Chapter 2 Shopping & Grimmauld Place

Helena was excited to finally be able to get everything she wanted and needed without someone guarding her twenty-four hours a day. She thought she deserved some freedom after everything she's been through. She's more than earned it.

Her first stop was the trunk shop because she didn't want to be carrying a lot of bags everywhere.

When she entered the shop, she requested a seven compartment trunk. Four were basic compartments, while the fifth was a dueling room, the sixth a library with an unlimited extension charm on the shelves for unlimited books. Lastly, the seventh compartment was an apartment, so she finally had the escape she needed from the Dursley family. It was just too bad she couldn't disown Petunia.

The awesome thing about the apartment has an enchantment that lets the client choose the colors they want, the enchantment leaves everything in white colors until the client changes it. To change it they just have to put the tip of their wands on the furniture or the walls and think about the color they wanted. But the enchantment only works that one time, so it would be better if people already had an idea of what they wanted.

The only things that weren't in white couldn't be changed, the enchantment doesn't work on them.

Anyway, Helena's trunk was lined in grey leather. The metal endings and the handles were in silver, while the clasps were blue sapphire stones. Her initials H.J.C.P.B was engraved in elegant calligraphy in blue and silver.

Her new school bag was beautiful black leather with a blue sapphire clasp.

Both her trunk and school bag has safety enchantments to keep anything from damaging them. There were fireproof, waterproof, Anti-theft, anti-curse, feather-light charms, and shrinking charms. And each compartment on the trunk was password secured. Helena loved knowing her belongings were safe from everyone because she knew there were many people who didn't believe her when she said Voldemort was back. Not that she can blame them because if someone told her that her childhood monster was back, she'd revolt too.

After she left the trunk shop she headed for Ollivanders to purchase a wand holster keyed to Helena's blood so it would return to her when it was laying somewhere away from her. Safety came first now that Voldemort was back even if he swears a vow never to come after her.

Helena's next stop was Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions for a new everyday wardrobe. She was tired of wearing raggedy boy clothes that looked like that should be on an elephant. She was a young lady and she's going to dress the part. Not to mention, she was an heiress to some of the oldest lines and she had a lot to learn. She's already wearing her heiress rings to protect her from mind intrusion, compulsions, curses, and poisoning potions.

She bought seven of everything. Blouses, long-sleeved shirts, undergarments, trousers, skirts, dresses, shoes, and multiple accessories. She also got her school uniforms so she wouldn't have to worry about it when she bought her school supplies.

After she was done, she headed to Twilfitt and Tattings for the top of the line robes and heels. She knew the wizarding world had a coming out party for sixteen-year-old girls on their birthdays. She didn't understand why yet, but she was going to be prepared.

Finally, she last stops were Flourish & Blotts, Slug & Jiggers Apothecary, Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop, Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment, and Potage's Cauldron Shop. She knew she most likely had her needed school supplies but she hasn't got her Hogwarts letter yet, so she wasn't going to worry about it.

She spent an hour at the Leaky Cauldron eating lunch before going back into the Muggle World for more shopping. She got more clothes, books, journals, pens, art supplies, a violin, and food and drinks. Now that Helena knew she had the money for her hobbies, she wasn't going to waste any time in furthering her passions. Art and music was everything to her, she loved it. It brought her some piece from the drama in her life.

When she returned to the Dursley's home, she was stunned to see Remus outside.

"Remy, what are you doing here?" she asked smiling.

"I'm taking you somewhere safe," he stated just as Moody came outside.

"What's my Patronus?" she asked going for her wand.

"A stag. I told you there was no way your father wouldn't protect you, even from the grave," he said smiling.

"Let me get my belongings. You didn't get all off it. I hid my important things under the floorboards," she stated as she entered the room heading for the bed. She pulled out her photo album, cloak, and a defense book that Sirius had gotten her as an early birthday present.

"You're a very smart young lady. And you look very beautiful," Remus stated. She smiled as she looked down at her outfit. She wore a light blue dress that stopped two inches below her knees, a light pink sweater jacket with matching heels. She also wore a light pink jewelry set. Her hair was in a french braid with her bangs framing her face. She didn't wear makeup because she didn't need it. She was beautiful natural.

"Thank you," she said smiling.

"Are we ready to leave?" Moody asked.

"How are we getting there?" Helena asked.

"Flying," Remus stated.

"Um, have you seen what I am wearing? I can't ride a broom in a dress," she stated stunned.

"I can transfigure your clothes and shoes. It'll wear off when we get to the safe house," Remus explained.

"Okay," she said frowning. She liked her dress and didn't feel like changing it. It was the first thing she wore that made her feel pretty after growing up having been made to wear boy clothes.

Her outfit was transfigured into white jean capris, blue blouse, white sweater jacket, and blue sandals.

"Read this," Remus instructed when they landed just as her outfit changed back.

"Number 12 Grimmauld Place," she muttered under her breath. She might be neutral but she wasn't going to put everyone in danger.

When they entered the house, everyone was waiting. She was surprised by how angry she got at them. These people were supposed to be her friends and they never wrote to her this summer. She was tired of being friends with these kinds of people. They were supposed to care about her, not ignore her.

It was time to give these people a piece of her mind. Helena was more than done letting people control her and her life.
