"Ah Chase I don't think thats really that safe" whined Bren from where he was standing next to Jinja peering over the edge of the cliff. Chase stood on the edge of the cliff with a determened look on his face. Chase had decided that they should try and do some stuff without their Monsuno's help so when they came to a cliff with another cliff on the other side of it Chase decided that it would be a smashing idea to jump that distance.
"Relax B, it's perfectly safe" said Chase smiling. Jinja walked over to Chase and put one of her hands on his sholder.
"Chase, look theres two types of crazy in this world, the first crazy is talking to banannas and the second crazy is well thinking that you can jump a fair distance between to cliff faces" she said, "Why don't you just let me use Skyfall and we could be on the other side of this cliff in no time" said Jinja smiling. Chase shook his head.
"No Jin we depend too much on our Monsuno's we have to learn how to manage without them" said Chase backing up a bit to jump the distance. Dax smirked and went to join Chase.
"Calm down Princess you to Glasses, this is gonna be fun" said Dax. Bren and Jinja looked at them in disbelief.
"Ok just stop for a minute think about think logically!" snapped Bren. "On one side we have a far distance! Long drop into a rushing river! And on the other side we have Monsuno's that could safely carry us to the other side without even getting a scratch on our skins!" said Bren. Dax and Chase looked at each other and laughed.
"I don't see what's so funny about this!" snapped Jinja. Dax looked at her.
"Princess it's simple, huge gape equals FUN!" said Dax with a grin.
"Beyal what do you think?" asked Bren looking at the monk who had been watching the scene play out. Beyal looked at Bren in thought.
"We'll think your pretty cool if you wanna jump" said Chase. Beyal looked thoughtful.
"I do not want to be uncool" he muttered. "Ok let us jump my friends" he said smiling. Bren and Jinja facepalmed. Jinja grabbed Skyfalls core.
"Ok you guys can risk your lives" sighed Jinja getting ready to launch Skyfall but Chase snatched her core. "Hey!" yelled Jinja glaring at Chase. Chase frowned.
"Jinja! I'm conferskating Skyfall till we get to the other side" he said firmly. Jinja glared at him and was about to punch Chase full on in the stomach when Chase threatend worse. "I'll have Charger to" he said. Jinja looked at him gobsmacked.
"Chase Suno I am going to beat the living hell out of you" yelled Jinja. Chase stared into her eyes.
"I'll have them for five weeks" he said. Jinja groaned and looked away before sadly handing over Charger to Chase before he asked for Whippers core. "Good now lets jump this thing" said Chase smiling.
"But shouldn't we at least get a rope to tie around the waist of the person who's jumping?" asked Jinja.
Chase nodded and smiled "Nice thinking Jin! I think I saw an old rope tied to the tree where we slept under last night! And because you where the one who offered the suggestion of rope Jin you get to go get it" said Chase sitting down on the ground. Jinja looked at him in anger, "We can wait all day" said Chase smiling. Jinja rolled her eyes and walked off in a huff.
At last nights campsite
Jinja walked over to the old tree that they had slept under and saw a rope tied around one of the branches. "There it is" said Jinja starting to untie the rope. But a hand suddenly clamped over her mouth. Jinja looked down at saw hands skin color was a dark brown.
*If this is one of Dax's sick jokes!" thought Jinja as she elbowed her attacker in the guts. Her attacker stummbuled backwards and to Jinja's shock it was Kilo from the S.T.O.R.M strike squad.
"What the hell do you want" growled Jinja reaching for Whippers core but somebody grabbed her arm, she felt Whippers core fall from her grasp and to the ground. She turned her head and saw Bravo holding her arm and with his other hand he covered her mouth. *Crag!* thought Jinja kicking wildly getting out of his grasp, Bravo fell back into a bush. She was about to scream for help when somebody kicked her in the back. It was Tango.
"Don't bother getting up Jinja" she said putting her foot on Jinja's back. X-ray and Alpha came out from the bushes, X-ray held rope and Alpha held a wakie talkie type thing.
"Report back to base one, mission complete" said Alpha into the device. Jinja was ready to kick some serious butt when Kilo kicked her in the head knocking her out cold, blood leaked from a cut on her head.
"Kilo you could of given the girl brain damage" sighed Alpha with a cheeky smirk. X-ray smiled and tied up Jinja. "Come on guys" said Alpha turning around. Bravo picked up Jinja and slung her over his sholder. "Good job everybody misson complete" said Alpha.
Back at the cliffs
Chase was now getting a bit worried, "Hey B can you go check on Jin?" asked Chase in concern. Bren looked over at Chase and nodded getting up and making his way towards the old campsite.
Bren hummed a little tune, "Jinja? Hey Jinja you got the rope?" he yelled. No reply he walked on a bit further and then he saw something that stopped him in his tracks. "Cchase! CHASE, CHASE HELP COME QUICK" Yelled Bren at the top of his lungs. He heard the sound of running and soon Chase, Beyal and Dax where next to him.
