Reccomended for heighten reading: 'Sin and Restitution' by Future World Music and 'Heart Of Fire' by Valentin Wiest
"What did you do?!" Loki raged at his father, Thor the calm one for once.
"It was her punishment!" the All Father said calmly and turned away from his pale son.
"LOOK AT ME!" Everyone in the chamber who hadn't been paying attention turned to him, Odin keeping his back to the prince.
"She knew what she was doing," it was barely above a whisper in the deadly-silent room.
"She was under my command!" the son yelled, his voice lower than before and Thor stepped forward to comfort his brother.
"Then you could have stopped her."
Loki, tears in his eyes opened his mouth to say something, but thought better of it.
"I thought you would have been more considerate, after all she's done for you. For Asgard," the sorcerer turned away and walked out, leaving the others behind, ignoring his father calling out to him.
Æsa let out a bitter tear but it quickly turned to ice as the wind whipped her white hair, her purple eyes filled with rage. Usually she would have given anything to travel in the Bifrost, the rush it gave her, today she would have given anything to have sat with Loki underneath a tree in the garden with a few apples and the book she was reading. To onlookers it would have seemed rather romantic, but Loki it was anything but. They had grown up with each other, it would seem strange for him to think of her as anything other than sibling. Another tear escaped from Æsa's eyes before she could stop it. Earth was drawing closer, she could start to make out the unique blue and green sphere, it must have surely been one of Frigga's favourite places to have it look like this. She closed her eyes as she drifted closer, willing herself to forget everything, but knowing it was in vain. She wanted to feel numb, to forget the hurt and sorrow and some of the guilt. She knew what she did was wrong, but Loki asked for it. She would do anything if Loki asked. Now she was not some weak woman who would bend at anyone's will. But her duty to Frigga commanded her to do it, because of her love for Loki, anything he asked for, she would do willingly.
I promise these will get longer as the story progresses! Review my lovelies! J
