group of mystery solvers who go to haunted places and solve the mystery of a certain monster or ghost but the monsters are usually men in masks. Just last week, they unmasked the Ghost of Blackbeard," Gumball explained.
"Cool!" Darwin said.
"If there's anyone that can teach mystery solving and paranormal activity, it's them," Gumball added.
The classroom door opened, revealing a teen with blonde hair, a white shirt, blue pants, brown shoes and some orange scarf thing wrapped around his neck.
"No way," Gumball murmured.
"Welcome class, I'm Fred Jones and I'll be one of your teachers for this lesson. Come inside and sit down," Fred said.
The class entered in silence, probably because they were nervous. Gumball and Darwin sat in the two front middle seats. Gumball seemed to notice other teens in the room as well: two girls, one guy and a dog.
"This is the people, the real Mystery Inc, right in front of me…" Gumball thought.
"Allow me to introduce the other members of today's lesson today: Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy…" Fred introduced.
"Rand Scooby Doo!" The dog said. Everyone went back into their seats.
"Why's everyone surprised? I'm a cat, Darwin's a fish and everyone reacts to a dog!" Gumball thought.
"Welcome to Mystery 101. I'm sure all of you will learn something today…" One of the girls, Velma said.
The class, according to some students, was one of the best classes they ever been to this year. Mystery Inc showed how to find a juicy mystery and what you need to solve it. Fred demonstrated how one of his traps work. Shaggy and Scooby taught some of the kids their eating skills. Daphne taught the class how to not become a damsel in distress, despite her failed attempts, and Velma finally showed some of the masks of some of the monsters that they unmasked and taught them how to piece all your clues together.
"Before you go home today… are there any questions?" Velma asked.
No one raised their hands. Gumball was thinking of a question but before he could, the bell rang.
"Thank you class; you were the best class today!" Daphne said as the class was leaving.
"Reah, rome rof rhe rother rasses rere rupid!" Scooby stated.
"Like, you said it, Scooby-Doo…" Shaggy said.
Mystery Inc had a sigh of relief, the day was finally done.
"Man, that was a long day; I had to make the same sandwich five times!" Shaggy said.
"Rand reat rhem roo…" Scooby added.
"Yep it's been a very long day…" Velma said.
"Don't forget we're teaching kids all week," Fred announced.
"Say what?" Shaggy exclaimed.
"Yeah, I had a chat with the principal and asked if he could stay for one week since the classes really loved us!" Fred explained.
"We should find a hotel then," Daphne suggested.
"Rood ridea!" Scooby said.
Mystery Inc eventually exited their classroom and headed into their familiar Mystery Machine and as everyone was getting into their respective seats. Gumball and Darwin were hiding in the bushes and watching them drive off then Darwin stood up.
"Stalk much?" Darwin stated.
"What? No, I wasn't stalking, I was observing…" Gumball lied.
"Are you sure?" Darwin asked.
"Maybe…" Gumball replied.
There was a moment of silence.
"Right, time to go!" Gumball quickly said.
Gumball soon rushed home as fast as he could. Darwin was watching him rushing home.
"He must be a fan…" Darwin said to himself.
Darwin soon followed suit after Gumball.
That's it, the second chapter I mean. Don't worry; it's going to get very interesting next chapter with Gumball and Darwin actually meeting Mystery Inc in person!