"B whats wrong?" asked Chase in concern. Bren gulped and pointed at the scence in front of him. Chase looked up and saw everything. A huge blood trail, a broken bush and Whippers core.
S.T.O.R.M BASE
Jinja opened her eyes slowly. She raised a hand to her head but when she touched the side of her head she pulled her hand back in pain. "What happened to me?" said Jinja to herself as she looked at her hand and saw blood. Then it hit her... Alpha and his strike squad had come and kidnapped her.
Jinja's looked around the room she was being kept in. The room was about as big as any normal bedroom size, but it was made out of metal. In the top left hand corner of the room was a table and two chairs, a bed that Jinja was sitting on and then Jinja saw something that shocked her greatly where the door was meant to be there was nothing.
*Ok Jinja time to get out of here* thought Jinja as she stood up on unsteady feet. She took some steps to the hole in the wall and tried to walk out but when she touched the place where the door was meant to be it cut her hand. Jinja gave a scream and fell backwards.
"Well that was stupid" said a voice. Jinja looked up and saw Alpha standing in the doorway.
5 minutes earlier
"Good work strike squad" Said Commander Trey. The strike squad stood together in Trey's office. "You successfully completed the task that was given to you, but I have one slight problem" said Trey going stiff again.
Alpha, Tango, Kilo, Bravo and X-ray looked at Trey confused. "What?" asked Alpha. Trey glared at him.
"The object that you retrieved for S.T.O.R.M had a cut on her head! We need her to be fit and healthy!" growled Trey, "Now I already know who I'm going to punish and that is Alpha" said Trey. Alpha looked at Trey in shock.
"But Commander it was Kilo who kicked her!" he yelled. Commander Trey glared at him and hit him across the face. Alpha stumbled backwards, Bravo steadied him again.
"Alpha I don't care who did it! You are in charge of the strike squad! You should of known better then to let your comrades harm the object of your mission" yelled Trey. Alpha straightened up again and looked away.
"Yes Sir" he whispered. Trey nodded.
"Your punishment is to take care of the girl till she is better and she is fully healed! That includes looking after her wounds, feeding her and taking her for exercise in the gym" said Commander Trey with a smirk. Alpha looked shocked.
"But Sir!" he started. "Why do you need the girl healthy!" yelled Alpha clearly angered by the fact that he had to look after Jinja.
"Silence!" yelled Trey, "Listen Alpha, orders are orders! Now get to work" he yelled pointing to the door. Alpha sighed and walked off, Tango, Bravo, Kilo and X-ray gave him looks of sympathy as he left the room. But Alpha ignored them.
Alpha walked towards the jail cells in the base with a medical box in his hands, "This is just great" he muttered to himself. Just as he said that he heard a scream of pain. "Looks like she's discovered the invisible door" he said grinning as he found her cell, he saw her on the ground with a deep cut on her hand and that cut Kilo had created on her head.
Present time
"Well that was stupid" he said pushing a button on the outside of the cell and then he walked through the doorway and into Jinja's cell. He saw Jinja stand up on unsteady legs and glare at him.
"If you don't get back I'm going to bet the living hell out of you S.T.O.R.M boy" yelled Jinja clentching her fists. Alpha rolled his eyes and turned back to the invisible door and spoke, "Lock" he said. A voice sounded out overhead.
"Voice code actervated, welcome Alpha cell door 3 locked". Jinja stayed tense as Alpha placed the medical box on the table and sat down on one of the chairs.
Jinja glared at him and stayed where she was, "What do you want?" she said. Alpha groaned.
"Come over here so I can treat your wounds" he said impaitionetly. Jinja looked at him confused. "Come over here" said Alpha again. Jinja raised an eyebrow.
"Why are you doing this?" she asked as she slowly walked towards him and sat down on the other chair. Alpha sighed rolled his eyes.
"Orders are orders" he said simplyly then he grabbed her hand. Jinja pulled away. "Do you want your hand to get better or what?" he said. Jinja causitly held her hand out to him and Alpha started wipping away the blood. Soon her hand was bandaged and Alpha was now starting on the side of her head.
"What's up with that door" said Jinja. Alpha gave a light chuckle.
"It's an invisible one, but when you touch it it cuts you" he said. Jinja nodded.
"But how come you could come in?" she asked. Alpha smiled.
"Easy I just press the button on the otherside of the door, you're such an idiot" he said. Jinja looked at him and rolled her eyes.
"Then what where you saying before?" she asked.
"Well when I'm in here I need a way to make sure you can't escape and when I told the door to lock it did so you can't get out" said Alpha, "Now no more queastions I have to go" he said standing up and turning around.
"See you in one hour thats when training starts" he said.
Well sorry guys I kind of made Chase into a total ass in that one being all bossy and stuff to Jinja but it kind of helps the story move along and anyway I can see Chase doing that! Hoped you all enjoyed! Please read and review :)
