Hello everyone!
Sorry for not updating for a long time. I was distracted and then busy for most of my time due to a lot of family issues. Right now, all most everything is back to normal and the past few years had been very rough. I am planning to continue all the works that I haven't finished both published & unpublished so hopefully I get to that.
So Enjoy! And thank you everyone who is still here reading this!

Chapter 2: Journey to the past (part ii)
In the forest of New World (modern day Mystic Falls), 11th Century
The first thing Percy noticed when he came to consciousness was that he was lying on something very uncomfortable. Secondly, he could hear the sound of birds chirping which wasn't something that he usually heard when he was sleeping in his cabin or even his mother's apartment in Manhattan. These small things alerted his demigod senses that something was off. Within seconds he was up blinking his eyes trying to get rid of the haziness in his eyes from sleep. His hands automatically went to his pant pockets looking for riptide which to his immense relief was still there.
With riptide in his hand still in pen form he took in his surroundings. He was in a forest which explained the birds. He was still dressed in the clothes he had worn to the party which was forced on him by his mother. A pair of black jeans and a blue button up shirt that everyone said, complimented well with his sea green eyes. Percy decided to walk around in hopes of getting out of this forest while sent a prayer to his father in hopes that he could help him (chances were slim since gods couldn't intervene with their children's life). Walking along what looked like a footpath that looked well used. His mind tried to contemplate any gods he had recently made angry and came up empty since the only ones he could think of were Ares and Athena who both far too valued their immortal life to piss off his father at the moment.
His journey was halted when he felt a presence a few feet away from him. Something he had developed after continues training with his father, uncle and also Lady Hestia. He silently activated riptide which took form of a 3-foot long celestial bronze sword. He held the familiar blade and concentrated on finding the location of the source of presence. He took quite steps towards the person only to lower the sword at the sight of a familiar person but also slightly unfamiliar at how they were dressed.
Standing in front of him was Hermes, the Greek god of messengers and travel dressed in a toga unlike his usual self who is usually clad in a business suit. In his hand he held his staff, caduceus George and Martha in full snake form.
Percy gave a small bow as show of respect for the familiar god who was his cousin. After, the war they had become closer spending possible chances talking about the past, present and even the future. Since, he had spent so much time with the particular god he could sense that the figure in front of him was somehow different. Thus, Percy didn't cap the riptide and held it loosely but in a sure grip in his hand.
"Lord Hermes, what brings you here?", Percy asked in a formal tone of voice. At this the man raised an eye brow as if he was surprised at Percy recognizing him before schooling his features.
"Very well demigod, I have a message from Lord Poseidon", Hermes replied before waving his arms and an Iris message appeared.
In the message was his father in the throne room of his underwater castle. But the throne room was very different from what he was used to. It looked almost new as if it had just been built which puzzled Percy. Nonetheless, he bowed paying respect to his father.
"Hello, dad"
"A son of mine? But, I have no offsprings that could be your age," his father spoke his tone filled with curiosity as well as suspicion.
"What do you mean? I just met you last night. Look I even have Anaklusmos", Percy exclaimed holding the said sword up for the man to see.
"This is not possible," the sea god muttered to himself before asking another question from his supposed son. Taking in the boy's unusual attire he asked, "What year is it?"
"Huh! You are joking right? It's the year 2009", but just as he answered the question he knew it was a big deal. Time. Please don't tell me I have travelled to a different time dimension. That would explain the old attire both his father and cousin wore. Or this could all be a big nightmare and he is still lying on his bed in the Poseidon cabin. Percy pinched himself for good measure only to feel stinging pain on his arm and with the acceptance that this was reality.
After the sea god's request Percy explained what had happened before he woke up on the forest floor making sure to omit any important details that could affect the timeline. Wise girl would be proud. Oh no! Annabeth, Grover and all his friends must be looking for him and he has no way of letting them know that he was fine.
"This is unusual. From what I understand you have stumbled upon accidental time magic. It will be difficult to reverse the spell without any more information on the matter. While, Kronos is in the pit there is no way of investigating this quickly and we must not alert the other gods before we are sure of what is going on. For now you can present yourself as a son of mine from this era since it would not be much difficult. Still, the ancient laws prevent me from helping you directly so for now follow that path which leads to a civilization. The place you have woken up is called the New World. Hermes will help you with a realistic story that will help you find a warm place to stay", Poseidon told Percy before ending the message vanishing his image with it.
Percy had forgotten about Lord Hermes who had been there the whole time. He turned towards the god who placed to fingers on Percy's forehead his eyes closed in concentration. Memories and images flooded through Percy's mind creating a story. So, this was what his dad who is the Poseidon from this time told him.
"Very well, young son of Poseidon. Hope you have a safe journey. I have a feeling we will meet again," Hermes nodded again as he left with a flash of light causing Percy to close his eyes.
"What just happened?"
